We had great tour with our guide thean. Temples were amazing. We liked Angkor Wat most. Our guide was knowledgeable.

Booked a private Sunrise Tour with my wife and we had a great time. He teached us a lot about the history of Angkor and Cambodia. He knew about the best places to go, where not to many tourists went. He also took great pictures of us. We would always book him again it was a great time.

Fabulous tour, even better than we expected. Pin was our brilliant tour guide, he was extremely knowledgeable and attentive and his English was excellent. He took us to all the key sites and as well as giving an excellent tour to the key areas he allowed us as much time to explore by ourselves as we wanted. He also took some brilliant photos! We had a very nice experience with Mr.Thean, visiting different temples in Cambodia. We felt comfortable using private transportation included in the tour, the car was comfortable and driver was very accommodating. We learned a lot about the temples history.

We just finished a very nice private sunrise tour of Angkor Wat. Even though we booked the tour in the last minute, tour operator was very quick to respond with detailed information. Next morning, we met the guide Thean in the lobby of our hotel and started the tour right away. He explained the history behind the temples with details and lead us to the best spots for photos. He was excellent in guiding us to the locations and points of interest with nice flow and pace of walking. The driver of the tour was excellent as well. I highly recommend this half day tour if you are interested in Angkor Wat Sunrise. Thean was fantastic!

We had the small tour visit (Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm and Bayon ) at sunset with private guide . Fantastic experience made even more exceptional by our guide Pin, who not only gave us information on the various sites visited, but also explained the history of Cambodia in detail (even the sadly more recent one!!) allowing us to better understand the bond spiritual and cultural of this place with Cambodians. Plus Pin is a real photo wizard!!! he showed us the most suggestive corners and took some wonderful photos 😊.

This tour was perfectly organised by Thean our guide and Sambor our driver. They pick us up at 4h30 at the hotel and took us as planned to Angkor wat, then to the main temples including Bayon wat (with the Buddha faces), Ta Prohm wat (with the Tomb Raider trees) and finally Banteay Srei wat (the pink temple). The trip was very informative with the knowledge of Thean, who gave us a lot of information on what we were observing from the first minutes of the trip to the last minute at 13h00. To be definitely done to properly understand what has happened with the Hindus and Buddhists in this part if the world.

We loved everything about our tour with Thean (guide) and Sitha (driver). We were treated to spectacular views of Angkor Wat at sunrise, and were some of the first people to arrive at Ta Prohm, giving us lovely unobstructed views of the temple and the trees whose roots are growing into the stones. Thean explained the history of each of our stops in a clear and interesting way, and Sitha was always ready to pick us up at our exit points with cold water and a smile. Highly recommend!

We booked a tour to see sunrise at Angkor Wat with Pin and it was AMAZING! Our guide was super helpful and told us everything not only about the temples but also about history of Cambodia and could answer to each and thevery quesiton about the country we had regardless the topic. Siem Reap and all its temples are incredible. This is absolutely one of the most beautiful places in the world. Pin was one of the most amazing tour guides that I had the luck to have on my private tour. He is extremely knowledgeable and an Amazon storyteller. I spent one of the best days of my life.

Our tour guide Mr Pin was extremely useful. He speaks well and ir was easy for me to understand. He took time explaining providing the historical background and current work in preservation of artifacts. We started early with the sunrise and then followed with a visit to the Temple complex. He took time explaining the bas reliefs and the religious motifs derived from Hinduism. It was interesting to see its gradual conversion to a Buddhist site. The construction is mind boggling and hard to describe the enormity and our guide took time explaining the context He was extremely helpful with his suggestions on photography

Pin, is a very nice guide who knows lots of historical facts about Camboja and the Angkor Empire. He was helpful, polite and respectful the hole tour. I was traveling alone and he was really kind and a wonderful phootographer. Tks for everything Pin.

We had an incredible tour of Ankor with our guide Mr. Pin Vannak. His knowledge of Cambodian history, culture and of course the temples truly enhanced our experience and we couldn’t imagine doing the trip without him. Pin’s English was fantastic and he was so kind and willing to customize the trip to our liking - do not hesitate to book a tour with him, you will not be disappointed!

The temples are beautiful. What adds is the wonderful overview and explanation by Mr. Thien. We were history buffs and had a number of questions for him. All of which he was able to answer. Do not miss Banteay Srei, a true hidden gem!

Great guide for the Bayon Temple. He provided information I’d never know and made it ask the more interesting to visit this UNESCO site. I would definitely use him again.

Me and my friend were lucky enough to have Thean (bullfrog) as our tour guide for the Bayon temple. Thean was full of information and made our experience of the temple thoroughly enjoyable. He made the experience really fun while also informing us of all the history and some very interesting facts behind the beautiful temple. I would highly recommend Thean as a tour guide... we loved everything about the experience!! Ps he is also a great photographer!!

Our favourite temple visit was to the Bayon temple - the kind Khmer King Jayavarman the 7th, built this for his family. We were so happy to have Chen and his brother look after us on this incredible sunrise temple tour. His unending knowledge and enthusiasm for this famous Cambodian gem was a sheer delight. We highly recommend Chen as a trusted expert guide.

The company was recommended to us by another English speaking couple with kids and they didn’t disappoint. They were punctual and easy to communicate with. The car was cool and clean. Our guide was Mr Chen and he was very knowledgeable. He told us both about history and about best places to get the perfect angle for our sunrise photos. He was patient with our tired 8 year old too. We loved the experience with this company and we highly recommend it.

We had heard about Angkor Special Tours from work colleagues and we are so glad we went with them. Communication with Pin was seamless, and he and I worked together to build a customized 4-day experience for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids ages 5 and 9) that completely exceeded our expectations. On our first day in Siem Reap, he had Lee pick us up in a tuktuk (which had a cooler of juices, beer, cold water and towels!) and off we went to pick up our tickets for Angkor and see the sunset at Prerup. Everyone was wiped from a day of travel, so Lee recommended a grocery store to get snacks and things to take back to our hotel, and was a great ambassador for Cambodia and his area. Working with Pin on our entire schedule, he suggested leaving a bit later on the day of our big tour, to allow us time to have a bit more rest after a 35k bike ride the day before - his experience really shone through, helping us figure out which temples and what timeline would be most enjoyable for our family - it really felt like we had a custom-made program! On Sunday, we did a big day with Chen and Seena - Chen had spent 13 years as a monk, and we loved hearing him talk about the way Buddhism and Cambodian life are intertwined, and he never failed to answer our constant questions about the temples, current events, etc. He was an excellent photographer, capturing numerous great pics of the family, and he also had a fantastic sense of humor and was unfazed by our two very active kids! Pin himself handled our airport transport (on 2 different days) and was just such a resource of information, recommendations and genuine pride in his country - we recommended him to a family we met at our hotel and we will 100% be back and can't wait to catch up with Pin and Chen next time!

It is my second time in Cambodia and the second time I take a tour with Vannak. He knows a lot about Cambodian history and architecture. He took us to the best spots for views and pictures. If I come a third time to Cambodia, I will contact him for sure. Very friendly guide and a day with lots of culture. This tour is a must when in Siem Reap!

We had an espetacular day in Angkor Wat for The sunrise and Temple tour. The guide was really gently and has profound know-how about The cambogian history and temples. Recomend this tour for everyone searching for an unforgetable experience.

This tour covers all major Angkor temples, starting with Angkor Wat Temple at sunrise. Our guide Pal Chen made this tour an enjoyable learning experience, the best one we had in Cambodia. He has in depth knowledge of each temple, as well as Buddhist and Cambodian history. We had many questions and he answered all of them in detail. Pal also has a pleasant personality and is well organized, important to keep the itinerary on this extensive tour. He knows great locations for photos and helped us take nice panoramic views. Our driver Sombo was very courteous and was on time to pick us up after each temple visit. We highly recommend Pal Chen. He is an outstanding guide and accommodated all our requests, including our spending more time at the Pink Temple (Banteay Srei) and moving lunch later than scheduled. Pal was helpful in suggesting other sites to visit and things to do in Siem Reap. This private tour works better than group tours if you want flexibility in scheduling more time for areas that interest you more.

Before becoming a tour guide, Chen was a monk! He was one of the best guides during our 14 day trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. He spoke very clear English, took AMAZING photos for our family, knew all the right spots for pictures, knowledgeable, and great with our 10 year old son and 71 year old mom! Our driver, Barang, was also great and prepared for everything. We had a long and tiring trip with our 10 year old and arrived over an hour later too the bus station where Barang greeted with us with a great smile. Not only did he wait over an hour for us to arrive, he waited smoother hour for us while we are dinner at a restaurant he took us to (he was only supposed to pick us up from the station and take is too the hotel). During the tour the next day, he had cold water ready every time we saw him, extremely respectful and had a step stool out and ready as we entered and exited our private bus every time - the best driver during the trip as well! (Even had umbrella in case we needed it)

Our guide Pin Vannak was absolutely fantastic! We had a family of 8 adults, and we left very early in the morning and visited Angkor Wat and 8 other area temples. Pin was energetic and knowledgeable and answered every question we threw at him. I highly recommend this tour.

From the moment we were picked up Mr Chen was warm and courteous. He was there waiting along with our driver at the agreed pickup up time of 4:30 am. He took us to buy our Park Entry ticket and knew exactly which queue to stand in to expedite the purchase. We then drove to a special viewing point that he knows and he kindly helped assist my wife with the bigger steps (and throughout the tour). During our tour of Angkor Wat he provided deep knowledge of the history of the temples. He took brilliant photos using our camera from all the best angles. He shared insight into religious teachings which my wife as a religious teacher welcomed. We returned for our midday break and were picked up again at the agreed time. We were offered iced water and told it was available whenever we wanted. Again Chen shared his knowledge and took us around another set of temples and found a great viewpoint for the sunset! We both felt that it was an honour to have met Chen as a person and for him to have shared his knowledge and experience with us.

We had a great day with Mr Narith and his driver showing us several sights not only in the central Angkor Temple region as e.g. Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom (Bayon and terraces), but also the pink lady Temple and 'tomb raider' Temple approx. 30 mins away by car. Mr Narith did a great job providing us with detailed information about temples, Hindu tales, history of Cambodia and current life. Furthermore he guided us smoothly through the temples while keeping an eye an adjacent tourist groups. Thus we took sometimes shortcuts and arrived at prominent photo stops just in time before bigger groups. Also his driver did a great job taking us safely in a closed car from one sight to the next and offering more water bottles and cold towels at each stop. Thanks again to both for showing us that many temples in such a informative & relaxing way!

I had an amazing trip in Siem Reap, Angkor Wat. Tour guide, Bullfrog, was perfect, amazing guy, very professional, helpful, kind and very informative. You should all come to Angkor and meet the most friendliest people in the world!!! I miss you... But i will come soon to Cambodia...

Thean was my tour guide over a period of almost a week. He was prompt, courteous, friendly and relaxed throughout which made my time in Siem Reap ever more enjoyable. You could also tell from his demeanor and expressions that he was passionate about the place. Thanks to the excellent tour guide (Mr. Chen) and the well-planned tour, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Siem Reap. We enjoyed visiting Angkor Wat and several historical temples in Siem Reap. We also learned a lot from the most knowledgable tour guide who is also great to socialize. I was amazed with the depth of information he shared regarding the temples we visited, while also keeping the tour on schedule. The tourism company truly care for its guests; we were kept hydrated in the steamy weather of Cambodia by providing cold water bottles frequently as part of the tour. Excellent service overall! I can't say enough about how wonderful a tour guide Pal Chen was for me and my family. He was very knowledgeable about everything, from the history of Cambodia, to the history and creation/destruction/restoration of the beautiful sites, to where the best picture opportunities were and how to take them. We did the 1-day Sunrise tour with Pal Chen. It was a great day. Pin’s knowledge of all the temples and his home country was amazing and incredibly insightful throughout. Taking us on all the secret paths to get the best views and photos which he was more than helpful at and always willing to get photos for us, he even taught us a few new techniques to get the best angles.
