Sea View Sicilian Cooking Class & Taormina Market With Chef Mimmo

So much fun and so much food! We learned to make multiple types of pasta, 2 sauces, a veggie and seafood dish! Highly recommend

It was the highlight of our trip. Mimmo and his Mother were so gracious, informative and extremely patient with our small group. The setting on the water and the food we made were outstanding. We look forward to replicating the meal for our family and friends. I would highly recommend this experience for those visiting Taormina.

This was one of our most favorite activities while in Taormino as Chef Mimmo and his family truly gave us the most wonderful experience! From the pick up in the city center, the market shopping, to the cooking class in his restaurant on the sea, he took care of everything! Chef Mimmo made this class not only informitive but fun! Making pasta and sauces for the pasta dishes and fabulous fish rolls, we experienced new flavors, all from the island of Sicily. We have taken many cooking classes during our travels, and this one truly was our favorite! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this class!! Such a great value for the experience! Thank you Mimmo and family!

My wife and I booked this cooking class while on our honeymoon. It was absolutely amazing!!! Chef Mimmo was fantastic and very knowledgeable on the food we were cooking. When we got to the market, Chef explained to us the difference in vegetables that we would later cook. The restaurant was beautiful, right on the water. We made a bunch of different types of pasta and then 3 different pasta dishes along with a fish dish. The food was fantastic. We highly, highly recommend taking this class with Chef Mimmo!!!

This activity was alot of at fun with Chef Mimmo and the team. Made to feel very welcome and a perfectly relaxed cooking experience with the family. Learnt alot, had a good laugh and good company made the time fly by. Lots of good food and Wine to enjoy and a really good time was had by everyone there. It's a fun learning experience. From the appetizer to the pasta and main dish we laugh all the way. The homemade sangria was the best!

Well organized- the greeting, the transportation, the wonderful ocean front location of the restaurant where the class was held. All the staff from the drivers to the Chef, Mama Francesca, and “Tiny” chef were so fun and helpful. Wine flowed, the food was great - I will treasure the recipe for Caponata forever! A great way to spend some quality time in Taormina.

There was alot of food and it was Delicious. Learned how to make a few dishes and got experience making pasta from scratch which was great. One thing that would make it better would be to have less people in the class. There were a total of 16 people in the class. It was difficult to hear everything that the chef was saying. It was also tough to see all the demonstrations.

A perfectly special culinary experience on the water in beautiful Taormina! Chef Mimmo was fun, informative and so welcoming! Our group of eight had so much fun creating, cooking and eating the wonderful Sicilian dishes! It was a perfect authentic Italian experience. Highly recommend!

Such a great experience! Chef Mimmo and Mama Francesca were so welcoming, fun and informative. If you are looking for a cooking class, look no further. They provided transportation from a central meeting point in Taormina right to the restaurant and back. We had such a fun evening and learned so much! Chef Mimmo also sent the recipes to all of us with some extra ones!! What a wonderful person he is (and his family). This is a family run business and the care they take shows! The restaurant was fully booked while we were doing our class. Great location with a sea view also! Highly recommend. Don’t miss it!

The meeting place is INCORRECT we had to walk a half a mile and still couldn’t find out where we were supposed to be the person I talked to on the phone was not much help by some stroke of luck, another person on the person on the tour saw us looking confused and brought us to meeting place The cooking class itself, was a wonderful and delicious experience

OMGEEE We had the BEST time ever!!! The Cheif was amazing, his dad his mum, the staff, the whole family were awesome, to the quant restaurant on the beautiful sea, the music, the smell, the fun, the new people we met and the best memories we made all topped off with some of the yummiest food we made. This was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Italy! From beginning to end, the experience was absolutely amazing. We loved every minute of the cooking class — learning how to prepare delicious, authentic Sicilian dishes and, of course, getting to enjoy everything we made! What made the experience even more special was Chef Mimmo and his beautiful family. They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and made us feel like we were spending the day cooking with family rather than simply attending a class. The food was fantastic, but the laughter, conversation, and wonderful hospitality are what made the experience so memorable. If you are traveling to Sicily, I cannot recommend this experience enough. It is so much more than a cooking class — it is a wonderful opportunity to experience Sicilian food, culture, and hospitality firsthand. This was a fantastic experience. My wife and I had a great time, we learned a lot about pizza and cannoli making and the final product was delicious. Mimmo was a great instructor and mamma Francesca was the best. I highly recommend this to everyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at Chef Mimmo's cooking class. The amount of participation was just right, we were hands on with all the dishes but didn't work too hard for the final results. The atmosphere was light with lots of humor. The meal at the end was delicious and acquainted us with the local specialties. Overall it was a whole lot of fun

What a wonderful experience! My wife and I had the pleasure of learning how to make Pizza and Cannoli with Chef Mimmo and Chef Mamma Francesca and it truly felt like cooking with family. Not only did we get hands-on experience making each dish, but we learned so much about the history of the food. Chef Mimmo provided so much insight into the importance of the ingredients and techniques, as well as some very cool food science behind what makes it all come together. Of course the food was absolutely delicious and the view from the restaurant was gorgeous, but the guidance and experience made it so much more than just a great meal by the sea. Cannot recommend this enough!

This was a great experience! Not only was it fun but with two weeks in Sicily, it was the best meal we had including one at a Michelin 2 star restaurant. Go hungry because it is a lot of food.

Fantastic! Chef mimmo and staff were excellent. Fun, helpful and very informative. Not only did we eat great food, we met his Mom. Little mimmo made me feel so special because this was my first time making pasta and had no idea what to do lol We also met very many nice people. Book this experience, you won't regret it!!!!

We had a fantastic time! The food we helped create was delicious - and very generous to share all the recipes! The meal together had very generous portions, and the dishes were great! Worth noting that it is in a kitchen environment, and it was pretty hot - but that should be expected Would highly recommend, Chef Mimmo and his family were very welcoming - can't wait to try making pasta at home!

Fantastic experience, we all loved it!

This tour provided a delicious sampling of traditional Sicilian street food and a few wines. Our guide led us along main walkways and down side streets I might not have explored on my own. She provided an interesting summary of the food, sights, and history of Taormina and the surrounding area. I highly recommend this tour.

We had the best time, ate beautiful food and learned how to make pasta, capanata and swordfish dish - it was fantastic. We met lovely people for the first time from other countries. Chef Mimmo and his beautiful family were excellent hosts and teachers. We loved it. Thank you!

We took the class that begin with market tour and it was nice. Chef Mimmo was very nice and explained everything well . The food we made was good, and made vegetarian dish instead of the fish. Wine and water along the all time. The location is infront of the sea, and we had enough time to eat what we made and get time to know the group. Recommended!

Our favorite cooking class EVER. The host family was just wonderful. All preparations were delicious and the atmosphere at the sea was lovely! Such an enjoyable experience!

This was so much fun to do while in Taormina! We first saw the market where all of the fresh vegetables & ingredients are sold. We then took a car down to the restaurant where we learned how to make fresh pasta in all different shapes, delicious traditional dishes like capponata, and pasta alla Norma and delicious chicken with chef Vittorio & Mama Francesca! They were the best & so much fun! We learned so much!! Food was delicious and we had so much of it. Definitely a fun experience to try while in beautiful Taormina :)

This was a wonderful experience! We were on a cruise that was docked in Catania, so getting to Taormina was a concern. But we found a wonderful taxi driver at the port who drove us there and brought us back. Shout out Giuseppe! Chef Mimmo and his team are exceptional! We had the best time learning, cooking, eating, and drinking! And the food was delicious! We will definitely make pasta at home now! I highly recommend this excursion!!!
