The Moon Residence & Spa

Booked a four-night stay at The Moon Residence & Spa as a couple, and overall it proved to be a fantastic, great-value base in Siem Reap. The Breakdown: • SERVICE & GROUNDS: As soon as you step inside, the staff give you a wonderful welcome and get you checked in swiftly. The hotel grounds are gorgeous with a real tropical jungle feel—heaps of lush greenery, very clean, and an intimate, peaceful pool area to relax by away from the road. There is an on-site spa and restaurant by the pool as well, though we didn't end up trying either during our stay. • ROOM SPACE & COMFORT: We stayed in Deluxe Room 108, which is up three flights of stairs, so anyone with mobility concerns or heavy bags would definitely be better off booking the ground floor. The room itself is massive—almost felt a bit too spacious and empty, though that is hardly a bad thing. The bed was really comfortable, and arriving to find my name spelled out across the sheets was a lovely personal touch. The room was spotless, with a nice balcony and a good overall bathroom. • PRACTICAL OBSERVATIONS: There were just a couple of minor things worth noting during the stay. The water pressure in our shower was consistently weak throughout the day, which might just be an issue on the top floor. We also used the hotel's laundry service at $3 per kilo; while convenient, the clothes came back slightly damp and needed hanging up in the room to finish drying off. That said, being only a 10-minute walk from Pub Street and close to local shops makes the location super convenient while staying quiet at night. Verdict: A lovely, great-value boutique hotel with lush tropical grounds, welcoming staff, and massive rooms—just keep the top-floor stairs and shower pressure in mind.

I like the plants here🌿🌱☘️🍀🍃🪴🎍🎋🌿 Really really beautiful here and it made me comfortable. The staffs were kind they prepared the welcome packages and the name towels for me:) And I forgot to check out and the keys they help me to collect my luggages. Wonderful place, clean rooms, impeccable service, and the utmost kindness from all the staff. Every request was always accommodated to make us feel comfortable. The food served at breakfast and dinner is top-notch. Logistically, it's extremely convenient. Our stay definitely exceeded our expectations. The staff were extremely professional and exceptionally kind: Pich, Tola, Lee, Len, Saly, and Phark. Highly recommended.

Excellent stay for the weekend. The staff was so friendly and very helpful. The hotel organised everything for us for a reasonable price - we had excellent massages in house, very smooth airport pick up and transfer. The room was very luxurious. The location was excellent - a short walk to the busy streets or a $2 tuk tuk ride. We did a small day tour organised by the hotel with Ms Lucky who was an exceptional guide! She was extremely knowledgeable and made the history of the temples come to life. She had perfect English and was very friendly. The tuk tuk driver was also very accommodating and friendly.
