This is an absolutely fantastic excursion. The service was amazing. They picked us up right at the port and drove us all around the beautiful city of Palermo. Pietro was very good at letting us know where and when to meet for pick up and Alessio was the perfect guide. Out of all of our excursions this was, by far, our favorite. The drinks, snacks and music were an added plus! Do not skip this trip.

Very enjoyable and classy. A bit on the expensive side but individual attention. The guide was very well informed
This was a great tour. Definitely recommend to see the beautiful city. Thank you Antonio and Alessio!
My family was visiting Palermo and we wanted to try this experience. There were six of us and we had an amazing time. They provided drinks, snacks and blankets if needed. They were kind, patient and shared a lot of wonderful knowledge. They were very helpful to my mom and made the trip accessible for her. I would highly recommend this experience
The trip started on a high note, our guide was a friendly guy, we played our music real loud enjoyed the snacks and drinks they provided however it went downhill some where in the middle when we realized that we were skipping some promised landmarks completely and we were not given any time to get out at certain places to take pictures or tour. The booking was almost $1000- which is super high for the 3 hour tour where we were not given the time to step down from the vehicle and tour some of the landmarks at all. I would like some refund back for the disappointing experience and the high cost that was not worth it.
This tour was SO much fun and easily one of the highlights of our trip! The car was beautiful and such a fun way to experience Palermo, but the absolute best part was our driver and guide, Alessio and Pietro. They were fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience so memorable. Our cruise ship ended up having mechanical issues and we arrived SIX HOURS later than originally scheduled. We were so worried we were going to miss the excursion completely, but Alessio and Pietro were incredibly accommodating. They made rescheduling so easy and completely took the stress out of an already hectic situation. Once we finally arrived, they made sure we still had an amazing experience and never made us feel rushed or like our delay was an inconvenience. We had such a great time with them and genuinely couldn’t have asked for better people to show us Palermo. If you’re considering booking this excursion, DO IT — and if you get Alessio and Pietro, you’re in for an amazing day! Highly recommend!
Lovely way to see all the main sites in Palermo, but wear a hat if you don’t want to put the canopy up because it does get warm
The tour guide (i think his name was Pietro) was fantastic. So knowledgeable and easy going with it. The tour around the parts of Palermo he took us on were great especially Santa Rosalia up on Monte Pellegrino. You could tell he was so passionate about the facts he was sharing. He gave audio, while the wonderful driver Antonio, drove us to the spots, and we would stop for him to explain certain places further. They provided drinks and snacks, and both were so lovely. So so helpful. Would recommend highly!
Gabriela was very good, interesting and took us to many different places Highly recommend this trip. Open air, snacks, and drinks. Perfect
Very knowledgeable and accommodating! Such a pleasure to have them show us around! Highly recommend! 10/10
Awesome job Gabriel did a great job of touring the city and we had fun in his party van
This was an incredible tour! The guides were fantastic, the vehicle was awesome, and we were very well taken care of. We saw and learned so much, and we highly recommend this tour!
Excellent and friendly experience. Professional driver and tour guide. Our tour guide Alessio spoke fantastic English, and had a very positive and upbeat personality. Both gentleman went the extra mile to make our tour special and personalized. The vehicle is the best mode of transport to be shown around, especially during hot summer month. The vehicle is open air, however, there is air conditioning and it stayed very comfortable. Thanks again!
Oh my head, what a wonderful experience we had with Antonio (our driver) and Alexio (our guide)! We had 3 hours and I think we saw all of Palermo along with the Church of Santa Rosalie, built into a cave. The drinks and snacks were perfect and we even had time for a gelato stop. Pick up and drop off were easy and the music during the drive was fun to sing to. We would absolutely recommend this tour for anyone spending the day in Palermo!
Had a great day visiting multiple culturally important sites throughout Palermo and surrounding areas. Our guide gave us great insight into each place and explained how each culture in Scicily combined to create the rich and powerful history of the region.
If you only do one thing in Palermo, do this!! Seriously one of the best holiday excursions we’ve ever done, anywhere. Absolutely perfect for families and anyone who wants to see Palermo in a totally unique way. There is not much Fabrizio doesn’t know about the city and its history. His knowledge and enthusiasm is incredible. Highly recommend doing this early evening with the sunset. Totally epic!
This is the absolute best way to see Palermo! Pietro and Fabrizio are amazing. The CruiserCar is so comfortable. I rarely do reviews, but I highly highly recommend this.
Awesome! Friendly and really knowledgeable with the whole family—put both adults and kids at ease and explained everything clearly. Well-organized tour, no rushing; we saw all the highlights in just a few hours. Highly recommend if you want someone skilled, fun, and great at managing a group.
The best!!!!! Fabrizio was patient and knowledgeable with our entire family. Would highly recommend to see everything in a few short hours.
Fabrizio, our tour guide was amazing. He was knowledgeable, very easy to understand, and did an excellent job showing us the sites and explaining the history. Just make VERY sure there are no reports of extreme hot weather/fires, etc. We were on a cruise and the fires on the roads from Palermo to Catania closed the roads, so our bus ride back to Catania took seven hours instead of two, which means we missed our ship leaving the port for two days. Other than that, the tour itself was amazing!
Fantastic tour, guide, vehicle, and accommodations!!! We loved the information shared, the stops we made, and the snacks/beverages provided. They made the whole day amazing!!
We've had a fabulous time on this trip. The guides were in the best mood ever and showed us stunning places. And thanks a lot for the great choice of drinks (there were beers I never tried before) and snacks. We would definitely do it again!
Very pleasant guide, knowledgeable of area and historic sites
We had a great tour with Fabrizio and Pietro. Fabrizio is very passionate about Palermo’s history and we learned a lot from him. The pick-up was puncutal and they arrived even slightly earlier. We had great snacks and the athmosphere in the car was fun and pleasant. They even organized non-alcoholic prosecco upon our request, which was very nice. We were here as part of a bachelorette trip and we liked the cultural aspect and the convenience of the car very much. You can see all the main attrachtions comfortably and with style. We also had enough time at each stop. Our highlight was Monreale Cathedral. I would only note that the catacombe stop is something to research before going as it may not be for everyone, even though it is a main Palermo attraction. We skipped the market as we have already been therey They can accommodate the tour a bit like you wish.
Worth every penny! Three couples, 6 hours, we saw more this way than we would have any other way. Antonio has to be the best driver in the area and Fabrizio was beyond knowledgeable on every site we stopped at during the drive. Would highly recommend the tour and Antonio and Fabrizio.
The tour was great and the cruise car made it extra special. Car came with snacks drinks, prosecco all in an ice cooler. I would highly recommend this tour.
What a wonderful tour. It began when my family was picked up at our hotel on time where we were introduced to our guide Fabrizio and driver Antonio. The 6 hour tour showed us many interesting sites in Palermo. Our guide was very knowledgeable and explained many details about each location. The snacks and beverages were much appreciated during the tour. We highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore Palermo.
Wonderful experience!!! We brought our 8 month old baby and the driver & guide gave us 5 star service and very knowledgeable. We’re super accommodating with an infant. Highly recommend !!
Pietro and Antonio were awesome. They picked us up from the hotel with a warm welcome Antonio was our driver and an excellent one at that. Pietro was so knowledgeable about Italy, the history, the attractions etc. he was also so passionate about it We especially loved the Cathedral of Monreale. Pietro walked us through the history, how to walk though it and shared a book with how it was built and organized It was the most magnificent cathedral we have ever been to. It had the story of the Bible from one end to the other We thoroughly enjoyed the trip sitting in the heck of the cruiser car with beautiful views, snacks and prosecco We would highly recommend this experience
Fabrizio and Antonio were an absolute delight. They were so knowledgeable and showed us many places that otherwise we may have missed. What an easy way to get around to see all of the sights of Palermo.
Fabrizio, the tour guide, was utterly amazing! His knowledge of Palermo and its history truly made the tour memorable. Antonio, the driver, was a lot of fun and added humor to the tour. Both gentlemen truly made the tour special. Highly recommend!
Worth the time and money. Tour guide and driver were excellent. If you only have a day, its a good way to get a lot in a short time. It’s nice to have the open top ride to take everything in. Comfortable ride.
We did the Grand Tour in CruiserCar in Palermo and had such a fun and memorable experience. From the moment we got off the boat, the team made us feel like celebrities—such a warm and welcoming start that really set the tone for the day. Alessio was fantastic—kind, patient, and he captured some beautiful photos of us that we’ll truly cherish. The stops were scenic and well chosen, especially the beach and cave, which were definite highlights. It felt like a really special way to experience Palermo. The added touches like snacks and Prosecco were a nice addition, and we appreciated the recommendations they shared for lunch afterward. It all added to the overall experience and made the day feel thoughtful and enjoyable. Having the experience feel even more seamless would take it to the next level—especially for visitors who aren’t sure what to expect along the way. A quick heads-up to bring euros ahead of the market stop would’ve helped us fully enjoy that moment, and while the Prosecco was a lovely touch, we ended up not opening it while driving since we were worried about spilling it and thought we might have a more relaxed moment to enjoy it at a stop. Little cues around when to pause, enjoy, or take advantage of certain moments would make everything flow even more effortlessly. Overall, we had a great time and would absolutely recommend this tour—especially if you’re looking for something fun, different, and a little VIP while exploring Palermo.
Such a fun experience to see Palermo in the cruiser car, it is definitely a wow! Our guide Fabrizio and driver Antonio were fantastic! Very kind, informative & funny! Definitely recommend!
This was so much fun. The CruiserCar was simply the best mode of travel for learning about Palermo. It was a beautiful day, and was the most peaceful excursion on our trip. We saw beautiful sites, learned a lot of history, had some fantastic food, and just simply relaxed. Best driver and guide we’ve met!
We booked a tour of Palermo for 14 people on April 1st. Pietro and his team picked us up directly at the harbor and guided us through Palermo. It was a fantastic experience for everyone, and we highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience Palermo in a special way.
Alesio was friendly & knowledgeable. Really had a good time getting a general overview of Palermp.
Love the tour and guides gave great information about the history of Palermo .
The 3-hour tour felt rushed. Wish we had time to meander around Monreale or at least take in the panoramic views on the drive to/from. There were plenty of snacks and beverages as advertised. A head-turning way to see the city. Excellent guide, a wealth of knowledge to share with my family.
What an amazing experience! Would highly recommend. My tour guides were the best! So informative, very pleasant and courteous. They gave us time to get out at each spot and walk around, and take pictures. Which made the experience even better. They offered snacks and drinks during the tour. Played music of our choice. We got to listen to one of my favorites Italian-American actor/singers, Dean Martin. The vehicle was comfortable, and the roof was open, which made viewing everything even better. They had blankets on hand because it did start to get a little chilly. Our tour guide’s driving was very safe. Really enjoyed all parts of this tour. Thank you so much (Grazie Mille) to my 2 guides.
Cruiser car excursion in Palermo was the BEST! The passion Pietro & Fabio have for this city & country is contagious. We had a remarkable day & saw so many wonderful, historical, and cultural things. We were treated like royalty & family all at the same time. We all fell in love with not only this city but also our guides who now are part of our family.❤️ HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
My confirmation for this tour has Villa Rosa dei Venti as the pick up point for several weeks, it wasn't till after payment before I was informed they couldn't pick us up there, this incurred an additional $160 euros to get us to the meeting point, for an already expensive three hour outing ($800 for two) it turned out to be nearly $1000.00! It is not worth it.
What we really love about this experience are the personalised touches — the chance to enjoy a guided city tour in the comfort of a spacious, well-equipped, and cosy cabin. The guide was very informative and accommodating. The panoramic viewpoints definitely create memorable images but the complimentary Prosecco, soft drinks, snacks and music onboard enhances the overall experience. It also includes hotel pickup and drop-off, making it a smooth, simple and stress-free arrangement.
We had a wonderful time touring Sicily with our tour guide ,Alessio, who was so friendly and kind. Alessio was full of information about Sicily and all the stops we made. He told us about all the areas and was happy to take pictures at all the beautiful views of Sicily. Pedro drove thru the busy streets and up the climb of Mt Pellegrino - we felt safe. He made us feel comfortable and safe thru the tour. Very nice as well. Two wonderful guides. We enjoyed Prosecco, cold drinks & snacks which made everything for a beautiful day! Definitely book this tour you will be very happy you did. Fun relaxing tour. Sicily is gorgeous and we felt very special in our cab car tour. Caio Bella!! Elaine & Bill
This was an amazing experience!!!!! As we drove through Palermo, it was evident that this open cruiser city tour was the best way to learn about the history and culture of Palermo. There were stops on this tour that we would not have made a priority and we are so glad we had the opportunity. Fabrizio and Antonio were incredible hosts. Antonio was so funny and Fabrizio was passionate about sharing his beloved city with us. The ride had a hospitality chest full of snacks and drinks. Both Fabrizio and Antonio were accommodating to our requests. We purchased the 6-hour tour and could have spent more time with the Antonio and Fabrizio, especially in the market; we needed more time for shopping. When Fabrizio wasn’t sharing history or culture with us, he played a fabulous mix of music. One helpful hint: if you are touring with anyone hearing impaired, have them sit in the seats closest to the driver and guide so they can hear better. There is not an audio speaker to the back seats. 10/10-we would do this tour again. Well worth the investment of time and money.
Best tour in Palmero. Alessio and our driver went out of their way to make sure we saw what we wanted to see. Cruise ship did not have hearing aid batteries and I could not find them on my other stops, Petrio, our driver, I believe his name was, called a guy and met us on the street with hearing aid batteries. Love those two Sicilians! They had snacks and drinks for us! Played Italian music. Had a great time! No better tour!!
The driver and tour guide were OUTSTANDING! The whole experience was very entertaining and educational at the same time. The only drawback to the whole experience was that we had an afternoon time slot in Palermo from about 3 PM to 6 PM. It should be noted that we sat in traffic for a good 45 minutes. Of course this could not be helped, but it would have been nice to know that this was the situation in advance. I may have booked a morning tour instead. At $395.00 per person, this was a pricey experience that I’m not sure was entirely worth it.
It was an absolutely fun and informative tour. We got to see so much of Palermo that we normally would not have experienced on our own. The driver and tour guide were outstanding. Highly recommend!
The tour company decided it had overbooked the tours and cancelled our booking at 11:00pm est the night before my booking. Absolutely, devastating when you take a once in a lifetime trip to Palermo to walk out of the boat to find out you did not have the tour you booked months earlier cancelled. You didn’t know a week ago of the overbooking. Absolutely no time to adjust and make other plans. I actually was on the flight to Italy when the company sent a text through Viator versus trying to reach me directly. I have used Viator for years with nothing but a fantastic experience. This company wins the award for ruining that streak. Very disappointing
Very unique way to tour Palermo. Excellent tour guide. Highlight of our tour yo Palermo. Recommend highly
