Great hotel with nice, spacious and clean rooms. Nice people working there and very nice location close to everything. Highly recommend!

Really disappointed in this hotel having read many glowing reviews. It was barely functioning when we stayed. There was a skeleton staff. Breakfast buffet on the first morning was a few stale croissants some fruit and an option of hot food from a menu. On subsequent mornings there was no buffet choice of any kind. The spa and bar were closed but the pool was open. The decor is tired and shabby. The shower in the bathroom was dirty and untiled, with a poor shower head. This hotel is not at all like the pictures and reviews on line.
I had a very pleasant stay at Damrei Hotel. The bedrooms are modern, spacious, and extremely comfortable I slept well. While I encountered an issue with my first room with a lot of insects (i hope they improve this parts more) the staff handled my complaint professionally and immediately moved me to a new room that was just as nice. The hotel offers a perfect balance of a quiet, peaceful atmosphere while remaining close to the center of Siem Reap. Their responsiveness and the quality of the rooms make it a great choice. Highly recommended! I would come here again.
The internet access was very poor and practically unusable. I don't understand how a hotel can provide Wi-Fi of such poor quality in 2026. The property's best years are behind it. My room required refreshing, maintenance (the balcony door lock was broken), and certainly a deep cleaning.
I usually stay at the Tree Hotel for around $20 a night and everything there is fabulous. I only decided to try somewhere else because I wanted to treat me with a movie night. As great as Tree Hotel is, they chose not to equip their rooms, so I booked at Damrei. What a mistake. The hotel itself is decent, but the bed, was possibly the most uncomfortable bed on earth. I use to fall asleep at the dentist just fyi. When it’s 35$ per night, it’s not expected. Onederz hostel for 6$ has much better bedding by far. I booked two nights so I asked reception if I could change room. The receptionist not surprised immediately said they will add a mattress topper which made me think this is a known issue and fixable. But no slightest apology. At the end, the bed was still, very, uncomfortable. It was uneven, like holes here and there. Incomprehensible. I just gave up. When I checked out I expressed my feelings and I was just told the owner is currently equipping new rooms. Good ! Not a single apology, never. So a simple room change could probably have solved the issue. Unfortunately, not in their plan, I left speechless. Also when I arrived the TV didn’t work. Hopefully after 30 min with the nice night shift receptionist , he managed to make it work but only cable channels available. No basic smart tv, so no Netflix. Room 116
