The Drive to Taormina was just beautiful with our Driver Phillipo. The vehicle was like riding on air and he explained all about the area of Sicily and the people. He was very fun to talk to and he laughed with us a lot. The town Taormina is like you have stepped into a movie in Italy. So many cute shops and the view from there is unbelievable. We stopped at a restaurant called Granduca. It had a beautiful view and the food was wonderful. It took a little bit to have the maître D warm-up to us but we ended up loving him and the restaurant. Don’t miss taking this tour.

We could not have asked for a more pleasant and hospitable guide. Filippo was accommodating and well informed. He was the consummate professional. From the moment he picked us up from our cruise terminal it was a wonderful experience. Traveling with a 14 yo and 10 yo is always unpredictable, but Filippo made us all feel comfortable and both of my kids enjoyed the time we spent. He took us to beautiful places to take great photos and provided some interesting facts on areas that we drove through and were able to see. He allowed us all the free time for shopping, drinks and lunch that we desired. We never felt rushed and felt very safe and comfortable with him. On our next visit, we will be sure to contact him.

Amazing experience with our tour guide, Serena and our driver, Filippo. I coordinated everything through Filippo and he was very communicative in scheduling and asking us what time we’d like to be picked up. The day we arrived at the port, both he and Serena were waiting on us and sent pics so we’d know what they looked like and Serena was also holding a sign to make it easier to find her. Great experience with both of them as they shared a bit about themselves and also about Sicily. We spent the day with them visiting Taormina and we were able to not only experience the Sicilian culture and the beauty of the land, but also took a break and had lunch at one of her favorite spots for authentic cuisine. I don’t remember the name of the restaurant, but ask Serena about it. Not to be missed! Also, she was very good about explaining the history, architecture and culture of Sicily as well as finding some nice spots for pictures as well. Also answered all of our questions. We spent some time going to local shops for souvenirs and on the way back to the port, we stopped at a great panatteria (Serena’s recommendation) for a last-minute cannoli. So very good. Both were very personable and professional and we felt like we spent the day with friends rather than tour guides. Grazie mille to them both. Highly recommend.

A very nice private tour for my wife and I. Filippo was very communicative in booking the trip. We were so lucky to have Lillo as our driver/guide. Very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. On the drive to Taormina, we learned about Messina and the history of the island. We made a photo stop above Isola Bella on the way up. Lillo dropped us off right at the gate of the city center in Taormina and was right there waiting for us at the agreed pickup time. On the return to Messina, Lillo took us to the Duomo Cathedral and Astronomic clock, where he explained the scenes on the clock. Last stop was for cannoli. A great way to finish the day. Highly recommend this trip.

An amazing, unforgettable tour with friends. Filippo and Erika far exceeded any expectations we had and the scenarios we have seen made it all even better. Filippo is an excellent driver and Erika was really knowledgeable and thoughtful about everything we needed. The van was such a luxury, comfortable and clean. There are not enough words to describe!! Please put Sicily on your bucket list and book a tour with them, you won’t be disappointed!

We had a fabulous experience!! Erica and Filippo were so friendly and accommodating. Eric shared so much info on the history and life in Sicily, specifically Taormina and Messina. We had originally scheduled one of their private preplanned tours, but decided to make some changes as we went along and they didn’t skip a beat. They even arranged for a private cannoli tasting and made some extra stops in Messina. I highly recommend this team for their professionalism and hospitality. They are truly fabulous ambassadors of their homeland!

Taormina was amazing, a beautiful place and lots to see and do - public gardens, shopping, isola Bella, all well worth the trip. The downside was the price versus the value - we paid close to $ 1000 Cdn for essentially a taxi ride to and from the cruise port. Just not worth the $$$

Our group of three had a wonderful day in Taormina and Messina with our charming tour guide, Filippo. He is a great driver using his spotless van, and he went above and beyond to ensure that we had free time in Taormina and Messina to enjoy and the sights in these lovely towns. We just returned from a wonderful week on the MSC Seaview. We enjoyed all the ports, but Messina (Taormina) was my favourite. We pre-booked Filippo Spano Alvarez to drive us to Taormina and give us a tour. He was amazing and I highly recommend him. He picked us up in a very comfortable air conditioned van and spoke both English and Italian. Everything was pre-arranged and he made us feel very comfortable and at our own pace. I will definitely book him again on our next trip! 🚙 🚢😊

We enjoyed a fantastic ride with Filippo in Sicily during our cruise off shore stop. He drove us to the most beautiful sights, gave us as much time as we needed to visit Taormina, and even took us to some authentic local shops where to buy the real local stuff! I can only recommend Filippo's service 100%: spotless comfortable minivan, same price than other cab drivers were offering us upon getting off at the port.... So glad I had booked that with him in advance! And another plus, he speaks perfect Spanish as his married to a Colombian!

We were picked up at the port when our ship docked and had the best 6 hours with Giuseppe....he talked about the landmarks on the drive and he was so knowledgeable and gave us many stops along the way for photos and beautiful views....he took us to some places to shop and dropped us off in enough time to get back on the ship...It was a perfect day with a perfect driver and an amazing and trustworthy company!! The booking was simple, streamlined, even for further clarification, always available and fast in response. After being welcomed at the port of Messina, with a great nice vehicle (Mercedes of the latest generation-elegant and maximum cleanliness) made us live an unforgettable day. On the way to the Tour of Taormina, he told us so much about the territory and what we could see and discover directly with our own eyes. We were coming on the NCL cruise and in Messina port we found Fillipo's Service, it was an excellent choice, Fillipo speaks Spanish, is chatty, explains and advises on the sites. Overall it was very nice the trip. Recommended.

My family took the tour Taormina and Messina, July 11 with Filippo, clean car, van of 8 seats, picked us up at the cruise terminal, reliable person, respectful, kind and polite, took us to Taormina where we made a stop of 2 hours, after returning to Messina we saw the most beautiful places. We made a visit to Taormina with Filippo and were very pleased. Driving is reliable, the car is clean and safe and all agreed times worked.

The tour with Filippo was sensational. Everything worked out great from start to finish. Filippo organized a child seat for our 3 year old son and all 7 adults had comfortable space in his minibus. The main reason for us was the transfer from the cruise Terminal Messinas to Taormina. But Filippo enriched our trip with some photo stops and guided us safely and confidently through the sometimes thick traffic. We would book the tour with him again at any time, not least because Filippo is a very likeable and fun tour guide.
