Marcello was an excellent, patient guide as he taught us the steps for making Sicilian style pizza. The class takes place in a cooking school, with a large open space to work. Lots of options to design your own pizza, which was cooked fast in a super hot oven. The kids in the class made the Gelato, which we got to enjoy after our pizzas!

Absolutely fabulous evening making pizza and gelato with wonderful hosts Lydia and Georgia. The recipes were great, everyone was very involved and we picked up lots of tips for cooking back home. Lydia has a great teaching style with wonderful humour and all the group got on so well with so much shared humour. Get Your Guide has never disappointed us with the guides they use. This was a highlight of our visit to Sicily - a wonderful evening and well worth the price. Highly recommended.

Serena and Lidia were FANTASTICO! They gave great instruction, and they were funny and kinda and helpful! The group was full and they managed it well. I came alone and there were other solo travelers but the food and wine help everyone become family! 1000/10 Would recommend!!
Such a fun and enjoyable experience! The atmosphere was fantastic—relaxed, lively, and full of good energy. Making pizza together was the highlight of the class; it was hands-on, entertaining, and a great way to spend time with friends or family. Everyone was involved, laughing, learning, and enjoying the process. The pizza turned out delicious, and the little gelato-making part was a perfect sweet finish. More than just a cooking class, it was a really fun and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Wow! What a great evening! Serena our chef and her colleague ( sorry didn’t catch her name), worked incredibly hard. Serena was so informative, showing us lots of techniques and was encouraging and instructive when it was our turn. Still amazed at how delicious my pizza was. There was a great atmosphere with all the people taking part from lots of different countries. The gelato making was fascinating and so tasty! Very good value for money. I really recommend this class. Thank you!

Upon our arrival back home we purchased all the ingredients from a recipe she provided for another Taste of Sicily at home with the family.

Liddia is an absolute delight! She came to the class at short notice as another teacher was unable to attend. She’s a natural teacher who is patient, friendly and kind to her students. I genuinely recommend the pizza and gelato making class - best I’ve ever had and I made it myself! I will definitely do a Towns of Sicily course again as the level of professionalism is brilliant. Absolutely loved our class. It was only 6 people, 4 from our family and two others. It was lovely to meet them and have some great chats! Our teacher, Lydia was exceptional. So friendly, so knowledgeable and so much fun! We absolutely loved this class and our pizza and gelato was exceptional, if I do say so myself!!! 🍕😋

It was amazing! We made pizza, had wine and Foccacia and made homemade chocolate gelato. The chefs’ who taught us were excellent! They were engaging, personable and funny.
This was our second experience with Towns of Italy, and it was just as excellent as the first one. Marcello, our chef, and his assistant (I'm so sorry I don't remember her name) were outstanding. They were pleasant, informative, efficient, funny and made our experience one to remember. We were a party of 8 and we would all recommend your classess to anyone, and already have. We'll be back!!
