Meet up with the Chef Mimmo at the "Ahoy Bistrò Siciliano" in Giardini Naxos facing the sea and the Bay of Naxos and Taormina. Start your experience with a wine tasting with focaccia, cold cuts, and local Sicilian cheese. After wearing the apron, you will prepare 3 traditional Sicilian dishes: an appetizer, a fish dish and six different types of fresh pasta homemade by you. And then you will sit at the table to enjoy a real typical Sicilian lunch, a few meters from the beach and the sea, with a final tasting of small traditional Sicilian Cannoli accompanied by a glass of Limoncello.
We did this class as a family of 4 (kids aged 9 and 11) and all 4 of us enjoyed it a lot. It's relaxed and very easy to follow but also felt like good value for money - a lovely way to spend a day in Giardini naxos!

Had a wonderful time! With the help of Chef, his mamma and trusty sous chefs, we made 2 pasta dishes and 1 amazing fish dish. While pasta dough was rising we were treated to tomatoes and mozzarella. Everyone was able to contribute - crushing tomatoes, picking basil off the stem, sautéing veggies. It was very hot- but thy gave us lots of beverages to cool down. We shared a nice meal outside with our new friends.

Did this cooking course with my grown up daughters and a friend. It was everything we’d hoped for and more! Vittoreo and Mama Francesca were so warm and welcoming. They explained every step of the way and let us all join in. Mama showed us how to make dozens of shapes of pasta and made it look so easy. We were provided with antipasti and some splendid white wine and then continued preparing our meal. The food was absolutely delicious - made with wonderful, fresh Sicilian ingredients! This was the best part of the trip for my friends & I! We would have went back every day to do this class again if we could! Highly recommend spending time with Mama and her sons. We were in Taormina for a week celebrating a friends birthday and this was the highlight of our week! We learned how to make pasta and 3 different sauces. After we got the dough ready and had to let it set, we went back to our table for a lovely charcuterie board and wine. Then back to chopping and cooking the sauces. I was able to come home and make pasta with my granddaughters and it was so much fun! I highly recommend this cooking class. The chefs were so nice and Mama Chef was a highlight!!

My children and I enjoyed our cooking class with Chef Mimmo; the pace and the relaxed atmosphere were very good. The food we ate during the break and for lunch, which we had "worked" on, was of the highest standard and super delicious. It is possible to buy the wooden pasta tool, and we look forward to experimenting at home. Thank you for an enjoyable and memorable workshop.
This is a hands on experience that is really enjoyable. It is a family owned business and they treat you like Family! They educated you on the Techniques in making the sauces and pasta and gave us the recipes too!! We had time to relax and enjoy some wine and cheese and bread in between the lessons. This is a must when visiting Taormina or Catania! Loved it!

Chef Mimmo, chef Vittorio and Mama went above and beyond to provide a warm and welcoming environment. We learned how to make many shapes of our own pasta, the most delicious caponata I have ever had and a pasta alla Norma that was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed freshly baked bread, delicious wine and snacks. The atmosphere was fun and very interactive. We looked out over the sea which contributed to the beauty of the class. I highly recommend this experience to everyone. We left incredibly full but I believe that it was one of our top Italian meals on our trip. Do not hesitate to sign up for this adventure. Absolutely worth the price!!

This was such a great cooking class. Family run and authentic Sicily pasta making and stuffed fish! It was good value for money. Chef Mimo was great, informative and added some fun to it! Would highly reccomend. Plenty of wine to enjoy too.
Our group of 12 booked this cooking class in Taormina well in advance and were all looking forward to it as the highlight of our visit. We were arriving by cruise ship and coordinated everything carefully, even arranging a round-trip private taxi from the port costing 700 euros to make sure we arrived on time. Before leaving the ship, I personally called Chef Mimmo to confirm our reservation, our group size, and exactly where to meet. I even called again while en route to ensure there were no issues. Each time, I was reassured everything was fine. When we finally arrived—hot, tired, and excited to begin—we were shocked and humiliated to be told that our class had been canceled last minute. No message, no phone call, no email. Nothing. The chef himself confirmed the cancellation when we were already standing there with our full group, ready to go. This is completely unacceptable and deeply unprofessional. We were left stranded with no alternatives and completely wasted an entire day of our limited time in port—not to mention the 600 euros in taxi fare and the huge disappointment for our entire group. Chef Mimmo personally checked our email to see that we had not received an email about cancellation. Only one stating CONFIRMED. We have traveled extensively and have taken many cooking classes around the world, but have never encountered such poor communication and disregard for guests. If a class needs to be canceled, there is no excuse for not notifying customers in advance—especially when the reservation was confirmed multiple times on the very day of arrival. Warning to others: Do not book here unless you are prepared for the possibility of last-minute cancellations without notice. This experience was a complete failure in professionalism, organization, and basic courtesy.
Unforgettable Experience! This cooking class was an absolute highlight of our trip to Sicily! Chef Mimmo and his family were so warm and welcoming. We made six types of pasta noodles, caponata, pesto, and swordfish — everything was incredibly delicious. It was fun, hands-on, and we left with full bellies and full hearts ❤️ A must-do while in Sicily! Did I mention the chef gives you the recipes so you have them to try at home!?
Cannot say enough GOOD about this experience. The chef and mama were the kindest most welcoming family and everyone had a great time. The food was incredible. We had pasta and carbonara and even pesto! The wine was yummy and the atmosphere was perfect. We even got the family recipes! Would TOTALLY RECOMMEND to all ages! They could accommodate even large groups
This was a GREAT class. I learned so much about pasta noodle making. It was clear and they made it so easy. I have come home and duplicated what we did. Also, the sauces we made are definite keepers. It was fun, lively, lots of food and drink and I would recommend it for everyone to do! Chef Mimmo was a hoot, too! We met some really great people and it was so fun!

From the warm welcome, the organized, and fun atmosphere, the cooking class just got better and better. Good mixture of couples, families with adult children, and friends, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves saying, “This class has been the highlight of my trip.” The owner and Chef, Vincenzo, is a kick and really made the afternoon fun. And then there’s “Mama,” who seemed to spend more time with my husband and me as our pasta making skills weren’t quite up to speed. There was no such thing as a language barrier as she let us know exactly when we did something “not so good” and when we did “good.” She is wonderful and was the icing on the cake. The meal was yummy and fabulous and our group all seemed very happy. I would highly recommend this cooking class to our friends and family.
