We have had a wonderful two days with our guide Kea Simon. Seeing Angkor Wat and many other temples around Siem Reap. Our taxi was top rate, very comfortable and air conditioned with plenty of drinks available to keep us hydrated. Excellent tour guide Mr Sam Spoke English very well. Shared very good insight about our excursions. Picked us in a nice air conditioned car, water, cold towels. Reasonable prices for the tour. We did 3 temples and the following day we did floating market village . My husband and I booked a private 2 day tour with Angkor Wat Tours. We communicated with Mara who was incredibly responsive regardless of time zones. He was also very flexible when we needed to alter our plans, first due to an injury and then next due to weather. We had Mr. Art as our licensed English speaking tour guide who was wonderful; we would highly recommend him. We had a separate tuk tuk driver who was there for us to take us from Temple to Temple. We planned out which temples we wanted to see but I'm sure they would make suggestions if you are not up for the research. Price was very reasonable. Visiting the Angkor Wat region has been high on our bucket list for many years. Now we could make this dream come true. With Cambodia we got to know a wonderful country with many warm, open-minded and interested people. We had a great two days with Angkor tour Guides. Three of us booked a private tour through Trip Advisor. Sarun picked us up at our hotel with a driver and very nice van. We did all the major temples. Sarun was full of history and stories and knowledge about the area. Not only did he describe what we were seeing but he also took many pictures of us. Straight on and panoramas. He helped me a lot with my camera. Sarun and the driver had cold water whenever we wanted it and cool wet towels that were fabulous when we got back into the van. We had a very good tour with Sarun. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. On our first day we saw all of the major sites and on the second day we got up early for the sunrise over Angkor Wat which was beautiful!
We’d identified in advance the temples we wanted to do over two days, and Mara adapted two existing tours without fuss. This included sunrise at Srah Srang, where there were only about a dozen people as opposed to the 500-1,000 who are typically at Angkor Wat, which made it an infinitely more serene experience…with a great coffee shack then just 200 metres away. Our guide for both days was Sarun, who was brilliant. His knowledge of the temples and history of his country was expansive, and delivered with endless enthusiasm, and during which you also get a lot of insight into his personal past and family life. Special mention too, to our calm and patient driver. This all layers up to a fantastic overall experience, which has been brilliantly supplemented and documented by his professional level photo-taking. Ta Prohm was probably our favourite, and the only disappointment was sunset at Phnom Bakheng: its elevated position is its draw and hence its downfall, with way too many people. If you’re going to come half way round the world to see one of the wonders of the world, it seems false economy to go round these widespread sites on your own, so book a guide, and book these guys!

Amazing 2 day tour with Sarun, his knowledge of the temples and his country was so interesting. We love hearing about culture and it was lovely to hear about Sarun’s life and his pride in his country. He was very caring and wanted the best for us and he took some amazing photos, which we would never have got ourselves. We would like to thank the driver as he was always there, waiting for us, it was very professional but also very friendly, Sarun also got my husband’s sense of humour( which isn’t always the case🤣). On the 2nd day it was also amazing to see 1000 monks on giving of the alms. It was an amazing 2 days of learning and imagining and trying to understand what it was like and which Sarun made it so special, we will never forget. We both felt quite emotional at the end of the tour, as we ended up seeing Sarun as a friend. 🙏❤️

We had an incredible two-day tour of Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples with Kea Simon as our guide. The tour included both a sunrise and a sunset experience, as well as visits to numerous breathtaking temples. Kea Simon was punctual with pick-ups, and we were well taken care of throughout the trip with cold water provided—a real blessing in the heat! Kea Simon is extremely knowledgeable and shared fascinating insights about the history, culture, religion, and stories behind the temples. His passion for the subject really enhanced our experience, making each site come alive. The lunch stops were also well-planned, giving us time to recharge in between exploring. The only downside was the cloudy weather, which obscured the sunrise and sunset views, but that’s just nature! Regardless, Kea Simon’s excellent guidance and storytelling more than made up for it. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Angkor Wat. This tour is both educational and memorable!
Kea Simon was an excellent tour guide for Angor Wat. We were picked up on time and made to feel welcome to Cambodia. We received a quality tour with a lot of detailed information about the temple. We arrived before sunrise and Kea made sure we had an excellent placement for the viewing. As the sun came into different positions he took us where we would get excellent photos. We were given lots of breaks and cold water to drink whenever needed. We visited several temples and Kea ensured we learned a lot about them. He took some great photos of my friend and I. I would highly recommend Kea Simon as your tour guide. You can tell that he loves his job. We were happy to meet him.
It is well worth getting a guide for Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples. The guides are incredibly knowledgeable and have a great respect for the history and culture of the complex. It was perhaps the most impressive guided experience I have had during my travels to many historical sites. We were guided by Keng Samuth and Sroeb Man across two days, and explored the area unguided on our final day and it was the highlight of our time in South East Asia.
We made the 2 days bike tour with mr. Savunn and we really enjoyed the experience. Mr. Savunn took us to less touristic routes and to the best points to take photos. He was very prepared and ready to answer to all our questions. The tour is adventurous and physically challenging but it's worth it. We highly recommend it!!

We did the one day grand circuit private tour of Angkor for two people and were very satisfied. It was a full 8 hours from pick-up to drop-off and we were able to see at least 5 temples and some smaller features. Our guide Kia Simon and the driver Saruon were both very nice. Simon explained the temples well and showed us good spots for photos. He was willing to adapt to the time we wanted to spend in each place. The car was always available when we finished at each place. Highly recommended and a great experience meeting them both. I recommed using a professional guide since it makes the experience so much better.
We used Get Your Guide for our Angkor Wat tours. The guide, Thean, and driver, Sreang, were excellent. Very informative, helpful and fun. Extensive knowledge about all the temples; history, religion and cultural stories. This was our first time in Cambodia. Thean and Sreang gave us a full and rich understanding of the culture and history of Cambodia. Also filled us in on the local agricultural and fruit specialties. Best of all, they were a lot of fun! We felt well cared for by our Ankor Wat guide, Sinan Nouen. He was very friendly and engaging, he took us to a great selection of sites over two days, and he was very knowledgeable in explaining the various temples and art works. Later I compared what he told us with the detailed guidebook I had read in advance, and I discovered that he had taken us to all the best places, and explained many of the art works (like the bas reliefs at Angkor Wat and Bayon) far better than the guidebook. He also took great photos of us at some of the key spots, including panorama shots of us on front of trees growing out of temples. He is clearly devoted to studying and understanding the temples and the Khmer civilization and will only get better as the years progress.
I had the great luck to embark on a 2-day private tour with Nat to explore the wonders of Angkor. On the first day, we did Angkor Wat at sunrise and Ta Prohm and Bayon later on the day, and on the second day, we did sunset boat ride to one of the floating villages and prior to that visited some more temples. When I booked this private tour at the hotel, they said they are going to get the best tour guide for me, and indeed they did! :) Nat was all you could ask for in a guide, polite, knowledgeable, and very helpful with taking pictures and making sure you are getting the most out of your Angkor Wat experience and leave with a nice memory. Nat is passionate about his country and enjoys his work. He even gave me some tips to visit on other regions of Cambodia. Can't wait to return!
My brother and I booked a 2 day tour with Angkor Wat Tour Guides the night before and were nervous about what to expect. It seems pricey, but is completely worth it if you want to get far more of an experience rather than just seeing the temples with a guidebook (and also helps fund local guides/tour companies!). They were super responsive and communicative (and fluent in English). They assign you a guide and driver, and you can completely customize your tour based on your interests/fitness level. Air con/SUV/unlimited water between stops (although bring your own and try to save some plastic), break for lunch at affordable pre-determined restaurants. Our guide/driver team (Savun and Yung) was AMAZING and I can’t recommend them enough. Savun is extremely experienced and we lucked out with him- he is fluent in English and passionate about his country’s culture and history. He brought the temples to life as we walked through them. His knowledge of history, mythology, culture, politics, religion is extensive. He grew up in Siem Reap and lived through the Khmer Rouge rule, so his perspective was especially informative. He also was very attuned to our needs and checked in and tailored the tour to our interests while giving us space to explore on our own. We loved all his stories about the carvings. He told us the history of each temple in detail and also pointed out local plants and animals. He knew the best times to go to each temple to avoid crowds and took us to all the best places to take photographs. He knows smaller temples and secret spots, too, if you want to go off the beaten path. We went to Beng Melear which is an hour drive from the main sites of the park, but gorgeous and probably my favorite spot. Savun also free lances and I’ve posted his number here (can’t recommend him enough). Sovun was our guide during the two days and we had a wonderful experience. He made sure we had the best sight of every temple and always offered to take pictures of us in nice settings. We are grateful and will have those memories forever.
My wife and I were in Siem Reap at the end of October 2023 and had booked Ms. Morokoth for 2 days to visit the temple complex, as we wanted to do the tour with a German-speaking guide. We were very, very impressed with Ms. (Moro)-Koth. The two days with her were simply perfect. Ms. Koth has incredible knowledge, she is a wonderful and loving companion and always asked if and how long we wanted to visit a temple complex and whether the information and stories about the respective area were sufficient. We can only warmly recommend her. We paid USD 140.00 for the two days - this included transport by tuk-tuk on the first day and by van on the second day (with a driver, of course) and there was also enough water, which Ms. Koth repeatedly asked us to do. We were looking for a German-speaking tour guide at very short notice for a tour of the Angkor Wat temple complex. Since our original contact was not available, Mr. Nimol was recommended as a replacement. He showed us the entire temple complex over two days. We learned a lot of interesting facts about the complex, but also about the culture and living conditions in Cambodia. It was useful that Mr. Nimol also organized a tuk-tuk driver. The driver and tour guide picked us up from our accommodation at the agreed time in the morning and brought us back there again. For us, it was an all-round successful trip. We can only warmly recommend Mr. Nimol and are very happy afterwards that we chose a personal tour guide and did not have to go on a trip with a large tour group. This meant that we could tailor the trip to our individual needs. It was very easy to contact him; we called him on +855 17 606 263 and discussed everything else with him.
We booked a two-day tour of Angkor with Ms. Morokoth in July. We were traveling as a family with two grown-up boys (19 and 17). We felt very well looked after by Ms. Morokoth. She picked us up from the hotel and was extremely punctual. She speaks German very well and knows her way around very well. She told us a lot about Angkor and Cambodia in general. We really learned a lot of new things. We were very happy that we didn't do the tour ourselves. It is definitely worth doing the tour with Monokoth. We would recommend it to everyone. Monokoth is a great guide! Monokoth has two children and was delighted to receive gummy bears and sweets from Germany (just a tip)
