Viroth's Hotel

Absolutely fantastic. One of the best hotels we have stayed in. From the greeting to when we departed after a marvellous few nights stay in Siem Reap. Massive thank you to the reception and management staff, who always made a conscious effort to speak to you when you left and came back, no matter what the time. Genuinely felt sincere and warm. Always greeted on our return with a cold beautifully scented towel to cool down with or even sprayed with mosquito repellent before heading out to our evening meal. Great information and suggestions for places to go and see or organise/book trips through. Rooms were delightful and clean, cosy and spacious, with lovely views over the pool area and a nice patio abundant with beautiful, lush plants. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, even coming round in a morning to restock towels/water or coming at night to draw curtains and get ready for bed. There isn't a lift but staff would just take your cases for you. Has a dedicated tuk tuk or car service right outside the hotel to. Breakfast, again fantastic. Great choice of breakfast items including ready fresh made eggs, omelettes etc. Truly a wonderful experience and we were genuinely sad to leave! Highly HIGHLY recommended if visiting Cambodia and Siem Reap. Main airport is about an hour's drive away however the journey on route is fabulous to see as you go into the outskirts of the city. Angkor Wat is also 15 minutes away and you can organise transport through the hotel too.

To sum up, this hotel is perfection – and it’s rare to be able to say that. Attentive service from friendly staff who are always smiling and go out of their way to help, an excellent breakfast, a comfortable and beautifully decorated room that’s cleaned several times a day, a superb swimming pool and spa, and a very good location. It really is 5-star in every respect. Well done to all the staff – from the receptionists working both day and night shifts, to the front desk, housekeeping, spa and restaurant teams – who collectively go the extra mile every day to ensure an excellent experience that stands out from other hotels of the same standard. The hotel is very accommodating in finding solutions for us whenever necessary. It’s perfect. Thank you.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at, full stop. The staff are immaculately kind and anticipate every need before you even think to ask. It's rare to find a place that nails both style and substance, but this one does it effortlessly. The location is unbeatable: easy walking access into town, yet the second you're back through the gate it feels like a completely different, tranquil world. Genuinely great value for what you get. We can't imagine staying anywhere else in Siem Reap. Highly recommend.

Through this first encounter, we immediately felt the kindness, warmth, and hospitality of the Cambodian people. We have traveled to many destinations and stayed in numerous hotels, including some very luxurious ones, but we have never experienced such outstanding service. What makes Viroth Hotel truly special is not only the beauty of the property but, above all, its incredible staff. Every single member of the team greeted us with a genuine smile and kindness throughout our stay. From the breakfast staff to the evening team, everyone was attentive and caring. We were especially touched by the little details: offering mosquito repellent before each outing, asking how our day was, checking whether we enjoyed our breakfast, and always making sure we were comfortable. These thoughtful gestures may seem small, but they made us feel genuinely valued and cared for. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, spotless, and exceptionally well maintained. The rooms are elegant, comfortable, and perfect in every way. The food was also outstanding, with delicious flavors that exceeded our expectations.
