While sailing along the coast you reach the Cave with Corals, a stretch of coastline characterized by several consecutive sea caves carved into the limestone rock. In addition to the main cave, continuing along the way you can admire other natural cavities, each with different shapes and colors. From the sea you can see the rock walls, the shades of the water and the coral formations visible below the surface, which make this area particularly suggestive. The Guide will illustrate the geological and marine characteristics of the area, with time dedicated to photographs and relaxation during the passage.
Avoid. We arrived on time, 20 minutes early, checked in and waited as instructed. Nothing happened. At the booked time we went back to the counter and we're told the boat had left. There were 3 staff and we waited right by the counter. They claimed not to have seen us. Refund offered but only online. Very frustrating as we followed their instructions. I recommend using an alternative company.
It was fabulous. The captain was an expert, his patter was funny, and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommended.
The boat tour around Syracuse, Ortigia Island, Sea Caves, and Plemmirio was one of the most fun days of my life. The views of the sea and coastline were phenomenal and I’ll remember the lovely ride forever. My son and some of our boat companions swam in an incredible sea cove with a gorgeous beach. Pictures don’t do justice to the real experience. Of the many Viator tours I’ve taken, I honestly think that this was among the best and I will tell all of my friends.

Our guide and captain, Corado (not sure of correct spelling) was amazing! The tour exceeded our expectations. We Traveled the coastline, rode 2 miles out and saw a dozen dolphins, went into a few different caves, and swam. This tour covered it all. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Must book if you’re in the area! This tour was fantastic value for the price. The guide was extremely friendly, and we were out there for ~3 hours. We saw a dolphin, and the highlight was getting to swim in one of the coves. It’s truly paradise and this is the best way to experience it!
I booked this same day and they were very responsive. The guide was energetic and knowledgeable plus did his best to push through the wind & waves. The two swim stops were refreshing and nothing felt rushed in the two hours. I highly recommend this excursion and the sights you’ll see!
The office is at the little beautiful beach in ortigia. I was with my 5 years old son. He loved it. Really nice people. Also the boat guide really trying to make the story. Nice swimming then nice grotto. The donky kong rocks is stunning and my son loves the go under the bridge. They made a special price for him. Fully recommend.
From the time we met up with our boat driver, they were so helpful and kind, very experienced and very knowledgeable, this made the whole experience a fun and entertaining boat ride.
We booked spontaneous a one hour boat trip around island Ortiga and caves. It was great. We also had a very nice and experienced skipper explaining everything. He stopped at a very nice place and who wanted could go for a swim. Saying that we’ve been very lucky as we travelled outside main season so not too many boats been around the caves. We also got sent a free foto out our boat 😀 I can fully recommend Dolci Escursioni
We had a little bit of a language barrier, but that did not stop us from enjoying the trip! The boat captain was very nice. So was the gentleman at the stand where we checked in.
In planning for our Ortigea stay, we knew we wanted to experience Ortigea from the water, not just on foot. (Note: many trips also trips include walking around Oritigea. Since we were staying there, we wanted to be only on the boat). There are so many operators that it was difficult to select one. Dolci Escursioni was definitely the right choice and the boat tour was one of the best days on our amazing Sicily vacation. From the start, communication via WhatsApp was prompt and consistent, answering all our questions. Although booked as a group tour, the boat wasn't crowded. Its hard to adequately describe the setting - magical, serene, dramatic cliffs, clear turquoise sea. Our captain, Franco, was warm, knowledgeable about the history and shared incredible swimming spots. As far as value, it was fair and so worth it. Grazie Mille!
Exceptionally kind, friendly service. After high winds and rough seas forced the operator to cancel my original trip with an opportunity for a swim, he offered me a discount and arranged a lovely hour long boat tour along Ortigia's coast with visits to the sea caves. The Captain's knowledge and skill were also excellent.
Our original tour was amended because of numbers, but we were informed in a timely manner and given a choice of a different boat tour, with a slight increased time difference, at no additional cost. We were happy to take that arrangement and thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Our search for some dolphin activity took us out of the harbour with wind and sea water in our faces, but the views were spectacular. Even though we didn't see dolphins, our captain slowed the boat down as we turned back towards the east coast of Siracuse, towards the caves. What a wonderful way to see Ortigia and Siracuse from a different perspective and really worth it. Bring a jacket, and expect a little sea spray as you race over the beautiful water. We highly recommend this tour.

A super experience! We were off in a nice little boat and the guide was very knowledgeable and told really well. Great atmosphere with Italian music on selected passages. We stopped at places and jumped into the clear water, where there was the possibility of some nice swims. We entered 3 caves and saw stalactites. Alt. I have a warm recommendation from here!

It was absolutely the most beautiful day of our vacation! The itinerary is perfect, with stops at breathtaking coves and water so crystal clear it looks like a swimming pool. Boat ride in Ortigia: not to be missed! Ortigia seen from the sea is a different story. Departure from Porto Grande and immediately in front of you the Maniace Castle that majestically emerges over the water. Along the promenade of Levante with the honey-colored Baroque palaces and the Fonte Aretusa surrounded by papyrus: from the ground it doesn't make it so. Your skipper takes the whole tour of the island: you pass under the Spanish walls, enter the sea caves where the water becomes transparent turquoise and reaches the lighthouse. Compulsory swim stop with dip in a postcard sea. Super friendly Syracuse crew, tells you curiosity about Ortigia while enjoying the wind and a glass of cool white. Slow pace, amazing photos, 2 hours flying.

Returning to Syracuse to spend a few days of vacation we could not me and my friends not to redo an experience made a few months before.Affidandoci Dolci excursions on a beautiful boat we made a nice navigation under the coast of Syracuse visiting several sea caves and for each the ship s attendant told us their ancient history.Poi a nice dip in the crystal clear waters and immediately after an aperitif that for us was more than a lunch.Abundant but above all all all everything delicious.Salumi and local cheeses and an excellent bread made in a wood oven.We spent a couple of hours in full fun.Thanks to Dolci Escursioni and all its staff.Arrivederci presto.🏊🛥️👋👋
