Palermo Small Group Fresh Pasta And Tiramisù Cooking Class

Francesca was fun and thorough. 7 of our family members attended the class. To eat together the food that we prepared was rewarding. We will definitely try the recipes at home. I highly recommend this class.

I cannot recommend Francesca’s cooking class enough. Not only is the food delicious, but her company is even better! Our group of four had the best time learning from Francesca and getting to know one another. Her passion for food and cooking is easy to spot! While the location is a bit outside of Palermo, it is well worth the short drive. Francesca even helped arrange transportation for our return to the city. Thank you, Francesca, for sharing this with us! 11/10 would recommend!

Amazing time with Francesca! Very genuine lady with lots of knowledge of Italian cuisine. All ingredients are from her own garden and you get to eat after all. I left full and happy! 10/10 cooking class. Francesca is so passionate about cooking and you can really tell. This class is something we will never forget and it was the highlight of our entire trip over the last 2 weeks. We made two types of pasta and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious. If we ever come back to Palermo we will take another one of Francesca’s classes. Unforgettable and so much fun.

This past week, my family made a first time pilgrimage together to Sicily to see where our ancestors were from. We decided to stay in a rustic compound in Santa Flavia, bordering Porticello, where my great grandparents were born. Unfortunately, the weather was uncooperative for the most part and we needed to find alternate entertainment while we dodged the raindrops. Fortunately, my sister came upon Francesca‘s in-home, cooking class experience, in neighboring Bulgaria. Bulgaria streets are extremely narrow and challenging to navigate for us North Americans, but the white knuckle drive was worthwhile once we arrived in Francesca’s gated residence. (Leave yourself a little extra time as nothing in this area of the world is overly intuitive). After introductions and proper outfitting of the aprons, we were ready to go. Francesca‘s English was excellent and no directions were missed due to a language barrier. We started with a delicious homemade tiramisu and finished with housemaid fettuccine as well as handmade ravioli completely made from scratch. Two different housemaid sauces were created and both delicious! A nice touch, and something that we all very much appreciated, was the fact that Francesca followed up with us via WhatsApp to send us photos of our experience, and the specific recipes for everything she had taught us. We would highly recommend this cooking class to anyone visiting this part of the world.

This was a very small group cooking experience with a friendly and generous chef, Francesca. We made all aspects of the dinner and dessert with her instruction and it was delicious! She is worth the drive out from Palermo.

This was absolutely amazing. Francesca was very accommodating with our time, she then welcomed us into her home and kitchen. It's a beautiful space - with lemon trees and olives growing outside. She was patient and informative about the food preparation, she answered our questions and she made us cook an amazing meal. My 2 teenagers were absolutely thrilled. So were the parents!

Francesca is very passionate about Sicilian food. She gave us very good tips and we loved cooking in her kitchen. With her assistence we learned how to make Fresh pasta ourselves and we will try this at home to impress our guests 😁

Francesca is the BEST!! What a lovely lady. So engaging! I switched my booking at the last minute. I was told I would be the only cook that day. Francesca had no problem with me being the only cook. I asked so many questions about cooking and Sicilian culture. Parking was off street and Francesca communicated promptly. By the way…… the meal was delicious!!!!! Thanks my friend 😊

Francesca was welcoming and friendly. She showed us how to make the tiramisu first, as it needed to be chilled, then the pasta sauces with fresh ingredients all laid out for us. We chatted with Francesca as she gave us instructions and useful tips, and then left the sauces to cook, before making the pasta dough. From this we made fettuccine and ravioli stuffed with ricotta and Parmesan, salt and pepper. After a quick bit of cooking, the pasta was served and it was delicious! Not sure how much of this was our cooking skill and how much Francesca’s ingredients and tuition. An excellent session, thank you Francesca

Francesca is the very best! She was so friendly and made the cooking fun and easy. We made ravioli, spaghetti with Sicilian pesto, arancine and tiramisu. One thing we loved, was that we did ALL the cooking. From the dough to the pesto, even frying our own arancine. Francesca made sure we knew how to recreate the meal at home. We left absolutely stuffed and so happy. 100% recommend this cooking class!

A fabulous afternoon spent with Francesca learning authentic Italian cuisine! Such a personal experience teaching us how to make pasta the most incredible sausage and zucchini spaghetti dish along with incredible ravioli and the best tiramisu ever!

I went with a friend while traveling around Italy this summer. It was an amazing experience. Francesca is so kind and she makes it easy to love cooking. The food was some of the best food that we had while we where in Italy! I recommend this to anyone looking for something fun to do while traveling. And the tiramisu was incredible, she even let us take home the leftovers!

This cooking class was the best thing we did on our whole trip to Europe, let alone in Sicily! Francesca is an amazing host, chef, and teacher! She went above and beyond to make this experience special. She is extremely kind and accommodating to any dietary restrictions you may have.
