Alessandra was a delightful, knowledgeable guide! She taught us some Sicilian terms and gestures, and entertained us with her travel stories. We walked through two open markets in the historical center, stopping at 5 restaurants for large portions of classic Sicilian dishes. We enjoyed hearing about the food and culture, and had a great time getting to know the other people in the group. We highly recommend this tour!

Dario was an excellent guide and packed all sorts of information into this tour. It was well paced with varied tastings, stops at notable buildings and visits to typical stores. The market area was very interesting and all the tastings were freshly prepared and very tasty- would highly recommend!

Our Sicilian guide was informative, entertaining, and enthusiastic about showing us around his beloved city of Palermo. We enjoyed his stories while savoring a variety of unique street food.

The guide was excellent and the food was amazing! We learned a lot about Palermo on the tour and it wasn't too long a walk (considering we had two small children).

Brilliant food tour hosted by Alexia. We went on the evening tour starting at 6. Great food, great wine & beer and lots of laughs, it really was excellent.

Alessandro was funny, very knowledgeable and gave us a lovely introduction to the city of Palermo and the food of the area. The spleen sandwich was a step too far for me but the rest was great and the gelato at the end was fantastic

Food was not what we expected for the price we paid. Try your guide was good, unfortunately, we did not enjoy the food.

Loads of food. Loads of walking. Loads of fun. The tour itself was 5* -Viator only 4*. Why? Mixed messages on the booking leading to confusion - helpful but inconsistent.

Dario was a great guide. He introduced us to foods we would never have found or tried without his guidance. He added history and local colar along the way. Would definitely recommend.

Disappointed, definitely not what I was expecting. Food was so oily, no napkins provided, just the tissue paper that greasy food was put on. Best thing was the gelato. Tour started at 11:30, first stop was at 12:15, too much time stopping at fruit and vegetable stands and talking about the groceries. Rest room stop was evidently only at first stop which should have been made clear. Have never been to a restaurant where there is not a restroom to use. I would not recommend.

Our guide Angelo was a great host for this must do tour. Really good way to see the historical quarter with all of its history and to find our way to these markets. Just the right selection of Sicilian food on offer with a bit of history to go with each. Group size of 12 was lovely with a good range of ages and nationalities.

This was the second time we've done this tour (the first being a couple of years ago). From this you can infer that we really liked the tour the first time and this time was just as good. A shout out to our guide, Maria Franca, who was charming and very informative. Her insights into Silician culture were particularly interesting. Oh, and the food was great!

Super fun 3 hr tour of the hidden “Foodie Gems” in Palermo! From delicious local wine, paired with unique baked goods to end the tour with gelato in a brioche bun!! Anyone visiting don’t miss this food tour. Maria Franco Todato was so knowlegble and we had an amazing time with her!

I don't know who chose the food selection. but it wasn't good for me. some of the foods are very greasy and no napkins were given. Our guide should have told us there were no bathroom breaks. it was a 3 hour walking tour.

Extremely informative and well thought out tour!! DO NOT EAT any breakfast before you go to the 9:30 am tour!! Made that mistake! Our tour guide, Simona, provided insight into why foods are prepared the way they are and the origins of how they came to be! Very enjoyable and filling tour!!

Outstnding overall. VinZ was super entertaining and informative as a guide. The three hours were chock full of stories and laughter. This street food tour gave us a wonderful introduction to the distinct culture of Palermo. Highly recommend and ask for VinZ!

I go on food tours everywhere I travel, and this one in Palermo was exceptional. The food was amazing, but honestly it came second to our guide, Vinz. He isn't just a tour guide, he's an entire experience. He even sang for us along the way, which had the whole group smiling and turned a food tour into a show. His energy and vibe made the whole thing memorable, fun, and educational, and I came away knowing so much more about Palermo, its history, and its food culture.
