The food and wine were exceptional! Our chef was so good to explain how things were prepared and he told us about Sicilian culture. We definitely recommend this experience.

Had a fantastic evening having dinner, the host was very accommodating and met some amazing people during the dinner. Food was fantastic. My booking was able to be rescheduled to the next day as I was unwell and couldn't make the original booking, this was a relief and am glad I never missed this experience. Would recommend, a night to remember.

A truly delightful evening with the Chef in his home. The food was amazing and he has an awe inspiring view of the city from his beautiful terrace. When he Learned that we were celebrating a birthday he had a candle in the dessert and we sang happy birthday . An amazing chef and an extremely kind and thoughtful host , we will always remember this experience. He even found a taxi for us when our taxi service was busy.

Fulvio is an amazing chef and an even better host. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed into his home. The local, seasonal food was outstanding, and it was a privilege to experience Palermo’s culinary culture through someone who is clearly a local institution. A fantastic and memorable way to end our Sicily trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening with Fulvio. The 4 course Sicilian meal was delicious. It was a delight to just relax and have an interesting conversation on a variety of topics, particularly music, which is a passion of Fulvio along with his cooking. As an added treat, the views of Palermo from his apartment balcony are spectacular.

We loved everything with Fulvio, the food, the company, the stories, the ambience. Best caponata, fish, tiramisu and Marsala wine I had in Sicily. We had lots of fun and it's a night me and my mom will never forget :). Fulvio puts his whole heart in making you happy and we were certainly as happy as it gets 😊💛

We had a really beautiful meal last night. Fulvio was the perfect host and gave us a true Sicilian food experience. With so many restaurants to choose from in Palermo this is a much more personal alternative with first class food!

Our group loved getting to know Fulvio! He was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The food was amazing and lots of wine was provided. He was accommodating for vegetarians and alcohol-free members of our group. We thought maybe we would help with cooking, but it ended up being a nice evening around the table with an amazing meal served to us, so we have no complaints. Highly recommend!

Our experience with Fulvio was awesome! We originally thought this would be a cooking class so just be mindful if that’s what you’re looking for. Truthfully Fulvio was a wonderful host and served us an amazing Sicilian meal. He had great stories and taught us about the history of Palermo. We had 4 courses of traditional Sicilian seasonal dishes and they were all fresh and delicious. He is also mindful about dietary restrictions if you have them. We definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an intimate experience with a lovely local!

Chef Fulvio was the consummate host and a fantastic chef. He made us feel at home in his lovely apartment with a view of Palermo. We had the best dinner with Fulvio. The meal he prepared was outstanding from start to finish. The gnocchi was out of this world! Spending time with Fulvio was like visiting an old friend in Palermo who is very entertaining and just happens to be a wonderful chef. Wonderful evening! After travelling around for 2 weeks enjoying great Italian food. it was a real treat to be welcome to Fulvio's home and have excellently prepared home cooking. Including the best gnocchi I have ever had. It was also fun to eat with another couple wed never met before. Do not miss this experience.

When we booked this excursion we didn’t know what to expect. We scheduled this excursion a few hours after we landed in Palermo and my girlfriend and I are really happy we did! It was such an amazing icebreaker for our trip to get comfortable in Palermo. Fulvio and his sous-chef were very wonderful people. From teaching us how to cook authentic Sicilian dishes, to educating us on the history of Palermo as well as the dishes we made, to just having great conversation in general… this booking was a blast! Fulvio was extremely polite, informative, and also hilarious! He had us laughing just about the whole time. He even gave us some great recommendations of things to do/see in Palermo which we’ve already done since this booking. Last but not least, the food we did cook was amazing and quite different than any traditional Italian dishes we’ve had in the past. There was also never a moment where we didn’t have a full glass of wine in our hands :D. We had so much fun we ended up staying there almost 5 whole hours! Highly recommend this booking!

It was an excellent four course meal of some of the best Sicilian dishes. The ravioli was amazing! The evening was very entertaining and we learned lots of Sicilian foods and drinks. Our meal was a great way to start our tour of Sicily. it turned out that our group of 13 had an exclusive four course meal with Chef Fulvio. Every dish was delicious and well received. A couple in our group had gone truffle hunting in Sorrento and asked Chef if he would incorporate fresh truffles with our meal. Without hesitation, Chef Fulvio did so in a way that was delectable. Our group enjoyed his choice of wine and more so that wine kept flowing. Dessert was very unique: watermelon cake. If we find ourselves back in Palermo, we would do this again.

My husband Russell and I had a wonderful dinner with Fulvio!! He hosted us at his beautiful home in Palermo with amazing views. His food was absolutely delicious, and we loved everything from the starters through the dessert. Our dinner included numerous courses; the pasta and artichokes hearts made a particular impression on me as they were the best I have ever eaten!! The wine flowed freely, as did the conversation. Fulvio is a charming host and conversationalist, and he made us feel so comfortable - as if we were longtime friends instead of just having met for the first time. He speaks English extremely well and has a very interesting life. We so enjoyed our evening with him and would highly recommend him to anyone wishing to experience a small slice of Palermo life. My husband and I have already talked about coming back to Sicily and making a special trip to Palermo just to have another evening and meal with Fulvio - thank you so much, Fulvio for an absolutely outstanding experience!!

The Chef no showed. The meeting point is a very small park, Plaza Frederico Chopin. I made the reservation for Mother's Day, May 8, 2022. SCAM. The Chef did not call, email or text prior to the dinner to check on dietary restrictions, nor did he confirm in any way. We arrived at the very small Plaza 5 minutes early and waited 20 minutes. We have photos to prove time and place. While I hope the Chef is OK, it is not acceptable to fail to communicate in the cell phone and email age. I can only conclude based on my experience that this is a scam. Read other reviews, this is not the first complaint that the Chef no showed.

Foolvio was a great host. The food was fantastic as was the drink, which was flowing. I would recommend this to anyone a great way to spend an evening.

Awesome experience. We were welcomed into the chef’s home and literally felt like family. We were joined by a few of his family members. The food, table service and ambience were exceptional. The chef listens to your likes and dislikes and accommodates as such. Many laughs ensued

This was such a great home cooking with my son aswell. This was so fun and the food was incredible. To have Chef Fulvio as your evening chef was such an experience for both me snd my son. If you really want to learn how to cook Italian dishes, this is the best! Fulvio is a remarkable chef and he welcomed us to learn how to cook 4 amazing courses and enjoy learning the history of Palermo. We were in a small group and it was perfecto! Fulvio was a great chef and even a greater host. We had a beautiful evening at his private home with delicious Sicilian appetizers, two main courses and amazing tiramisu. He was very flexible and asked us about our preferences for the dinner. All in all an amazing night with a friend we gonna visit whenever we are in Palermo! Definite recommendation 😌😋

This was without a doubt the best night out we had in Palermo. The food and evening prepared by Fulvio was outstanding. Top quality meals with amazing wine pairing. A true Sicilian experience accompanied by music and loveable company. Fulvio made us feel welcome in our home and even made special efforts to accommodate for dietary requirements and additional extras for our friend's birthday. I couldn't recommend this experience more if you are looking for a special cherry on the cake to your holiday getaway.

Fulvio was the best! He was so kind to us and made sure that we had an amazing time experience. Also, SUCH a good chef! We were so full we could barely move - and it was 100% worth it! There are no words for what an incredible experience this was! Fulvio’s flat had balconies on 3 sides of the building which allowed us to enjoy a great view of the city of Palermo and the mountains that surround it. We talked about our families, friendship, the history of Palermo, and Fulvio’s passion for cooking and making new friends. It was a really fantastic experience. We would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Palermo. You are the best Fulvio! Hope to see you again when we visit next year.

This is a minus one experience. It did not happen. We want a full refund. This was not a chef in a public health regulated restaurant. This was an elderly man in a small apartment in a questionable neighborhood. We never say him we heard a voice on an apartment speaker box outside. We ask about COVID precautions and if we were eating outside on a patio and he hung up on us and refused to call us a cab to get us out of this area. Finally a stranger helped us get a cab. Spent 35 euros in cab faire for no chef no restaurant no COVID precautions no consideration and to be hung up on and we never saw the alleged Chef. FULL REFUND DEMANDED!

My wife and I enjoyed this activity, from shopping for the food, to helping prepare the meal, and finally. sitting down to enjoy everything. A very worthwhile way to spend an afternoon.

I recently are for the best part of 3 weeks evenings at Locale. I took numerous visitors there and was never disappointed. The chef had his head, and prepared an exciting range of authentic dishes. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and being busy each night, the ambience was great. Lovely quirky surroundings too

Our host has welcomed us in his apartment. He cooks and serves his guests with a lot of passion and love. It was a really special evening for my wife and me. On the one hand because of the lovingly freshly cooked food, on the other hand because we had countless evenings in restaurants, but never before, in such a special atmosphere, but because private - away from personal contacts - dinner. Along the way, we learn a lot about Palermo and Sicily. A really nice evening! Thank you.
