place with historic interest, dating from the Florio family, now run by very friendly Liliana and Vincenzi Adamo. We went for a guided tour of the structure where wine and famous Marsala was produced. We also saw the vineyards tha Adamo family own and, last but not least, we tasted the excellent wine the Adamo family produce accompanied by bruschette, cheese, and olive oil on fresh bread. An experience not to be missed if you are in the surroundings!
We had the most incredible experience here in Sicily. From the moment we messaged Adamo bio, Liliana was friendly, professional and informative. We were welcomed with genuine warmth that made us feel instantly at home. Liliana was not only friendly but also wonderfully knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights into Sicilian winemaking and the family history in a way that was engaging and easy to enjoy. The wines were outstanding, the food was just as impressive: authentic Sicilian flavors, beautifully prepared, and perfectly paired with the wines. The best food we have tasted all holiday, absolutely delicious. We left with full hearts, happy palates, and memories we’ll treasure forever. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to experience the real essence of Sicily through food, wine, and hospitality.
Five stars is not an adequate rating to note the exceptional and authentic experience we had yesterday at the Adamo Bio with Vincenzo and Liliana. From the moment we drove up, we were greeted with warm and loving hospitality as though we were family or close friends. Vincenzo's tour of the historic property and his olive grove's and vineyards was fascinating and educational. Within the buildings, many original antiquated agricultural machinery that was used for harvesting and making wine is displayed, bringing to life Vincenzo's explanations of its history. Vincenzo's tour of his vast vineyards and olive tree orchards not only included what's involved in producing fine organic wine and olive oil, but also the history of his family in the area and the ancient Romans. Our tour was highlighted with the masterful culinary skills of Liliana's lunch, which included multiple courses. The delicious food kept coming! Her home cooking of family recipes of her mother, (along with Vito's cooking), was by far the most delicious food we have eaten. We truly felt like we were coming home to family and embracing us with their love. We did not want to leave this place. If you want an unforgettable experience that's an out of the ordinary touristy tour, but instead true authentic love and hospitality from a generational Sicilian family, this tour or any tour offered by Vincenzo and Liliana, is a MUST DO!!!
Overall we enjoyed the tour - it was an enjoyable experience followed by a great lunch. I will say though at the end of the tour we were rather surprised when the tour guide requested 100 euro transfer when we never requested that. The tour guide and I eventually agreed to 40 euro which in all honesty I should not have paid anything for a private transfer given a private transfer was not requested. I only agreed to the 40 euro because we were still an hour away from our destination and did not want to be stranded. I would ask the tour guide to update the booking because on there it says a private transfer can be requested. But if each group each time will get charged it, then that should be stated upfront. Besides that we had a great time.
Lovely day. Very interesting. Vincenzo was very passionate and informative about the farming and history. The chef was knowledgeable on all the local cuisine and dishes. All the food was very tasty. Delicious wines to try and buy. Really enjoyed our day.
An absolute highlight of our trip to Sicily. Liliana and Vincenzo have truly created a little paradise, and being welcomed into it was unforgettable. The wine tour was fascinating, packed with insight and charm — and a perfect way to work up an appetite for the incredible meal that followed at Adamo Bio. And what a feast it was! Every course was a celebration of local flavour and passion, perfectly paired with their own wines. It wasn’t just lunch; it was an experience – warm, generous, and deeply memorable. Incredible value for money, too. Thank you, Liliana and Vincenzo, for such a magical day. We’ll be talking about it for years to come. xx
Had an amazing time during the wine tour and lunch. Great food and wine and great hospitality! Lovely people. Highly recommend!
An absolutely delightful afternoon with Baglio Florio. We were late and they went out of their way to accommodate us with wine tasting, lunch, tour and history of their lovely Baglio. Had I known they offered a cooking class,I would have signed up for that also.
Authentic, fantastic, family business with amazing wine, home cooked food by Liliana and Vincenzo with great history to boot. Lovely place
Vincenzo treated us to a fabulous tour of vineyards, olive trees, farm, Baglio Florio and winery. Liliana and chef Vito served us delicious food and wine! The Adamo family is passionate about their historical family business of wine and olive oil making and we enjoyed eating, drinking and learning. Next time we will take a cooking class!
We have had the best day! We started the day with a tour of the winefarm, the yards and we even got to taste some of the grapes! Then we had lunch and winetasting, and we got so much good food , and amazing wine to pair it with. We got to meet the lovely people and workers of the farm as well! Would definitely reccomend this if you are traveling Sicily, or staying in parlermo or Alcamo. We took the bus from Palermo and then took an uber to get to the wineyard! We are definitely coming back in the future, and reccomending to our friends! Thank you for having us !
The food was out of this world. The 2 cooks sat with us and we enjoyed great conversation. The wine kept coming. We ate in many different places all around Sicily. By far this was the best food we ever ate . When we come back I would definitely recommend this to anyone!! Thank you for a wonderful experience ❤️
Vito! Amazing guide, the wineyard tour was interesting and fun! Then we drank different types of wine and ate a delicious lunch! Actually the best food experience so far in Italy as well.
WOW! Vito, Nadja, the food, wine, wine yard and the dog Poppy were amazing! The best place we've visited on this vacation! ❤️🍷👌
This was an amazing experience! Serene and historical with some of the best wine and food you could possibly ask for! I would highly recommend this experience for anyone traveling in Sicily.
Super easy and relaxed atmosphare where we got first known some details about the wine and Later by a long lunch we could taste a lot of really nice and good food with some super buono wine!! All familiy really so nice 10/10
Fabulous time with Liliana, Vincenzo and Vito. We learned so much about the region, wine, food and the culture. A must if you are in the area.
Fantastic experience, we were shown and explained all the history and process of making the wine. Vincenzo and Liliana were fantastic hosts. The wine was delicious and the food was incredible too. 10/10 will come back!
Unusual wine tour but really beautiful. It felt we were visiting family. Great history of the vineyards, baglio and the railway connecting the winery. The food was superb and the wines very different but great. If you are looking for the usual wine tour, don’t go. If you want a genuine, family style tour, this is great Thank you Liliana and Vincenzo for your hospitality 🍷🍷
This was a unique experience and discussion in wine making in Sicily, particularly in Alcamo. Vincenzo was fantastic and we really enjoyed speaking with him. Dinner was made by the wonderful Vito - who made sure we tried a range of typical dishes and wines and we left fully satisfied! Highly recommend and wish Vincenzo the best with the future of Baglio Florio and Adamo Winery :)
We did both the wine and olive tasting experiences (on separate days) and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Vincenzo is friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic and his story interesting. Add in Lilianna's cooking and you're onto a winner. The experiences are highly customisable, so would definitely recommend reaching out to the Adamos prior to the experience!
We came to Adamo for a Sicilian Cooking experience but it was some much more than just a class. My words can’t describe how much fun we had. Vincenzo described the building that his family has owned for generations. He descriptions revealed the charm of this historic building. You felt the history of the buildings come alive as you imagined the work that took place here over the years. Then Liliana gave us the most amazing cooking class in the courtyard of the buildings. It wasn’t just a class…..we felt like a family preparing our dinner. The meal was paired with some of the wines they produce which were excellent. We talked about the origins of the wines. It was truly an amazing experience. The price was amazing when you consider the experience, the quality of the food and the fine wine we enjoyed. We hope to return to Sicily and we would go again! I can’t stress enough the wines and the experience were incredible!!
The most incredible, in-depth tour of the vineyards and then a beautiful lunch with paired wines! The most idyllic setting as well. We even bought a couple of bottles and some Sicilian ceramics - absolutely perfect 👌
My husband and I booked this on a whim and had the best time with Vincenzo. We met him at the winery and he gave us a tour of the vineyards and explained the wine making process. Not to mention the food and wine we had for lunch was delicious and plentiful. Vincenzo and his family made us feel like an extension of his family and treated us as such. Such a fun/great experience - would highly recommend!
We visited the winery in the evening where Vincenzo and his wife Liliana welcomed us at the Baglio Florio for a wine tour and dinner. Overall, we had a wonderful experience which we will remember well. The tour is quite long as Vincenzo showed us the wine museum (which was very interesting but needs some refurbishment) and the vineyard fields. The tour was not informative at times, but we had a good time chatting with Vincenzo. Then, he shared with us some of the Adamo wines; here he gave a lot of information about the different wines and how they are made and we really enjoyed this part. Liliana accompanied the wine tasting with an incredible range of freshly-made food, from traditional Busiata to pane cunzato alla trapanese, from bruschetta with their own paste to other local Sicilian delicacies and sweets. We could see that the food was prepared from the heart and both Vincenzo and Lilian spoke enthusiastically about their passions.
This wine tour was 100% the highlight of our 10-day trip to Sicily. We stayed in Trapani and drove to Alcamo to meet Vincenzo and Liliana. Vincenzo gave us a beautiful tour of their winery and shared generous servings of their best wines. We also had a delicious Italian lunch, prepared by Liliana, that we will dream about for a long time. Thank you, Vincenzo and Liliana, for making us feel right at home. We will be back!
This was my favorite experience of my whole Sicilian vacation! Liliana picked me up from Trapani, gave me a tour of Alcamo, and then Vincenzo showed me around the vineyard. I ate lunch with their family and a couple other guests - some of the best food I had in Sicily! Liliana is an amazing cook; the arancine were particularly delicious, paired with their exceptional wines, olives, and food from their farm. I also learned so much about wine and olive production and history in the are. This is not an experience you can get in a restaurant; it's something really unique and special. I felt like part of their family for the day, and appreciated the warm Italian hospitality. I hope I am able to come back to Italy to visit again. Cannot recommend this experience enough!!
This tour was one of the highlight of our 2 week honeymoon in Sicily. Liliana and Vincenzo are 5* hosts and made us feel like part of the family. Vicenzo collected us from Marsalla, and hour drive away, and gave us a fantastic tour of the land between Marsalla and Alcamo, including a pit stop in Dattilo for their legendary Canoli. We were taken to the winery where the grapes were processed, give a tour of the vineyards then taken to the 1870 winery which was also the family home of the Adamo's. Vincenzo clearly has a passion for organic and bio agriculture haven taken the challenge of reinvigorating the family business in 1996,before organic, bio agriculture was 'trendy'. We were provided with a delicious home cooked Sicilian feast and taken through their vast array of amazing wines. This was a key passion for Vincenzo, bringing wine and good together as part of the tasting experience. We fell in love with Sicily during this tour and wish the Adamo's every success.
Great hospitality by Liliana and Vincenzo though we were very late booking the tour. Very interesting learning about the history of the place and seeing some of the fields. And the food was fantastic, local and all homemade, so delicious - and of course the wine we tasted was also great. All in all a wonderful experience.
Great experience with lovely Italian homemade food and wines! Vincenzo was a great guide and the tour of the wine-yard was amazing.
We had the most fantastic time with Vincenzo, Liliana and their family. It started with a tour of the Bio, the history of the Florio and Adamo families, and the old production methods for wine and Marsala. Then Vincenzo took us for a tour of the vineyards and the farms. After this, we sat and ate a beautiful Sicilian meal with fabulous ingredients (aubergines, tomatoes, peppers from their farm, meats from their friends, all local produce). Liliana and Vito put on a feast (more than our group of 6ft males could eat!) including homemade pasta, aubergine involtini, caponata, pepperonata, Salsicia, Cannoli…. and all paired with BEAUTIFUL Adamo wine. It was an absolute privilege to eat with their family, enjoy their company, and we had such a laugh with them. It was incredible. They are beautiful people, a wonderful family, and I wish that everyone has the opportunity to meet them. Thank you Vincenzo and Liliana. I’ll remember this forever.
Amazing wine tasting & vineyard tour. Vincenzo was a fantastic host.He drov us around and talked about the Vinyard. We then hada feast that Liliant prepared and we chatted over the delicious wines. Vincenzo talked to us about his family asking up about our lives and we felt like we were treated like we were family. The best wine tour we have ever done. ❤️ He even offered to have us stay with him that nice since we were staying 3 hours away! Sweetest person in Sicily for sure! We will be back!!! I recommend this 1000 of of 100! You will not regret it!
Amazing wine tasting & vineyard tour. Vincenzo & Liliana were fantastic hosts. Liliana cooked a Sicilian feast (there were four of us but enough food for twice as many) and we chatted over the delicious wine. We arrived at 6pm and left almost 6 hours later! The best wine tour we have ever done. Molto molto bene!!
Liliana (chef) and Vincenzo are the ultimate hosts at their historic site. We had a large group of four famililes visiting from San Francisco and felt very welcomed with a tour of their large and varied vineyard outside Alcamo, then outdoor (shaded) lunch at their processing facility, which is worth seeing for historical purposes. Having done tastings and tours in Napa and Sonoma Valleys in California, we were impressed with the Adamo hospitality. Liliana makes and serves fantastic food, just like my grandmother used to make for Sunday meals for the family, and the warmth from both of them is palpable. Plan to have a relaxed and unpretentious afternoon. Plus you can buy wines and olive oil to take home! We will be back.
We had a great time and a great lunch with very nice wines. Great people!!!!! The old winery is a bit of history worth seeing.
This was the highlight of our whole trip!! Vincenzo and Liliana provided the best experience and were absolutely amazing hosts. Vincenzo gave us a tour of the vineyard which was so informative and interesting, he even let us try an almond off the tree! The dinner and tasting itself was incredible. The food cooked by Liliana with produce from the farm was the best we had all holiday!! So authentic and delicious. We tried 6 different wines and a special Vermouth which was so much more than we expected. The wine was amazing, we had to buy some at the end to take home! Everything from the beginning to end was perfect, they made us feel like family in their home and we did not once feel rushed, it was such a relaxed and enjoyable evening. You won’t have another experience like this, would 100% recommend to anyone in Sicily!!
Best of the best wine tour we ever had! You have to come here to see the passion with which Vincenzo talks about grapes and wine production. The area where grapes are grown is beautiful and the house is amazing traditional Italian style. You can experience here great Sicilian hospitality. We really enjoyed our wine bags. In such a funny way we tried a wine from each tank:) After visiting the winery we tried 5 Adamo wines. We both like white wine but couldn't decide which was ours favorite. Grillo, Cataraatto, and Zibibbo are the best choice so just buy all of them! Here we have to thanks chef Vito for the best food we have tried so far in Sicily. Traditional Sicilian snacks tasted so delicious but the real star was Pasta Alla Norma. This food makes you happy:) Great people, food, and wine are all you need so don't leave Sicily without visiting this place. Highly recommended. Joanna&Marek
A must-do...the owner Vincenzo...an excellent, knowledgeable, and friendly guide...he led us and engaged us in a unique and pleasant way....Top Vincenzo, say hi to Uncle Rocco for us!!!
Exceptional estate visit, warm welcome, top-notch regional products meal, exceptional wines.
Warm people show you their passion in wine, oil and organic farming. After an interesting introduction to the surrounding fields wine tasting with very delicious food. We will come back.
Great warm welcome. Afterwards drive through the vineyards and olive groves with detailed vivid explanations into the heart of the estate to sheep, ducks, chickens, dogs and cats in peaceful coexistence - almost cheesy but beautiful! A Hihlight was the subsequent wine tasting with delicious appetizers from our own production - just a great experience for a fair price!
We took advantage of the tour with tasting thanks to an Offer of the TREASURE ROUTES, which included a small tour inside the beam, plus a tasting of typical products accompanied by wines all of our own production. Very interesting tour, delicious products like wines. In the end we bought some products sold in the small shop: the amazing nucatoli.
Today, 19/08/25 with my daughter Miriam: an unmissable experience! Thanks to Vito, Vincenzo and Liliana Adamo: super⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We lived a real sensory experience Dishes presented with great skill that cheered the taste and the view... all enriched by the stories of the Florio and Adamo family. Experience that we will always remember
Last May 27 I was with a group of friends at Baglio Florio Adamo. We have long wanted to meet Vincenzo and Liliana Adamo, heirs to the property and brave captains of a titanic entrepreneurial adventure. We were curious to discover this historical beam, important for the Sicilian economy of the late nineteenth century, its magnifecence, its grandeur. We wanted to admire its vineyards and impressive cellars. Liliana Adamo welcomed us with generous availability, guiding us on a visit that, starting from the places and testimonies, (one of them, think ... inside the beam, for the loading of grapes and must, the railway line reached the warehouses!) has retraced two centuries of history: from the Florio family to the Adamo family, from the entrepreneurial initiatives of Sicily in the last thirty years of the 1800s to the agricultural activities and organic crops of Vincenzo Adamo. You should see the barrels, the warehouses, the techniques used in the late nineteenth century and those in use today. It is an educational path, enveloping and exciting. What passion, what energy in Liliana's words and Vincenzo's testimony! And then the "farmer" lunch, cooked by Liliana and her family using only products from their company, prepared with care and served with joy and dexterity, a simple lunch but rich in traditional dishes, fragrant, tasty, delicious. And then the wine... just great, to try again, to take home. An experience that I recommend to everyone, extraordinary, unforgettable. Very good Liliana and Vincenzo. Long live Sicilian hospitality!
Magic place, great wine and great food. Vincenzo and Liliana, the owners, two wonderful people, kind, sweet, who pampered us all day. We'll be back. Giuseppe and Monica
Very cozy, rustic and family experience. Very good wines and cool old environment. Nice hosts and good traditional food.
We were really lucky! According to the program the day would have been dedicated to the sea, but the bad weather, for once, favored us, diverting us to the visit of the ancient Adam ex Florio beam. Welcomed by the owners who accompanied us in the visit of the Baglio, we experienced the innovative capacity of the founders Florio also in the wine business, illustrated with devotion and enthusiasm by the hosts Vincenzo and Liliana Adamo and their passionate collaborators, who continued and made it their own. An exceptional lunch for quality and variety of food and wine completed the stay. The farewell was typical of an affectionate visit between family members. Experience that has widened our hearts and that we wish to anyone! Sincere thanks to the Adamo family for their work and commitment.
What an amazing experience, Vincenzo Adamo Owner of the farm picked us up in Palermo and told us lots of interesting information all the way to the first stop at his friend Aldo Viola's vineyard for a fantastic wine tasting and tour. And Vincenzo's amazing freshly squeezed olive oil. Then we went on to Baglio Florio Adamo for a fantastic lunch served by Vito and Adamo’s good wines. The genuine craftsmanship and guest treatment cannot be described in words. We had a great day with lots of interesting information, good food and great wines. Would definitely like to go back some day and recommend those who are nearby to book a visit. A big thank you to Vincenzo, Vito and Aldo.
