Sergio was an excellent driver and frankly functioned as a tour guide as well. He was on time and patient with us as we were waiting in the incorrect spot. We had a wonderful day touring. Siracusa and Ortigia. He recommended a fabulous place for lunch in Ortigia on the water. I would highly recommend Sergio!

Itinerary
The tour, starting from your establishment , will reach Syracuse by highway, the most beautiful and largest former Greek colony in Sicily, where the important Archaeological Park Neapolis is located which houses most of the city’s classic monuments such as the famous Greek Theatre, the Roman Amphitheatre, the Latomies of Paradise and the Ear of Dionysus. The park is the most representative area of the ancient Greek city, with large green spaces from where, on foot, you can reach many of the archaeological monuments through an ancient Roman road.
Afterwards, you will reach the small island of Ortigia, jewel of the city center of Syracuse. There you can decide to have lunch in one of the typical Sicilian restaurants, taste fish and local dishes (Extra charge)
Among Greek temples, Christian churches, Arab streets and important ancient palaces, you will visit the suggestive Piazza del Duomo and the splendid Fonte Aretusa, a meeting place between reality and legend and one of the most beautiful monuments of the city. You will take a tangible journey from the Greco-Roman to the Arab-Byzantine period, from the Spanish to the Bourbon era. * We recommend, comfortable clothing and shoes, suitable for an outdoor excursion. *Departure or arrival times may vary due to traffic conditions and force majeure. * Each customer can choose departure time or program variation *Including cicero driver, English speaker *Possibility to choose private Guide (extra charge)
Known as a true European Capital of Baroque, it represents the heart and triumph of Baroque: palaces, churches, monasteries, squares, fountains, open in succession as a theatrical setting that leaves you breathless. Definitely, the most beautiful kilometer of art in Europe.

Sergio is a Sicilian guide with a passion for history, food, geography; plus, he is charming and engaging. A delightful experience.
A must see experience - the architecture, historical beauty, shopping, food, views etc all make for a wonderful visit. Sergio was very knowledgable / friendly. 5 stars
This tour was absolutely perfect. However not why you would think. It's because of the man, Sergio. His love for Sicily and his knowledge is unmatched. Every question we asked, or wanted to know he not only helped but made everything so interesting. If you are going anywhere else in Sicily , he will know where to go. Noto and all the cities were amazing. My wife and I literally would do this tour 10x more ... we are suggesting him to our parents and all of our friends. It was perfect, if you are planning a tour in Sicily, this is a MUST. Not just saying that, was not even asked to leave a review. First class... perfect, and thank you Sergio
Our guide, Sergio was very knowledgeable. Went above and beyond in making our tour very worthwhile. He made this a very good experience. We highly recommend Sergio and this tour.
Sergio was an exceptional driver and host! He took us to hidden gems in Catania where the locals eat and gave us true taste of authentic Sicilian culture. We discovered parts of Sicily we never knew existed — an unforgettable experience
My wife and I travel extensively throughout the world. We often hire a local private guide to explore places travels shows and books do not cover. While in Taormina, Sicily we met Sergio. Sergio was our private tour guide for our entire trip. His car was very clean, smelled fresh (new car smell) and provided my wife and I incredible comfort. However, it was Sergio who made this trip one of our best ever! Sergio is kind, caring, compassionate, proud and incredibly knowledgeable about Sicily…history, culture, food and places. He has a unique way of explaining things through fact based stories. We explored private local vineyards, lunched at a family owned restaurant in a small Sicilian village (best meal of the trip) and hiked Mount Etna (fortunately, it was quiet 😊). I have recommended Sergio to many family and friends and upon their return have called to thank me for introducing them to Sergio. My wife and I plan to return to Sicily in September 2026. I have already reached out to Sergio to ensure he is available….he is! Sergio is a must if you visit Taormina, the surrounding cities and towns or anywhere else in Sicily!
Grazie Sergio for a wonderful day! Your love for Sicily is infectious and we appreciate all you shared with us-history, food, quality!!!! Ci vediamo —Ciao!
Sergio was so great! He showed us around Noto and Ortigia. His restaurant recommendations were top notch! Will definitely book more tours with him the next time we are in Sicily
Sergio was a true professional, very helpful in all of our planning. We really hired him just as a driver, and he instantly assumed the role of a “guide.” But in a very positive way. Clearly, very knowledgeable of his country and very proud of it. But not overbearing at all. English was fantastic, insights were very helpful. Book that I want and wine tasting at a fantastic vineyard completely on the fly! Would use him again or recommend him to a friend 1000 times over! Such a nice guy-I hope to stay in touch!
I’m an American/Sicilian. My family is from the west side of the island. This is our first experience to the east side. Sergio made it an amazing experience. We stopped in Notto, Siragusa and Ortigia. We took some amazing pictures and Sergio’s knowledge of the area and his explanation in English was fantastic. We stopped for a coffee and granita at a local place in Notto away from the touristic traffic and it was delicious and less expensive than the center. We later had a bite to eat at an amazing panino place in the market of Ortigia. The market is something to see and experience. Fresh fish, nuts, herbs, olives, souvenirs and amazing food. We are very happy to have booked this tour. I highly recommend and please ask for Sergio.
Sergio did a fabulous job of showing us around. He was extremely knowledgeable of the history and culture of the area. He made reservations for us at a great restaurant that was not at all expensive. It was an enjoyable day from beginning to end! Highly recommend him as a guide!!!! Thank you Sergio!
Great day visiting 3 beautiful cities, with a reliable efficient driver. He was able to take us to some very remote areas that we would not have known of and we enjoyed his company as well
Best tour of our whole trip. Sergio was FANTASTIC! He loves his city and his enthusiasm was contagious! He was funny and took us to amazing places with great views. We changed our plans that morning and decided to tour Taormina instead and we were amazed by the views and beauty of the places Sergio took us too. He did a great job of suggesting restaurants (best Canolli EVER!!) and things to do and was very clear and prompt on where to meet so we had time to enjoy on our own but never worried about making it to the cruise ship. You MUST do a tour with Sergio!!
We had a most enjoyable experience touring Taormina and Castelmola with Francseco. His knowledge of the area and his command of English were wonderful. We would never want to try this drive ourselves, as there were winding roads and heavily trafficked areas. We highly recommend touring with Francesco!
Excellent service from Sergio 100% All his recommendations and guidance were very good Drives very well
We were picked up on time in a beautiful, new Mercedes van. Our guide Sergio and was the perfect blend of historical tour guide, relaxed friend filling us in on everything from Italian politics to local funny story’s. And then quite periods. He immediately hones in on what you might prefer to see and is happy to change plans. Id mentioned how I love small villages over tourist filled landmarks, and he took us to an enchanting little fishing village for lunch, which felt like a movie set (see photos). I loved that he wasn’t nonstop talking which for me is fatiguing. He’d let us just take things in and enjoy what we were seeing. He is special, and we now feel a little invested in him and the charming life he’s carved out for himself. The tour was perfect and we would recommend it whole heartedly!
Please take any trip you can with Sergio and his cousin Carmello. Both speak perfect English and are very knowledgeable about Sicily. We had great time with our trips. They are superb!
Syracusa and Ortigia are beautiful cities and Sergio and his team do a great job! They are passionate about Sicily and it shows!
What a great day tour from Taormina thanks to Sergio our tour driver. He gave us an historical overview on the way to Syracuse and shared many helpful tips for our stay in Taormina. The highlight of the trip was Ortigia. Sergio walked us around the island. We saw the key sites, strolled through an outdoor market and stopped to eat a delicious panini.
Sergio is a fantastic tour guide. On the way to Siracusa he gave a an entire history lesson of Sicily and things that we should be prepared for once we arrived at Siracusa and Ortigia. Throughout the entire day he took his time showing us all of the historical items and site seeing opportunities along the way. Most importantly he was knowledgeable about all the sites and the areas PLUS he took his time and we never felt rushed. We can’t compliment Sergio enough. I would highly recommend requesting him for this tour.
