We had a wonderful evening with Giulia. From our greeting at 6:15pm to when we departed at 9 pm, she gracious, fun and knowledgeable. We had a great time and went to restaurants we never would have found ourselves but we're all special in their each unique way.

Benedetto’s English was very good. He was fun and warm and we had a good time.
Giulia was our guide for this eclectic tour, and we could not have asked for a better one. For around 3 hours, she regaled us with fun, exciting and historical information about the locations we visited. We tried food we'd never thought we would eat, such as an anchovie pizza, which was actually quite delicious. We ate at a location that had been in existence for centuries. I won't spoil it by telling you what it was, but you will figure it out. The wines were local and excellent. We visited places we had not seen before, which made it more exciting for us. We highly recommend this tour and spending time with Giulia is a real treat.
Mauro was our guide. Very knowledgeable. Great small group.
Had a great time. Lots of good food, wine and friendship.
Benedetto was friendly and informative...the food was delicious too . Good way to spend our first evening in Palermo.
Guisi was a great guide, very knowledgeable and really shared her culture with us. Each of the 4 stops we made was carefully chosen and gave us a chance to try authentic local cuisine. The portions were perfect and we had a truly enjoyable evening.
We had a wonderful evening. The food was delicious and the choice of locations was perfect. Giusi was an exceptional guide who was friendly and informative throughout. A definite must for a visit to Palermo.
Giulia was a fantastic guide. She was so personable and knowledgeable about Sicilian food. We tasted the most delicious dishes. I highly recommend this food tour.
We had a great walking food tour of Palermo with Benedetto as our guide. He was informative and entertaining. The food stops were fantastic and were stuffed by the end of it. Highly recommend this tour with Benedetto!
Benedetto was a fantastic guide and was very engaging and informative about Sicilian food culture and wines. He provided a lot of historical information about how certain recipes came into existence. He was able to get the group to interact with each other making it a very fun evening. I highly recommend this tour and if you can get Benny, you'll be very fortunate! I felt like the fee was reasonable was perfect.
Our guide, (Benny) was great...fun and knowledgeable. The restaurants (all) were very mediocre and not at all what I expected.
Giusi was fantastic!!! She provided us with a wonderful experience! We were only visiting Palermo for one afternoon/evening but Giusi gave us such a relaxed yet detailed insight into this eclectic and beautiful city!! We loved it!!!!!
This tour was fantastic! Inno was a great guide and kept us entertained with stories and history throughout the tour. The food vendors were lovely and all the food was delicious. My favorites were the bacon wrapped sausage and the cannoli at the end. Highly recommend!
Fantastic way to see, learn and taste old Palermo. From seeing pizza made to tasting the freshest cannoli, we had a great time. Highly recommend our guide, Benne!
The perfect food and wine tour with the most amazing guide, Giulia! My mom and I had a wonderful experience and would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the local cuisine in Palermo. Not only did we try spectacular food, but Giulia also taught us about the history of each of the locations we visited. 10/10 experience!
We really enjoyed this walking food tour with Mauro. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, the food was delicious, and the stops were well chosen. It was a great way to experience local food and drinks. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Palermo.
Very nice and loved the food and history and Mauro was a great guide
Mauro was amazing. He was a great guide and I would read it a 10 out of 10 experience with him.
Benedetto is a knowledgeable guide. He curated an authentic tasting experience of the multicultural influences infused into the foods of Palermo.
Bene our guide was amazing and introduced us to the heart and gastronomic delights of Palermo. Recommended!
Such a great experience. Mauro was informative and fun. Great to have so may different types of food in one location.
Let me preface this by stating that I have done both the Rome and Florence tours 10 years and maybe 7 years ago. The Palermo guide, Mauro, was exceptional in his history and story telling and made the evening very enjoyable! The best guide out of all three tours. The quality of the food was not as good as the other two tours. Pizza as your main meal in Palermo, compared to bistecca in Florence or various pasta dishes in Rome, just doesn’t compare.
Fantastic experience in food and culture and history of Palermo and Sicilily
Mauro was a fantastic guide, I would recommend.
Juicy was our tour guide. She was awesome. We visited authentic and tasty restaurants where we tried local cuisine and Sicilian wines. The tour lasted about 3 hours. Juicy was recovering from a cold, but she managed to provide us with an insightful and wonderful tour of Palermo. Best pizza I have ever had on this tour. I would highly recommend this tour!
We enjoyed the tour very much. Benny was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and good company. Choice of restaurants and food and drink was excellent. Gave us a great insight to Sicilian food culture and restaurants to revisit during our stay.
Benny, our guide was terrific! Very informative and personable. We had a great evening and great food! Great first night in Palermo!
So great! Giusi was amazing!!
Absolutely outstanding. Giusi was amazing and a treasure trove of information, not just about the food, but also history, culture, etc. Showed us places we would never have found on our own and had many more great recommendations for the days to come. The food, drinks and service in the different locations was above reproach. Can absolutely recommend.
Amazing tour. Learned a lot and highly enjoyed the food. The four stops we went to all were different but still very amazing.
Excellent way to experience Palermo decided at the last minute to book a food tour and so glad we did we were fortunate to make our own pizza, drink wine, learn about the wonderful history of Palermo from Bennie a true local and find some historical gems. We even had some food at a restaurant that was previously a brothel the entire city comes to life at night and you will not be disappointed. The food and culture is amazing and the tour is a wonderful way to experience both!
Anchovies and eggplant. I’d loved more variety for the price of the tour. We were served “authentic” Sicilian pizza with tons of tomatoes but never saw this at any other restaurants in Sicily. Just keep it simple please.
Just got back to the hotel from this tour with Benni. The food was delicious & so was the wine. I took my parents on this tour after a long day of flying. We were able to get a taste of everything & our guide did an amazing job explaining the food, its origin, & how it gained popularity in Sicily. We were also able to scope or places we want to go back to or points he pointed out during our walks. The highlight for me was listening to him & my 82 year old dad discussing the process of making olive oil. Def recommend this to anyone wanting an intro to Palermo!
So much fun. Great food and great stories. Would definitely recommend and do again! Great immersion to Palermo food and culture
Our guide Inno was very knowledgeable and very entertaining!! So much fun!! And the food was delicious (even with all of my limited options due to being gluten free and lactose intolerant—they were so accommodating!) . If you’re looking for a different experience in Palermo this is a must do!
We had a fantastic tour with Giusi, she was friendly, chatty, told us some great stories, and showed us some excellent places. We had 5 in total on the tour which was the perfect size. My highlight was the Sicilian pizza. We got great value for money, and at no point did the tour seem too long. Overall we would highly recommend this tour
The evening food & wine walking tour was great way to experience several foods and explore out of the way places I likely wouldn’t have otherwise found. Our tour guide, Mauro, did an excellent job of explaining the food as well as providing a great deal of historical information. I would definitely recommend this tour in Palermo.
My husband and I went on the Palermo Food and Wine Tour with Innocenzo from the Princess ship Star. We had a great time. Innocenzo shared interesting information about Sicily’s history while we strolled the streets. And then we stopped at pre-arranged restaurants to have a light meal/course. We started with morning with amazing almond biscuits and Innocenzo even shared how to make them. We moved on to several tasty snacks (I wish I remembered what they were called), then delicious pizza, where we each got two types of pizza. And finally areal sicilan cannoli (we learned the singular is connolo - sorry Innocenzo if I misspelled that). We learned so much about the history, got to taste the food at restaurants where locals eat. Innocenzo had a nice casual pace and gave plenty of time for us to ask questions as we walked the city. He shared fun information along with much more serious historical facts in Sicily’s long history. I highly recommended this tour when you’re in Sicily.
Excellent tour and even better guide. Giusi was amazing. I definitely recommend this company. Extremely knowledgeable and personable. Spoke excellent English.
Giusi was the perfect host. We got to try many Sicilian foods in several areas of Palermo. Guisi’s local knowledge and sense of humour made for a thoroughly enjoyable night. Highly recommend doing this early in your visit to Palermo to discover areas you want to explore further!
I wasn’t impressed with the food selection. Almost everything was eggplant and or anchovies. I would have liked more variety of Sicilian foods and drinks.
Learned so much, everything was delicious and freshly prepared. Benedetto was a brilliant guide and really made the experience top notch
Renovated brothel for dinner was interesting, the 4 tastings that we had there were definitely my favorites. Also the atmosphere was great and learning the history behind the places is perfect.
A great experience with Guisi visiting and eating at a number of restaurants to taste the diversity of local foods. Also had some good wines to pair with the food
It was a very good tour and our tour guide was amazing! Very entertaining. Only thing I would improve is headphones to hear a little better.
Guisi was so knowledgeable about the city of Palermo and the food, his story of dishes, etc. Her passion for the city, the people, and the food made for a very special tour of Palermo. Great personality and a very fun tour.
Excellent a very good tour recommend it to everyone that comes to Palermo . The food was excellent , the explanation and so fun
I've been to Palermo many times, but I had never done a formal tour. I'm thrilled that I finally decided to sign up and explore new places with a local guide. I absolutely loved it! Giusi was knowledgeable, has a great personaliry, and gave us an amazing tour. The food was delicious (and plentiful) and the wine was excellent. Highly recommended!
Absolutely phenomenal experience! Our food tour in Palermo with Innocenzo was one of the highlights of our entire trip. From the very beginning, Innocenzo struck the perfect balance between guiding us through the vibrant streets and markets, and offering deep, thoughtful insights into the history and culture of Palermo. What made the tour so memorable was how seamlessly he wove fascinating historical context into each stop — whether we were tasting street food in the heart of Ballarò or standing in front of centuries-old architecture, Innocenzo brought the city to life through his storytelling. He managed to keep the pace moving so we never felt rushed, yet there was always time to pause and really appreciate what we were seeing (and eating!).
