Peter was an amazing driver and host. He was so knowledgeable and answered all our questions! He was lovely to talk with, and we felt a comfort and a genuine interest from him. The pacing of the trip was relaxed with a perfect overview of what we were going to see next. We really enjoyed the “ free time” and the opportunity to explore at our leisure. We had our own driver in a nice car. Our driver was so great taking us with clear instructions throughout the day.

Excellent tour from beginning to end with lots to see and experience. We were very fortunate to have Peter as our driver. He was polite, pleasant, friendly and very knowledgable about the places we visited which made our day worthwhile.

My friend and I had Peter as our driver to visit these 3 towns. We enjoyed all of the towns very much not only because of the rich histories but also because of Peter. Before arriving in Sicily, we heard that people in Sicily don’t speak much English and we experienced that with our other tours. But with Peter, he was very kind and introduced us to the sites we visited. He didn’t rush us and we learned a lot about the sites we visited. He is knowledgeable and kind! I truly appreciate his service! Thank you, Peter!

We had a fantastic tour with Peter to these three wonderful places. Peter was a great & safe driver and a made the trip very personal and rememberable. The pick up at our appartment in Catania was absolutely on time and we had enough time to visit the Archeological Parc of Neapolis, Ortigia and Noto. Peter made an introduction to these places and accompanied us at the walks through Ortigia and Noto. On the return way he made an extra stop at a beach to show us his preferred place. Overall we had a great time not only visiting great places, but also having wonderful talks through the day. Thank you Peter for that experience!

Visiting Syracusa, Ortigia and Noto makes for a full and very interesting day. Our driver Peter was amazing, friendly, professional and caring. It is a highly recommended excursion!

We booked the Syracuse, Ortigia and Noto trip, out of Catania. Our driver Peter was amazing and really made all the difference! Friendly, polite, punctual and knowledgeable, he made sure we had a wonderful day! The van was in mint condition. We highly recommend this trip!

What a great day! We were picked up within a 2 minute walk in of our hotel by a friendly driver and travelled in a nice Mercedes van. Our driver gave us a little in for Marion about where we were and where we were going, and as well answered all of our questions. Note that your guide does not take you through the Syracuse archaeological park which we did self directed and was very easy to work out. I read up ahead so it was pretty self explanatory. We then went to Ortigio where we met our guide, toured through Ortigio and then had some time to wander around and go for lunch. Then it was off to Noto where we could walk with the guide or walk around self-directed. Noto is very compact (historic centre) and we walked on our own. After about 75 minutes we were satisfied. Our driver picked us up exactly where and when he said. It was then time for the drive back to Catania. Our driver gave some recommendations for restaurants to try. He then followed up with a message with the restaurant directions as well thanking us for booking. All and all it was a lovely day. Both our driver and guide were knowledgeable and courteous, and both spoke great English well. I would recommend it. It was a great trip!

This was just a driver not a tour. I think we expected more. Driver just left us at Syracuse archaeological park without any explanation. Found Ortigia disappointing. Noto is really beautiful though.

Alessio was punctual in picking us up near our hotel. We toured Syracuse, Ortigia, and the quaint city of Noto. We had plenty of time on our own to look around and shop. Highly recommend!

Great flexibility when you are a party of eight. We got everything we needed from this trip. Carmelo was terrific

I am glad some people seem to have had a positive experience. Unfortunately we did not. The ad presents as if you're going to have a guided experience with an expert. What we got was a driver who gave us misinformation and little else. The tour was so subpar that we decided to leave halfway through and take the train instead, which was a great improvement. You are just paying for a driver, which is not worth the substantial cost.. For significant fraction of the price, we recommend taking the train. Ortigia was beautiful and recommended.

We did not have a tour guide in Syracusa. We were dropped off at the archeological park. It was very interesting. I wish we knew to get a headset when we bought our tickets. Thank goodness for AI. That was our tour guide. Next was Ortigia where we met another group and the tour guide. The tour guide was just ok. His back was mostly to the group. We tried to take turns walking next to him so we could hear something. We were disappointed. In all fairness, he stopped a few times and did talk to the group as a whole but not very informative. We did see historical and beautiful places. Next was Noto. Our driver Carmelo was great! He walked through the town , gave us some history, told us where to get the best Granita’. Then told us where to walk to with an hour of free time. He drove us back to our pick up point and guided us back to the highway. He was really great and very kind. Overall we were disappointed with the tour guide. We took many tours while we were in Sicily and this was everyone’s least favorite.

Nice visit to three destinations. Our tour guide was lovely. They are not permitted to guide through the archaeological site but more historical information would be nice. The commentary in the two other cities was helpful.

A very scenic tour that explored the many layered history of Sicily and its waves of settlement from all over the Mediterranean. Our guide, Alessio, was extremely knowledgeable about both the history, geology and culture of the region.

The convenience of hotel pick up and return made this tour possible! Made it so easy for someone with mild mobility issues! Our tour guide Gianmarco was fabulous, informative and fun!

Absolutely a great tour- but our guide Gabrielle was excellent and exceptional. He gave his all and made extra exceptions for us.

We were not expecting a guided tour but had one in all three spots. He knew everything about everything!! Spent time explaining all details. Our driver was very well versed in where we were going and what we were seeing also. This tour was fantastic:)

This tour was wonderful and our tour guide Gianmarco, was exceptional! He answered all of our questions and provided so much important detail regarding the culture and the sites that we were seeing. We were all very pleased. Word of warning: we took this tour at the beginning of March and there were several places that were still closed for the winter.

This is a great trip. Carmelo was on time and picked us from our hotel in a comfortable Mercedes van. The whole group was 6 persons only so it wasn’t crowded which I liked a lot. We went to Noto first and I enjoyed the scenes and narrow streets iof Noto. I also bought delicious pistachio cream from there. After spending 1:30 hours which was more than enough, we went to Siracusa where we enjoyed a stroll in the archaeological park. After which we sent to Ortigia and had lunch there. The only thing that I didn’t like is that we received little to no explanation. I thought this was a guided tour but unfortunately we were not offered enough information by Carmelo and were left to wander on our own most of the time.

Walking through the small quiet town of Noto was the highlight of the day. Also, our guide was very informative, especially while walking through Ortigia. He also recommended a very good place for lunch.

The Neapolis at Siracusa was amazing. The markets and seafront lunch in Ortigia were fantastic and the baroque churches in Noto were superb.

Alessio was a fabulous guide! He shared so much knowledge with us! Our favorite part of the tour was Ortigia! I would have given up seeing Noto in order to spend more time exploring Ortigia!

Lesson was an amazing & attentive guide. He handled the G7 Summit parking issues like a champ! Beautiful part of Sicily. Would highly recommend a trip to Noto at least

Wonderful trip with good company and good site seeing. Went to see Syracuse which is very historical and artistic. Went to Ortigia and had a wonderful panini and good shopping. Went to Noto which also is historical and picturesque

Nice pace. You see a lot for the money but most of all are spared driving in the combative streets of Sicily! My driver Carmello was great. Don't expect to get a tour guide experience - you can pay an on-site guide. Admission to historical sites is also extra - and worth it. Lastly, it's hot and you will be walking a lot. Wear comfy shoes, stay hydrated and manage your energy. Older or infirmed guests may struggle in some areas so know your limits.

Tour date: 09/14/2024 Most memorable: Noto Gianmarco was an excellent driver and guide. He is very knowledgeable, passionate, and kind. Learned a lot about the history and architecture of the three areas. Noto was my favorite. Less crowded, not overly priced, stunning buildings, great food, market. Glad I went!

Our Driver alessio was amazing ! He was knowlegable, Kind and really payed attention to every thing! I recommend this tour it was so beautiful in every way our day flew by and we were so happy .

A fantastic tour! Our guide Gianmarco was an incredible guide. He gave us lots of information about the history of the area, recommendations and there was just enough time in each area.

We ended up having a private tour as nobody else joined our party. The driver, Carmelo was very knowledgeable and helpful. He showed us the best shops to buy food and souvenirs and these three stops/ places were so beautiful .highly recommended and thank you again Carmelo

Excellent small group trip with Alessio. He gave us lots of information, and a great balance between guiding and letting us have free time. Noto was incredibly beautiful and a great place to wander around. Ortigia was lovely as well. The archeological park at Siracusa was really interesting and enjoyable. Comfortable minivan w AC to get us from place to place. Highly recommend this excursion.

Gianmarco was an excellent driver and guide! He was friendly and pleasant to chat with on the drives between locations! This tour was nice as you get a mix of ancient sites and the historic centers of Siracusa and Noto! We had lunch with Gianmarco where we had the opportunity to try authentic foods specific to Siracusa!

Good places to visit with a lot of history. The guide Rustian was very informative. Bit of a delayed start to our trip due to a mix up with pick ups. Not the fault of our guide but it did have a knock on effect. I do not think we had sufficient time at the last stop. We did not manage to see everything in the Archaeological Park which was disappointing. Could have done with an extra 30 minutes at least

Brilliant day!! The tour company was incredible in accommodating us after we missed each other first time around!! Rustian was an amazing guide!! He looked after us perfectly! Sincere thanks to everyone for such a great day! Fyi- we were staying in Recagnati- very easy to get to central train station in Catania with 1 bus in under and hour, so please don’t be intimidated by the commute well worth it!

Tour was especially helpful in being able to experience these exceptional areas. Our tour was part of a 2-group 2-guide tour . Our guide, Marco, was excellent; highly recommend him. The main guide continued to smoke while walking in front of us. That was the only disappointment.

I really enjoyed this tour. The tour guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and experienced. They comfortably led a diverse group. For me, this was a perfect experience because it provided a balance of directed time and free time. Several options were given for our free time. I’ll have happy memories about this trip.

Ortigia and Noto - enjoyed the beautiful architecture -the archeological park was not worth the cost of entry.

This was a great day trip from Catania! Alessio really knows the history and highlights to ensure you don’t miss the good stuff. There was a little time to explore on your own, which was also perfect. Grazie, Alessio!

Rustian was very welcoming and knowledgeable in every city we went to from best places to eat to the history of each town/city/building. Ask for him by name!!!

We enjoyed the historical commentary from our guide (Alessio) and the Siragusa walk experiencing the ruins. Also we like Oritigia and seeing the temples and had nice authentic Sicilian street food. Neto was rainy but we learned about the flower festival in May and ate great gelato!

It was such a wonderful day ! Alessio was so knowledgeable about the villages we saw and about the history of Sicily . He explained every detail and he truly loves what he does. It truly was an amazing day !

We lucked out and another group ended up cancelling, so we had a private tour the entire day. Alessio was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable about the whole tour. Giving us so many little details on the history and why certain buildings was so special! At the end of the tour, he gave us an amazing recommendation for dinner in downtown Catania! Highly recommend this tour and ask for Alessio to be your guide!

This tour was well-paced, with just enough time at each stop. I never felt rushed, and appreciated the information provided by the guide on the way, which helped me make the most of the experience. The driver/guide was knowledgeable, and responded well to the particular interests of each member of our small group. His warm and friendly attitude made the day special.
