Fabrizzo was an excellent guide great knowledge of Palermo & took us to some amazing street food stalls to sample local cuisine. Highly recommended even if you are travelling solo. Great experience
Fabrizio, a true Palermitani, was our excellent guide for the tour. He started us with some history and then we hit the Capo street market where Fabrizio had arranged for us to taste many local specialties, enough to fill us up (served as lunch), and we learned about ingredients and the history of some of the dishes, which I found particularly fascinating. We also stopped at the Cathedral and the Massimo Theater, both of which Fabrizio was very knowledgeable about.
Excellent food and history tour. Fabrizio was very knowledgeable, friendly and learnt all our names very quickly. Lots of history - you don't actually need entrance fee to the cathedral. Food was great although a tasting platter of more of the amazing food types in the market would have been fun. Not a huge amount to eat overall on the tour. There were 14 people on the tour which is more than the 12 max but it didn't detract and everyone was very friendly and chatty.
The guide was extremely informative and answered all of our questions. He was very friendly and funny and helped provide a local insight on Palermo. Very interesting and delicious tour! Would recommend.
And I also want to give you the catalog of my photos.
I didn’t go to Palermo: I toured the whole island but left Palermo for a next visit. Sicily itself is exciting; it is the third time I have visited it and I will return many more times because I always discover something new. It has a very rich history with impressive archaeological parks, a spectacular heritage and a very authentic, exquisite cuisine. But landscapes, especially in Spring, have nothing to envy. I recommend to tour Sicily with your own car and get out of the tourist circuits to get to know the island better. In large archaeological parks take the services of a guide who conveniently explains the place: Segesta, Agrigento, Piazza Armerina, Syracuse and Ortigia, Enna, Taormina, Erice, Catania, Cefalu, Trapani, Noto, Messina... it's ALL!. It is worth climbing to the vowel Etna because, if it is not covered with clouds, the view is breathtaking. And street, especially street to soak in Sicily “in a pure state”.
The second time with Maurizio and he confirmed his professionalism and passion for his work! Fully satisfied!!!! There will be no shortage of opportunities to introduce you to other tourists!
Maurizio was a fantastic guide, very prepared and really passionate. The tour took us to discover the main points of Palermo, all contextualized in the local history and culture. Maurizio has also made himself available to offer us advice on further places to visit in Palermo and its surroundings and on places where to taste the culinary delicacies of this city. I really recommend a tour with Maurizio!
Maurizio was an excellent guide: accurate explanations, interesting anecdotes and lots of sympathy. Engaging tour and lots of useful tips for places to eat and places to visit.
Maurizio in our opinion is a very prepared guide, nice and very helpful. Helped a foreign tourist solve a problem related to her apartment so she wouldn't miss a visit to the city
The only advice: let Maurizio accompany you on your tour! He loves the history of his city, the city itself and Sicily as a whole. It manages to convey what is a passion and not a job. Thank you, Maurizio!!! You made us love Palermo and the Palermtani even more.
Excellent explanations, dynamic and interactive. Finally a historical tour NOT boring, but from which you can learn a lot. Maurizio shared a lot of information and curiosities about much of the city and how it was created. Really recommended!

Just to my taste. That's how you like to get to know a city. For my terms, a very successful mixture of cultural and culinary impressions. Thank you for that!
For the first time in Palermo we relied on Walking Tour, in the person of Maurizio , who pleasantly accompanied us in the historic center eruding us on the history of how this city was born and the historical changes that have characterized it ...... every corner is unique , churches and palaces dialogue with each other with mixtures of styles ..... curiosity and sagas of historical families entice us to learn more ..... thanks to this precious guide curiosity , has been more than stimulated , and we will pack it for the next few days in the city
A nice walk in the historic center of Palermo during which Maurizio, a trained guide, showed us the main attractions of the city. I recommend it.

Maurizio was very good at highlighting, with competence and sympathy, the most intimate and lived aspects of the city, making us discover, step by step, an unexpected Palermo rich in culture but, above all, rich in so much humanity. Thank you Maurizio, we will definitely return.

Maurizio made us discover Palermo in a very professional and fun way; he told us details and stories that allowed us to better appreciate our mini-holiday. Thank you Maurizio!
Maurizio is extremely nice, courteous, prepared on every front and available even after the guided tour x any kind of advice.
I would have given my best if it hadn't been for the council on Focacceria San Francesco, of course it's not their fault but I must say that the employees of the place were very rude
The tour lasted longer than expected, the guide was detailed in the smallest details adding witty anecdotes making the day light and carefree despite the description of the city and the various sites have many dates and names to remember. Council with flying colors. Anna Lecce
A complete experience... between history, food and curiosity. Maurizio’s enthusiasm and energy... together with his high professionalism.... made us know and appreciate this wonderful city of Palermo.... Beyond expectations. Bravo really 😊
Maurizio is an exceptional guide who puts passion and soul into every story. It was a beautiful tour, the hours with him flew by. I highly recommend it for a few hours to discover Palermo and beyond.
Experience to do if you are eager to discover the origins of Palermo. The guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the city, we jumped through the most important streets and discovered various tales of Palermo. The tour lasted an hour longer than expected. Recommended!
Very nice and pleasant person, thanks to his knowledge and obvious passion for his work has allowed us to know Palermo and be able to appreciate it even more. Highly recommended guide
Great guided tour in the company of Maurizio, very prepared guide, helpful and nice! Recommended for those who want to discover curiosities and beauties of Palermo!
The visit with Maurizio was extremely interesting as it provided us with the historical, artistic and costume elements necessary to fully enjoy the wealth of Palermo Maurizio combines the undoubted professional competence with a great personal availability and was lavish with advice that was extremely useful to us even in the following days that we spent alone in Palermo
Thanks to Maurizio who showed us Palermo explaining and telling us the history and anecdotes of this beautiful city. Highly recommended!!!
I did the tour with Mauricio as my guide, the group consisted of 9 people in all, which is an added value, in small groups you taste better and you can ask more questions. The tour was very nice and exciting. The good, knowledgeable, experienced, fun guide. I recommend taking a guided tour because then you understand and taste Palermo even more. I arrived in Palermo the day before and had already taken a tour of the city without a guide. I recommend getting an idea before joining a guided tour, and then keeping at least another day to visit the things of interest mentioned during the tour.
Great experience! Our guide Maurizio very prepared person, nice and lover of his work so much so that from the two hours provided we spent almost twice as much together 👍
Maurizio very prepared and empathetic guided us through the streets and history of the wonderful city of Palermo. His passionate preparation involved us for more than three hours on a journey through time from the foundation of the Phoenicians, to the Arabs and then the Normans to the present day. Great guide that I hope to find to anyone who decides to visit this jewel of a city. Simonetta
I loved the experience, it gave us the opportunity to know a little about the history of Palermo and appreciate the city, see the markets and the most beautiful things knowing their origins and knowing anecdotes about it, a whole other thing than seeing it without knowing these things .. it also allowed us to have ideas on things to see in the following days and a reference point in case of need .. Maurizio was really good, nice and allowed us to fully appreciate a truly wonderful city .. I think that seeing a city x the first time together with a valid guide is the best way to know and live it fully .. I really recommend the guided tour of the historic markets and the center of Palermo with Maurizio! I would absolutely do it again 😊😊
Maurizio drives super. Prepared, friendly and able to make you discover Palermo in a unique way. Rely on him and you won't regret it
The tour is really suitable to have a good overview and an understanding of the city. Maurizio with a direct and always available style has passionately transmitted his historical, architectural and social knowledge in an articulated story enriched by detailed answers to our questions. Nice passage in the markets and the description of the many gastronomic excellences offered by the region. During the tour we requested and obtained information and suggestions for visits , places, curiosities, gastronomic specialties in line with our interests. Tour absolutely recommended.
Cultured and helpful friendly guide. Able to create feelings with the group. Available and beyond the stipulated time
A splendid city told in a simple and highly explanatory way by a person who could not hide the deep love he has for Palermo and the Palermitans. Great connoisseur of the history of the city, even the most remote. He managed, with his enthusiasm, to involve us also emotionally, made us feel a little "Palemmitani". The whole city, the administration and the citizens should thank those who do their work with so much love and enthusiasm. We will definitely be back and will still want Maurizio by our side.
