Chiara was a great guide. She introduced us to delicious street food and also provided a little history of Palermo. You can tell she loves her heritage and enjoys sharing it. Chiara was an awesome guide, and she had an obvious passion for her city. We really recommend doing this tour as soon as you can after arriving in Palermo, as you get a really great idea of where to go for meals during your stay. The food we ate was all delicious, and we got to see all the vibey parts of Palermo. The tour was excellent!

The town of Palermo was lovely and we had fabulous weather. Our guide lacked enthusiasm. We had four stops - the first one was a bunch of fried food, which was not good. Second stop we had Foccacio bread. Also, not good. Third stop rice ball, which were tasty but fried. Fourth stop was outstanding - either the best cannoli you will ever have or delicious gelato. In retrospect, I would have much preferred to find a nice restaurant and have lunch and walk around the city.

Carlo was an amazing guide, my partner and I had an amazing time and the food was delicious. Would recommend.

Excellent tour guide and very nice food and drinks

The guide, Oriana, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She made sure of any dietary needs of the whole group and planned the tour accordingly. One of the group was vegetarian, one had a lactose intolerance, and she did everything to make sure everyone had a good sampling of local foods. We certainly got value for money and nobody left hungry. She gave us some good local tips along the way, also.

Don’t hesitate to book. Oriana was local and energetic. She took us to lovely places where we were expected with a table. It was just the right length of tour and i had a 15 yr old with me who particularly loved the final cannoli!!

Excellent communication prior to the tour. Received a photo of the guide Carlo and meeting place. Started approx 5 mins from the meeting place with food, drink and history. Continued on to 4 more locations all serving excellent samples of food including, if you dare, the local delicacy of spleen in a roll with ricotta! Carlo was an excellent guide and host. Great value for money and suggested places to eat post tour if you have room! Would highly recommend.

We had a great tour with Oriana. She is friendly, funny and got to know us all on a personal level. We enjoyed all of the stops she took us to and she was careful in accommodating my vegetarian diet. We ate a lot - unlike some other tours we have been on, we didn't get 'samples' and instead full portions. Make sure you don't eat before and you don't plan to eat afterwards! Great value for money for that reason. This tour is great for anybody who may feel a little unsure of navigating Palermo without a local as the markets can be overwhelming with choice. We left with a greater sense of the city and some good recommendations too. Thanks Oriana!

Oriana was amazing, we had the best day and the best tour! This was one of the highlights of our trip. Oriana truly knew the intricate streets and markets of Palermo like the back of her hand. We tasted so much yummy food, and learned about the history from Oriana as we did.

Excellent tour and Chiara our guide was fabulous explaining not only the food culture but also the history of Palermo and its development over the centuries. Would highly recommend the tour if you enjoy both the food and culture of Palermo - this is a must.

If you are looking for THE introduction to life in Palermo, this is it. We had the pleasure of Annalisa as our guide on the first day of our stay. She is incredibly knowledgeable, so welcomong and very very passionate about food. We ate things I would never have thought to, and getting to understand the origins of the food made it all the tastier. Annalisa took us through and around areas we might otherwise have missed, so it was also a great way to explore. Delicious food, a beautiful city and the wonderful Annalisa to take you through it all. A strongly recommended activity for all ages.

We had Annalisa as our guide and she was so passionate and knowledgeable. It was the most interesting and delicious experience and definitely what we wanted out of a local food experience. We went into so many venues I would never have found or thought to try and it was such a special experience. Can't recommend her enough!

Chiara was such a knowledgeable guide. Not only did we learn about food but history and the rise against the mafia. Such a fun and informative tour. The food was all very good and we left satisfied. We were glad we didnt eat breakfast. It was walking but at a very leisurely pace and not too far. It was our first full day in Sicily so it was nice to try many of the local dishes right away. Chiara was very kind and funny and I would highly recommend her as a guide. She made sure to answer all our questions and if there was anything else we needed.

Brilliant from start to finish. Oriana was bright and energetic and local and took us to some great restaurants on the tour always with a table pre booked . This is highly recommended- ending at the convent for a cannoli

We had a wonderful street food tour with Chiara. We got to know the best places for food so we can avoid the tourist traps and learned a lot about Palermo along the way. Chiara's English was excellent, she was very friendly and easy to talk to and we would thoroughly recommend going on this tour, especially on your first day in Palermo. It was also very good value for money, we got lots of food and were stuffed by the end!

The meeting place was easy to find. Chiara was very friendly and a terrific guide because she explained the history of the food we sampled and why it was important to Sicily. She also gave us insights as we passed historic buildings. She was patient answering questions. The food we sampled was interesting and some things we would never order in our own. ...we liked the granita the best!

Ricardo guided us to interesting establishments that we would not have found on our own. He was a fun personable guide who shared local stories along with interesting food.

Federico was amazing. Not only did he show us all the great food spots in Palermo, but he also gave the history of each dish! 10/10 would book again.
