We booked this class. It was very close to our cruise port. Row was truly amazing. He opened his home to us and provided an amazing experience. The wine was great. The food was great and we were partnered with another family who was also wonderful. They had children in the thoroughly enjoyed it as well and was so wonderful to be immersed in the Italian culture. Hundred percent would recommend our host to anyone!!

Making pasta in Italy: this is a fantastic way to spend an evening or afternoon in Catania! Massimilliano led us in crafting a variety of pastas. He was the perfect host, having everything ready when we arrived, including aprons and refreshing beverages. We mixed up two types of pasta dough, and learned all the tips and tricks for making them into delicious meals. Massi gave us a lot of background information on ingredients and equipment, and inspired us to begin making homemade pasta in our own home. He even shared his recipes with us! What was extra special about this experience, is that we had the honor of spending time in a Sicilian home with a Sicilian family. That gave us insight and the personal touch that other tours don't offer. By the end of our evening, we gained not only valuable cooking skills, but also some new friends.
Maurizio was a great host, chef and musician. He entertained us and charmed us with his stories. This tour was our favorite on this trip. I highly recommend it!

My wife and I loved this experience! Cooking and talking with Renata was a wonderful time. She gave us great instruction and we all got to go through the steps to make a few different dishes. We were very grateful to be invited into her home and be treated like family. We also had great conversation with her afterwards while trying the pastas we made. We'll keep practicing!
Amazing! Maurizio was an incredible instructor who taught me to make three pastas by hand. The food tasted amazing and we made a bonus tiramisu! Maurizio was friendly and had many stories to tell. The cat that lives on the roof also came to say hello! Would definitely recommend!

My mom and I had an amazing time learning to make pasta with Maurizio. We made 3 pastas, each with a different sauce, and tiramisu. The recipes were delicious and unique, but simple enough that we will try to recreate them at home. We ate so much food and he even sent us home with the leftovers! It was truly a unique and unforgettable experience.

Learn to make pasta from a local. Andrea and Graziella were very warm and friendly. Interesting conversation accompanied the pasta making. You'll also enjoy a great view over Catania. A must do if you would like a one of a kind memory.

Spending a morning with Graziella and Andrea (Brian 😉) was a highlight of our trip. We not only learned how to make a delicious pasta, we also learned how to hand-roll the dough. Maurizio was a true professional, from the moment you arrived to the moment you left. Served a delicious spread of appetizers before you even started cooking. His directions were impeccable. It was some of the best pasta sauce I’ve ever eaten. He shared history of each dish and the reasoning of the ingredients. As well as shared his soul and passion for cooking. It was a relaxed homey atmosphere. I felt like I had known him for years! I look forward to returning with my daughters! Grazie

We loved our pasta cooking class with Cesarina Laura. We arrived very early but Laura welcomed us inside right away and served us fresh brushetta and wine while she finished setting up. We learned how to make 3 unique pastas and all of them tasted delicious. Literally the best pasta I have eaten in my life. But honestly the most wonderful part of the experience was Laura herself. She is a such a great teacher and amazing chef. What a perfect way to end our stay in Sicily. Cannot recommend a class with Laura enough!

Our chef and his cousin provided an evening of cooking and friendship that we will remember forever. The evening started with hors d’oeuvres and ended with music provided by our chef. I look forward to using my new found recipes on my family when I get home.

The overall experience. Our host made us feel right at home by welcoming us into her home. We chatted for about 10-15 minutes to get to know each other and got started. She had an amazing day planned! We helped her make 2 amazing appetizers, had wine and then made pasta from scratch, which ended up being 3 different types of pasta. Each one got better. You could tell our host, Antonella, was passionate about cooking and her culture. After we ate all the appetizers and the 3 different types of pasta, she then offered us a specialty dessert of Sicily (homemade granita) and coffee. We could have stayed and chatted with her all day but we had to get back to our ship. She even sent me a email with all the recipes that we created. This was such a wonderful experience and Antonella was absolutely amazing!
Our family of four had a wonderful day with Mauricio and his sister Lucia! We had our two teenage boys traveling with us, it’s hard to find things of interest for them. We were welcomed into our host’s home, enjoyed breakfast before we started and had such a great family time learning to make several different types of pasta. We worked hard! Mauricio and Lucia were hilarious! Lucia didn’t speak English but her gestures spoke volumes, the kids were laughing the whole time! We made three different pasta dishes, plus tiramisu. Don’t eat beforehand! Plus we had wine and champagne. So fun and so special! Thank you for such a great experience!
We were paired up with Angela for our pasta making. She welcomed us into her lovely home and spent the morning teaching us how to make 2 types of pasta along with some Bruschetta. I had contacted her before to indicate some food preferences we had and she accommodated those preferences well. After making the pasta we cooked it all and had a delicious lunch. Both of my teens who did the tour with us really enjoyed it and loved the food. They can’t wait to try it sometime when we get back home.

Francesca was a delightful host. An experienced professional chef, and so kind to bring us to her home. You can tell she has all the knowledge… never looking at a single recipe. Tiramisu was amazing, the gnocchi with cheese cream sauce 💥💥, the ravioli with ham cheese and prepared Sicilian garlic sauce. And more. Even home made gelato to greet us. It was Fantastic experience.
An absolute pleasure cooking with the Italian couple! Although there was a language barrier, we somehow managed to make conversation by simply cooking amazing Italian cuisine. All the while making you feel like you’re spending time with family. Highly recommend to try, especially if you want to be fed good food until you can’t anymore P.S. they have an amazing view overseeing the city with Mt Etna behind. Breathtaking!
I had a lovely day with Francesca and her husband Armando. We made three types of pasta as advertised but she also showed me how to make focaccia and gave me some traditional Sicilian breakfast before we cooked. I learned a lot, not only about cooking but about life in Sicily. This was my favorite activity I did all trip.
