Sunset With Bbq Jeep Excursions

Hidden gem! This was a fantastic experience. Group of 4 friends and we had the most amazing time. Didn’t know what to expect and was blown away.

The pick-up in the jeep and watching the sunset was nice, and the guide was fine. However, the advertised BBQ is very misleading. You only get some bread and one piece of meat, definitely not a proper meal. There's also some wine and a shot of liquor, but that doesn't make up for the lack of food. We left hungry and felt ripped off considering the price.

Unique, authentic Sicilian experience. All of our family enjoyed it and the hosts were exceptional! Was a lovely time and we got to see areas off the beaten track. The food was amazing. One of the best things we did when we were in Sicily!

This was the most memorable experience of our trip to Cefalu. Great fun going off road to see the sunset from high, and then on to the chalet for an amazing BBQ and wine. Emmanuele and his wife were great hosts and made the whole experience amazing. Also shared the evening with another family who were great company. Worth every penny.

Views were beautiful and the tour guy was the friendliest guy I’ve ever met. He had beautiful dogs and the bbq itself was the best I’ve ever had. If I ever come back to Sicily this guy will be the first person i message. Everything was beautiful and very very enjoyable. Again thank you so much was the highlight of our trip!! Ps. you have the best music taste :)

Take a moment to step back from the commercial tourism and the hustle and bustle of the resorts and experience something truly unique and special. Emanuele is clearly passionate and connected to his environment. By far our best night in Sicily. We were lucky to have a lovely sunset to start the evening followed by the most delicious simple food cooked brilliantly, served with the best wine we’ve had all week. He was a perfect host and the chalet a magical setting to enjoy the experience and the stars. Would give 10 stars if we could.

Emanuele was a superb host. He was very informative, courteous and honest. The drive and scenery were excellent. The food and entire BBQ experience was perfect. This is not a touristy, shallow experience. This is the real deal. Bravo!!

We found another very unique experience, this time on Viator. It’s called “Sunset with BBQ Jeep Excursions” and we really loved it! Our terrific host/driver/cook Emanuele picked us up right on time and we headed up the mountain to the Madonie Regional Natural Park on a bumpy and scenic ride to the rustic chalet. There we met his two extremely happy dogs Rain and Ozzie. Emmanuel shared stories, prepared our appetizers, and cooked our incredible local pork (bacon, chop, and sausage). It was barbecued perfectly and tasted incredible. We socialized for hours and had a nighttime ride back down to town, avoiding the cows and wild pigs along the way. Special thanks to Emanuele for a very extraordinary evening!

We were fortunate to be the only 2 people to the tour the day we went so Emanuele could give us a one-on-one experience. I'm sure he would be equally good with a group. It's quite a ride up the mountain but well worth the trip. BBQ on a wood fire was excellent, with wine, etc. What a tour!

Emanuele was a terrific host for the evening. From the prompt hotel pick up to cooking and serving us dinner with a smile, he truly loves entertaining and hosting. We had a relaxing evening driving the coast of Sicily talking about the culture and of course the views from 500m up a mountain! Very nice time. Emanuele is a gentlemen. We suggest this excursion for a simple quiet evening.

Good communication, pickup on time. An adventurous off road trip, Emanuel tells all about nature and the animals , he is a true nature lover with a passion for food like many Italians😉🇮🇹. Later we had a great BBQ , anti pasti and drinks outside the cabin in the mountains arranged by Vincenzo and Emanuel. We also love his two dogs Rain and Ozzie. Very expensive for what it is Jeep ride up mountain, no sunset unfortunately due to low clouds. Then bbq - local meats and salad with wine. There were just 7 of us there so be prepared to socialise with the other guests as you are sat at the one table. Staff friendly and efficient with the food preparation. Nice but really expensive - I think this should have been £50 and £76 per person! If you do this trip, definitely take bug spray

What a view! I definitely recommend this tour if you don't want to miss a breathtaking sunset on Cefalù from Motta d'Affermo and the view on the Eolian archipelago. The expertise and friendliness of Emanuele and the driver makes it effortless to explore the local flora and fauna and enjoy a tasty BBQ with local products and wine, while still making new memories with your plus one(s).

This was the best night we’ve had so far in Sicily! The whole experience felt very authentic and unique, hosted by the lovely Emmanuel who made us feel very welcome and had lots of info to share about the area. Dinner was delicious pork and fresh tomato salad enjoyed with red wine. The chalet property in the mountains was beautiful and secluded in the national park and made it feel like a true Sicilian experience. We can’t wait to return to Sicily and experience more of Emmanuel’s excursions!! Thanks so much for the awesome night

It was a beautiful evening, the most impressive and beautiful of our vacation. Emanuele picked us up in Cefalù and we drove along the coast to the steep off-road roads leading to the incredible viewpoint. The view there is simply: WOW, pure nature. Afterwards we were allowed to spoil ourselves with antipasti and wine in his chalet. Finally, we had a freshly grilled fish, personally prepared by Emanuele. We are already looking forward to booking more activities with him in the future.

Emanuele and Carlo picked us up in Cefalu and we drove down the coastal highway and then up the steep roads to the top lookout for great views of the area and sunset. Then on the a beautiful cabin for beverages, appetizers and a fantastic barbecue over open flames. It was a perfect excursion and our hosts treated us like best friends. I highly recommend this tour.

We were picked up by Emanuele im the village. He then drove to the top of a mountain on (quite) challenging unpaved paths. The view is in one word: fantastic! Afterwards, a delicious bbq with local products, such as you do not taste anywhere. We felt completely at home and will definitely be back for more.

Es war ein unglaubliches Gesamtpaket. Die Fahrt, der Sonnenuntergang in den Bergen, das BBQ und vor allem Chappolito. Emanuel war super und hat alles perfekt gemacht.

Unsere Reise nach Cefalù war einfach unvergesslich, und ein wesentlicher Teil davon war der "Sonnenuntergang in Cefalù mit BBQ" Trip, den wir gebucht hatten. Unser Guide Emanuele war absolut perfekt. Von Anfang an hat er uns mit seiner Freundlichkeit und seinem umfangreichen Wissen beeindruckt. Er kennt sich in Cefalù aus wie in seiner eigenen Hosentasche und hat uns die schönsten und geheimsten Ecken dieser malerischen Stadt gezeigt. Der Höhepunkt des Abends war zweifellos das BBQ, das Emanuele für uns zubereitet hat. Der gegrillte Fisch war einfach himmlisch - frisch, saftig und perfekt gewürzt. Es war eine wahre Gaumenfreude und rundete den Abend perfekt ab. Wir können diesen Trip wärmstens empfehlen. Es war eine wunderbare Mischung aus Entspannung, atemberaubender Landschaft und köstlichem Essen. Ein großes Dankeschön an Emanuele, der diesen Ausflug zu einem Highlight unserer Reise gemacht hat!

Pleasant experience leading us to the top of a hill passing through a road that is at the very least dented... At the top a beautiful view of the villages perched on the hills around and on the coast. For the sunset, you have to come across a good day or rather not come across a bad one as was the case for us. Mood was very good thanks to the hosts but also the other guests because we were still 3 groups of 2/3 people. Get ready to trade, then. The barbecue was good but quite simple (sausage and local meat pieces with only tomatoes and wine as side dishes). We recommend this experience if you want to escape a little from the madness on the coast especially in Cefalu which is crowded in summer but do not wait any longer for this moment because the price is a little excessive (!) for a jeep ride, some comments of the landscapes and a simple barbecue.

The experience was beautiful, Emanuele is very nice and very professional. The group is very small to enjoy the excursion. Breathtaking views and delicious food, the evening ended stargazing. I highly recommend this experience for a different evening in Cefalu!
