Private Tour

We booked a 90 minute private tour around Ortigia and Thomas was our captain. We had an absolutely wonderful time on this tour. Thomas was very knowledgeable, personable and funny. We learned a lot about the area, had two fabulous swimming breaks and visited the sea caves. Plus the company owner was a great communicator and also very personable. Well run company that provided a very safe and enjoyable experience!

Excellent boat trip along the coast. Highly recommend doing this - the sea caves were amazing and Guiseppe, our skipper, was a great guide and extremely knowledgeable on the history of the area. The highlight was swimming off the back of the boat. Guiseppe found the calmest waters so it was best for our daughters. 10/10 afternoon!

Captain Laura was our expert guide on a somewhat windy/rough day. She led us safely under the bridge and into the Siracusa sea caves, providing lots of historic/geologic information along the way. She took us into the caves and kept us safe and calm. So appreciated her fantastic skill! The complimentary prosecco was a nice touch. Dolce escursioni was a great company to deal with, too- owner Stefano was a delight.

What a fantastic experience with this wonderful company. We had Franco as a tour guide and he was a wealth of knowledge, class and kindness. We loved it. I have my two children (7 and 4) my husband and mother with me and we all raved about it. Could not recommend more.

We made a private tour around 5pm and it was perfect. We stop during the tour for a swim and that was the best choice for a hot day. I recomand them.

We just got back from the most perfect 2 hours on the waters of Ortigia and Siracusa. We chose a private tour around the island for 4 people. It included prosecco, white wine, red wine, soda, and water. Setting up the tour with Stefano was a breeze and he gave us so many choices for what we wanted to do. The boat was nice and clean and Franco the captain was great. He had great English and could take us around the whole island explaining everything. Whenever we wanted to get out and swim he would find a place for us to dock that was also in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend for your time in Ortigia or Siracusa.

Wonderful boat trip around Siracusa! Our captain Steve was great. We visited all the caves, stopped for a swim from the boat and then viewed the city from the boat. It gave us such a wonderful panoramic view it was beautiful. Steve and all the staff were lovely. Steve was full of knowledge and made us laugh too. Really worthy of a five star review

Our boat captain Steven was excellent! He was friendly, kind, and played wonderful music while we explored. It is a beautiful area to be on the extremely clear water. Traveling around the beautiful island was affordable and fulfilling. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic few hours on the water with Tesio. Took us along the coast to the grottoes and to a beautiful clear swimming area. Back round the fort into the harbour. Great commentary, interesting and lovely guy. Highly recommended.

Pretty poor outfit. We engaged w them thru our airbnb host. I have been arranging my group and I asked a question on Mon. I heard nothing Tues and after I chased them Wed, hey finally responded w a different schedule and a payment link for deposit. After reconfirming my gourp, I tried to finish payment (< 24 hours later) - they cancelled. No Service was provided but actually if the booking reflects the service - I am prob better off.

Excellent boat trip. We did the private tour which cost more obviously but when you see the others quite full, definitely worth it. We got to swim when we wanted & had all our questions answered. Enjoyed the Prosecco too. Thanks to Franko our captain

We booked a private boat tour of the island and sea caves via Tripadvisor but once booked the excellent Stefano took great care of us - going out of his way to find us as I hadn’t seen his WhatsApp messages! Everything ran very smoothly and the process is clearly well practised. Our tour was led by Skipper Pepe and the boat was very comfortable with beautiful polished timber fittings. Pepe was friendly and very knowledgeable. It was one of the best 90 minutes I’ve had a in a long time! A wonderful trip and I would suggest a ‘must do’ in Ortigia. Private tour is especially nice as you get a clear view and can get all the photos you want without having to dodge the other passenger’s heads. I would thoroughly recommend this very professional operator.

We had a fantastic time on our private tour! We first visited the sea caves and then watched a beautiful sunset from the boat. Our skipper was very informative and pointed out interesting sights along the way. He also opened a bottle of sparkling wine for us and played some lovely music during our tour of the sea caves and coast line. Highly recommend this experience!!

I was impressed by the friendly approach of the sales man plus the boat tour operator was great in explaining the historical sites of every move of the excursion, and very good in navigating the boat and very much careful in terms of health and safety, I truly recommend for someone who wants to visit Syracusa, Weldeab, UK.

My husband and I had Franco as our tour guide for our private tour of the caves in Syracusa and it was amazing! Franco was such a wonderful tour guide and host, teaching us about the history of ortigia, stopping to let us swim, navigating the caves, and showing us an all around great time. If you go to Ortigia, you have to book Dolci Escursioni for a boat tour - it was such a wonderful way to spend our last night! ◡̈

Great trip. The water and caves were amazing! Swam in 2 different locations. Our captain spoke pretty good English and was very well versed and invested in the local history

We had an amazing private boat tour with an amazing tour guide (Caratto was his name and I most likely am spelling it wrong). He was so knowledgeable and told us all about the island of Ortigia and the caves. We also had time to swim and drink Prosecco. I highly recommend and recommend Caratto. It’s a great private tour that doesn’t take up the entire day but is a must see!!!

EXCELLENT- we highly recommend. The tour took us in a few caves, a few spots to swim and a beautiful view of the coastline. Our tour guide pointed out buildings and gave a historical perspective. Thanks for a great day!!

Such a fun experience for me and my kids - age 27 and 12. We loved the caves, the views and the swimming. We had to reschedule due to rain and they were super accommodating- the communication was very proactive and clear. Our captain was very informative but also fun so the kids listened. His skill in maneuvering the boat was excellent and we loved the Prosecco and drinks. The swimming was an amazing way to cool off. Would absolutely recommend and would do it again.

Friendly private experience We spent 2 hours on a private boat with a guide and a boat driver along the coast of Ortigia . A magic and regreshing moment . The swimming spot was beautiful , we spent 20 mn to swim.

I loved everything in this tour. All the team helped me a lot. I was setting up a surprise for my girlfriend and the crew were very kind helping me.

We picked up this tour last minute and did a lovely 1 1/2 hour tour of the caves and the sites. Wine was provided. Stefano and Guiseppe were are guides and were fun and engaging. We did this at 4 p.m. which was the perfect time to be out on the water. It was not too hot although there was a canopy cover. I would highly recommend. Easy to communicate. Use WhatsAp to contact.

The boat tour with Stefano and his team around Ortigia was simply unforgettable! For me and my friends it was a beautiful and really fun experience. The whole team was extremely kind, helpful and very professional – we felt comfortable from the very first moment. The atmosphere on board was relaxed but at the same time well organized. A must-try excursion for an overview of the beauties of Ortigia from the sea. Surprising visit inside the caves. Thanks to our captain Laura, for guiding us with professionalism and competence in this experience not to be missed.

The sea was rough so they adapted the ride to the weather conditions. We could see from the water the main monuments with explanations of everything in Spanish. Very entertaining and complete thanks to Franco. Fully recommended.

October 5, 2024 spectacular sea and we decide in a group of 17 people to take a boat tour. The tour was spectacular our skippers Giuseppe and Franco were spectacular, very prepared and above all nice. We spent an hour wonderful.Recommended

We were able to admire the beauty of Ortigia from a point of view, that of the sea, unknown to us. To the professionalism with which he provided historical and naturalistic details Titian added the willingness to pause in some points to allow us to take the desired photos. Recommended, bravo!

We opted for the private tour for more than two hours. Perfect service hotel pick up and return. Boat tour to discover Oetigia and its caves on a private tour. Drinks available and our cicero who told us many interesting historical facts. If you do not want to mix with too many people efsre unangita romantic recommend the private tour.
