A bit of history as well as plenty of food. I tried lots of things I wouldn't have otherwise known to try. Our guide Vinz was a lot of fun.

Informative, entertaining, and most of all delicious!

This was an amazing food tour.! The meeting point was easy to find and so was our guide Vinz with his red umbrella. Vinz led us thru the streets of Palermo telling us the history and stories of Palermo that made it all come alive. He is smart, funny and he can sing and dance into your heart. The food was thoughtful, local and more than expected. I am a vegetarian and each stop had a delicious option for me! example bruschetta/aranchina/eggplant pizza to name a few! Be sure our meat eaters were very happy with their offerings as well. All stops were ready for us excellent seating and friendly. A number of stops offered beer and wine. Try not go eat much prior to the tour you are going to sample amazing local food and lots if it! The walk was casual and easily doable for all. Vinz made sure we all knew how to find our way back to our hotels before departing very caring. I am a solo traveller and felt very welcome and included in our group. lI have travelled extensively and this was the best food tour yet. Thank you Vinz for one of the best food tours!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an incredible way to experience Palermo! Alessandra was an amazing guide who took us beyond the typical tourist spots and gave us a genuine look into the city’s history, culture, and incredible street food scene. We visited some wonderful local spots, including Palermo’s oldest bakery and oldest bar, while sampling everything from wine and arancina to green onions wrapped in bacon and the famous pani câ meusa (spleen sandwich), which, surprisingly, was delicious! But what made the evening even more memorable was the company. I started the tour with seven complete strangers and walked away feeling like I’d spent the evening with old friends. There’s something pretty special about sharing good food, a little wine, and plenty of laughs with people you might otherwise never meet. Alessandra was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire experience feel relaxed and authentic. It was the perfect mix of history, food, and getting a behind-the-scenes glimpse into Palermo’s street food culture. If you’re visiting Palermo, I absolutely recommend this tour. Come hungry, bring an open mind, and don’t be afraid to try the spleen sandwich!

Dario went above and beyond. At each stop and along the way, he took the time to provide extra information and education about Palermo that was both historical and cultural, even if not related to the food. It felt like a tour of Palermo with the food as a plus. Portions were more than reasonable, all the food was tasty and we had more than enough to drink of beer, wine, and water at each location.

It was great to get off the beaten path out of the tourist area and eat what locals have as street food. Plenty of variety, lots of food and a lot of info about Palermo from a passionate local guide, Simona. Definitely recommend this tour.

I’ve done many walking tours and a few food tours, and this was a great combination of both. Dario took the time to greet us and was never in a hurry or rushed. We visited six or seven spots and had mostly very tasty food. Best part is that he took us to places filled with locals that I would never have found on my own. And Dario was filled with information about all things Palermo. It was a great evening

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great way to experience Palermo on a short stay! We were only in Palermo for one night, so this tour was the perfect way to explore the city by night while trying foods beyond the usual things we would have chosen ourselves. Alessandro was friendly, welcoming and easy to find with his umbrella and bag. A couple of small suggestions: the meeting instructions say to meet on the steps between the golden lions, but the gates are closed for the evening tour, so you actually meet outside. It would be helpful to clarify this. We also would have appreciated a little more flexibility with the food and drink options. I chose not to try the spleen sandwich but wasn’t able to have even a plain bun or alternative, and there was some inconsistency regarding whether Coca-Cola was available as a non-alcoholic option. Overall, though, a great experience and an excellent choice if you have limited time in Palermo and want to experience the city and its street-food culture in one evening! 🇮🇹

Apart from a wee hiccup at the beginning where the link took us to the wrong location (close but not correct!) everything was great. They did answer the phone and direct us so no harm done. Our guide Vincent made the tour with his enthusiasm, charm, passion and knowledge. The food stops were varied, no we didn’t like everything but we went for the experience which is what we got and nobody left hungry.

A great opportunity to learn about Sicily tradions and history with a glass of bear and great street food. Our gide was Dario.

Great experience and well worth the money. A really good way of seeing the city and learning about history and culture, also a really good way of trying local foods and there was plenty of food and drink stops along the way! We were full by the end!!

Sadly, I do not remember the name of the young woman guide we had. However, she was fantastic! She was engaging with all members of the tour that evening. She gave alot of information about the various sections of Palermo and the history behind the dishes we ate.

Our guide Simona was excellent. We visited restaurants very much off the beaten path (non-touristy), ones we would not have found were it not for the tour. Simona provided the history of the foods, as well as the ingredients and how the dishes were prepared. The tour afforded enough time to visit with the other guests and to ask questions. Each stop provided as small or as large a sample as desired and by the end of the evening, everyone's appetite was more than satisfied.

The tour was a good starting point to our Sicily tour. It was not just about street food but a lot of the city and culture in general too, loved every bit of it and would recommend this to everyone who is in Palermo and wanting a glimpse into the food and culture of the city.

If you want an authentic Sicilian street food experience, this is it. Maria Franca, our leader, was bright, informed, enthusiastic and professional. We had so many delicious and varied tastings, each with a tradition and history. I make a habit of doing a food tour in every new city that I'm in and this one goes down as one of the best ever.
