Michele gives a fascinating tour of the Valley of the Temples and the museum. He's very knowledgeable, full of facts and interesting tidbits of information and presents it all in a very relatable way. He mixes the ancient with the modern which really contextualizes the history. He speaks English fluently and without an accent. He makes the place come alive! Highly recommend him!!
We found Michele Gallo through the Rick Steves Sicily travel book. Michele was very easy to work with- contacted us quickly through email and whats app. He arranged for Carmelina to take us through the Valley of the Temples. It was well worth the money to have a guide. The site is large and its hard to understand the interaction between the various temples on your own. The site was closed the day we were supposed to go due to storm damage. Michele notified us the night before, as soon as he learned of the closure. He was able to make arrangements for another day so we did not miss this stunning site. Excellent customer service!
Michele gave us a very interesting and well-informed tour of the incredible arcahaeologic park at Agrigento. It really made the ancient city come to life - very well worth the cost.
The comprehensive and knowledgeable guide left us, however, at the Telamone at 7:33 PM, but we had started late to wait for tourists who were late; he indicated how to get to the Temple of the Dioscuri, which I believe is part of the guided tour, and without precise directions we found ourselves at 7:50 PM at the fifth gate and at that point we had no choice but to call a taxi, so much for being accompanied back to the meeting point.
Regarding the experience itself with the guide Calogero, nothing to say, simply fantastic. Mr. Calogero was extremely good and precise in telling the history of the Valley of the Temples. Regarding the booking on Tripadvisor, I believe that the description of the experience is not clear because the entrance ticket IS NOT INCLUDED, so it would be better to write "guide" to the Valley of the Temples instead of "visit" because if you do not read the details well, the title can be misleading.
Perhaps a bit of disorganization at the beginning among the various guides. Despite it being September 18th, many people at this time. Kind guide. The place is unique!
We visited the Valley of the Temples at night; it was a very beautiful, interesting, and evocative experience. I recommend it especially if it is a very hot day.

We were at the Valley of the Temples on the evening of July 29. There were 14 of us in total, including 5 children from 10 to 7 years old. Simona, our guide, knew how to lead us with friendliness and professionalism, winning over even the little ones, who still in the following days referred to what we had seen and heard.
Very good tour by Ilaria. Interestingly told. You walk back to the car; this time is of course not included. Certainly more pleasant in terms of temperature towards the evening.

It was a magnificent experience. Our guide, Calogero, explained everything in detail and conveyed his passion for these wonderful places. The walk, at the edge of sunset, was pleasant and never tiring. I highly recommend taking a guided tour like this one. You have to be careful because they sell you the experience as if it included the ticket and when you get there you have to buy it. In total we got 90€ both. Sounds like a shock to me. The only good thing guide Alessio

People who walk more than enough (no elderly and children) must go there. Beautiful temples and recommend around 17.30 / 18,00. We were a group of four families and, at the end of July, at 17:00, we took part in a guided tour of the Valley of the Temples with Simona: we could not have made a better choice! The time proved perfect to face the summer heat, and Simona was an exceptional guide: prepared, passionate, attentive and always respectful of the group times, especially considering the presence of small children. With great empathy and communication skills, she managed to involve everyone — 10 children and teenagers and 8 adults — keeping attention alive from start to finish. The younger ones, initially a little reluctant to the idea of a guided tour, then defined it as one of the most beautiful experiences of the entire holiday in Sicily! Thank you very much, Simona! If we come back, we will definitely try to make another visit with you!

I visited the Valley of the Temples on April 15 with my husband and two teenagers. The Edi guide was not effective due to the flood of extra information it provided, it diverted us from the visit and we were not satisfied.
We visited the site at 5 p.m. We were lucky enough to be just our own group of 4 people and a very nice and nice couple. But the greatest luck was to be accompanied by the talented Archaeological Guide Paola Bibiana. Very competent and able to keep the attention awake for all two hours. We also visited the catacombs. Truly an unforgettable visit! Thank you Bibiana!

Bellissima la Valle dei templi e molto brava la guida Simona. Il prezzo assolutamente non adeguato non comprendendo il biglietto! 90 euro invece di 60 acquistando tutto in biglietteria sono decisamente troppi!
Abbiamo fatto visita guidata al pomeriggio 17:30 con Salvatore , una guida preparata, simpatica , che riesce a catturare l’attenzione di tutti persino dei ragazzi più giovani e mio figlio di 15 anni e’ rimasto incantato dal suo modo così semplice e soprattutto con la passione di chi ama il lavoro che svolge !

My husband and I took the tour of the Valley of the Temples at 7.30 pm with the guide Calogero. Perfect time because you start with light, witness the sunset and finally see the illuminated temples: really exciting!!!! Then the temperature is perfect, while during the day it must be very very hot because the path is all under the sun. Inside there is a bar with sandwiches and ice cream. Calogero great guide, I contacted him directly through wathsapp and he responded immediately. Consiglio a tutti di fare questa esperienza!
Ilaria, our Guide, made us appreciate the wonder of the temples, with clear and engaging explanations, despite the temperatures! The colors with the setting sun are priceless.
Beautiful experience, avoid the hottest summer hours and prefer the evening hours, where temperatures are more tolerable, you can admire the sunset and the play of lights and colors among the ancient ruins!
Purchased visit with VIE DI SICILY. Visit of 2 hours and a half in the evening with the super guide Calogero, fantastic speaker on the history of Agrigento and its antiquities.
