The Tour starts with a visit to the first two caves in the north of the island and immediately after a beautiful swim in a bay with a view of the Castle, we proceed towards a renowned area (Cala Bianca) a cove as the name suggests with a white backdrop where diving you can enjoy an excellent view of the sandy bottom, proceed with the visit of two other caves (thunder and crib) and yet another called "perciata" where you enter from one side and exit from another, a thrill with exit breathtaking, still later you visit the area of the caves (small caves where you can enter by swimming) and finally the last swim before returning with a surprise ending.

Finally after days of mistral we manage to reach marettimo. Touring the island with Gaspare was one of the most beautiful experiences of our stay in the Egadi Islands. The most fascinating aspect besides the undisputed beauty of this wild island, is the passion and dedication with which Gaspare dedicates itself to its activity. He showed us corners and details that without his help we would never have grasped, transmitting the love for his territory that he knows in detail. His advice for possible trekking and land excursions were also valuable. It is a valuable contact if you really want to appreciate the island in its entirety.

É stata un’esperienza bellissima, super piacevole e rilassante. Il giro dell’isola è durato circa 3 ore e siamo riuscite a vedere tutte le grotte e anche a soffermaci nelle calette per fare qualche bagno. Lo skipper Nino é stato gentilissimo, una guida super, é stato anche molto piacevole ascoltarlo. Da rifare sicuramente!!

We took the boat ride with Gaspare aboard his blue moon. It 'was a fantastic experience because we were only 4 people on board and Gaspare, with his grace and his education, told the story of the island in a mesmerizing way. We went around with Gaspare and his Blue moon boat. There were only six of us so it was a great experience. Gaspare is a person who loves his island, his boat and his sea. He manages to convey all this to his customers with gentleness and politeness. We highly recommend him, he is a young person but with feelings and education of yesteryear. During navigation he explained many things and made us understand his respect for nature. We had wonderful baths in wonderful waters. Thank you Gaspare, Mara and Stefano from Rome.
It is essential to tour the caves accompanied by one of the authorized local boats. We used the services of Gaspare - Blu Moon boat - and we had a very good time. The tour lasts about 3 hours and in addition to visiting the caves there is the possibility of making 4 stops for swimming in unique waters (I didn't believe the colors of Cala Bianca could exist!). Cost 30 euros per person.
We purchased an excursion to Marettimo from Egadi Discovery in Favignana. Gaia and Filippo, the guys who managed our booking, were very kind, professional and available to accommodate our requests. There were 9 of us and they reserved a boat all for us driven by the "driver" GASPARE, an exceptional person: very nice, fun, cheerful, available with whom a wonderful feeling was born immediately. It was an added value to the excursion which was already spectacular in itself due to the beauty of the sea and the suggestion of the caves in some of which we had dream baths. An unforgettable, amazing day that ended with a friendly drink with Gaspare in a bar in the centre. If you are on holiday in the Egadi Islands it would be crazy not to do this excursion... but ask to get on Gaspare's boat ;o)

Thanks to my son who had already done it, we contacted Gaspare to tour the island and visit the caves. It was a wonderful experience! Only us and another couple, while crowds of tourists boarded the other boats. Furthermore, Gaspare is very empathetic, always smiling, ready for our every need. Long baths without looking at the time. No queues to visit the caves because we did the tour in reverse, precisely for that reason. Overall, an excellent experience and a truly competitive price. Highly recommended. Little advertising around but a lot of substance. Seeing is believing.

With whoever you decide to go around the island by boat (there are many who offer the service) you will be enchanted by Marettimo, by the many caves and inlets and, in general, by the breathtaking panorama of the mountains, seen from the sea, which make this isolates a unicum. Prices are affordable (on average 30/35 euros each) for a four-hour unforgettable tour. Recommended to do.

The boat leaves at 11:30, you should meet at the meeting point earlier. When we arrived at the stated meeting point at 11:30, there was no one there. So it's better to go there 15 minutes earlier. To compensate, we were offered a taxi service to a remote part of the beach. The beach was beautiful, but not what we wanted - after all, we wanted to see the caves. So all in all, a bit disappointing. The man was at least understanding and said he will change this incorrect information on Tripadvisor. Now I see that the meeting point is still 11:30 in the description, which is not correct, which is why I am writing it here so that others don't have to go through the same thing. Arrive at the stated meeting point at least 15 minutes earlier.
Unmissable experience with Gaspare Maiorana and his boat Blu Moon. We were a small group and did a complete tour of the island in the morning (apparently the colors are even more beautiful in the afternoon). Gaspare is a discreet, precise and punctual guide. Being from Marettimo and loving his island very much, he told us many things on a historical and naturalistic level. Being passionate about the mountains, he gave me numerous tips for hiking in these places. Thanks to Gaspare for his courtesy and his beautiful Blu Moon for making us discover corners of paradise, such as the unmissable caves and bays in which we bathed.
We had booked this experience to tour the island on Sunday July 30 but we made a mistake because the departure is from the island and not from Trapani. We realized this the day before on the 29th around 2/3 p.m., so we said to ourselves that too bad, it didn't matter, we just had to take a ferry to get there. The problem is that given the schedules we could have a ferry for the outward journey but the return, last ferry at 1 p.m. end of the excursion at 3 p.m. We then contacted the organizer to ask him what was recommended. No response, two days later, the day after the excursion on July 31, we received feedback that there was indeed no return shuttle... we were not contacted on the day of the excursion and had a return in 48 hours after the excursion. Very disappointed
Nous avons pu partir avec une mer agitée. En fait ce n'est pas trop gênant pour l'objectif. La balade vaut le coup pour les couleurs de la Méditerranée et l'aperçu de l'antre de ces grottes bien abritées et inaccessibles autrement, enfin je crois. Le boatdriver maitrise la mer et ses manœuvres. Vous verrez l'île autrement et pourrez décider pour faire des balades ou trecks.
Marettimo isola scoperta per caso e rimasta a tutti noi nel ❤️, vacanza con alcuni amici ,ci siamo deliziati con il trekking con panorami mozzafiato,alla scoperta di un isola selvaggia, verde nell'entroterra,suggestive le alpi. Dopo le escursioni passiamo a scoprire la costa con il nostro skipper Gaspare Maiorana Blumoon ,abbiamo fatto il giro dell'isola , visitando e meravigliandoci della bellezza delle grotte , descritte da Gaspare con la passione e amore di chi è nato su quest'isola , stupende le grotte del cammello ,la pipa. ,del tuono ,del presepe giochi e luci e colori armoniosi. Da non perdere tuffo a Cala Bianca (maldiviano) e tramonto accompagnati sempre dal puntualissimo e cordiale Gaspare , torneremo da ripetere di sicuro ❤️🤩🤩🤩🤩
Sicilia spaziale, Dolomiti a mare. Un isola selvaggia, con colori strabilianti. Abbiamo effettuato, io ed un amico, il tour di tre ore con Peppe Incaviglia. Persona squisita, gentile e garbata. Eravamo sconvolti da tale bellezza. Ogni grotta ci ha regalato tanto emozioni, per non parlare dei tuffi nelle acque cristalline e pure. Se venite a Marettimo guai a non fare tour in barca!!!!! Siamo stati fortunati perché abbiamo beccato pure bellissimo tempo. Marettimo ci sei entrata nel cuore.
Nell’ambito del tour intorno all’isola, l’effetto visivo di maggiore impatto e’ probabilmente rappresentato dall’ingresso nelle grotte: ne abbiamo visitate otto, la maggior parte delle quali situata all’interno della cosiddetta area A, il cui ingresso e’ interdetto ai comuni natanti. La piccola imbarcazione che ci ha ospitato era in grado di entrare in profondità, permettendoci così di ammirare i colori, le conformazioni particolari e le curiosità presenti nelle grotte. Nell’ambito del tour abbiamo anche potuto fare il bagno all’interno di diverse calette con acqua limpidissima (peccato, qualche medusa) ed ammirare i vari paesaggi che l’impervia isola presenta dal mare, oltre al castello, il faro ed pittoresco borgo. Escursione consigliata.
