Amazing! Our tour guide was exceptional, very knowledgeable and so kind and patient. He was helpful with a few people in our group that needed assistance on the rocky terrain parts. I took his business card and will definitely be giving it to some neighbors who plan to travel to Sicily/Mt. Aetna.

Excellent tour by itself, but our guide Alessandro and the team of Enoteca dell'Etna made it special. It was not clear from the description, but tasting of local products are included, which was a plesant experiene. Thank you!

Incredible, one of the highlights of my entire Sicily trips. The guide was knowledgeable, yet quick with lighthearted jokes. The lunch with four different types of wine tasting was amazing. It was followed by small shots of liquor. Everyone in the group left happy and a bit topsy-turvy.

Easy to book with clear instructions of where to meet. Giuseppe was very knowledgeable and friendly and we learned a lot. Interesting visit to a lava tube cave. Unfortunately we had bad weather and Etna was shrouded in fog and rain, so we were unable to hike. Instead we had an interesting talk about volcanic activity and the fauna/ flora. The wine tasting and lunch was an exceptional experience and we loved every minute of it.

The tour was overall ok. I had written to them before leaving for our trip to Sicily and asked if hiking shoes were needed and their response was that you can use your sneakers , but you can rent hiking shoes with them. I took this as hiking shoes were optional ( sneakers were fine per the tour response ) after we got to Etna the tour guide insisted that hiking shoes were needed to continue on the tour and that they were available to rent. Since we didn’t come prepared we decided to stay at the parking area that had other trails that you could walk with sneakers and we just waited for the rest of the group to return from their crater hike. Be prepared to climb down into the caves and be able to climb out. I did like the small group of 8 so you could follow and hear our guide explain what we were seeing. The wine tasting was excellent, paired with food . This tasting in set in a restaurant. There no are vineyards to visit . This is a good introduction to both Mt. Etna and wine tasting .

This tour is a must do in Catania. Our tour guide was Bruna and I had an amazing time. Bruna knew exactly what to do at Etna, provided a lot of helpful context, and the lunch was a great opportunity to relax after hiking. A couple things I’d keep in mind: Dress for a hike, the cable car up starts at around 50 euro and going all the way up is closer 85 euro. We did the 50 euro option and hiked down because the peak didn’t have the best conditions.

Alessandro was brilliant, attentive and even after a little glitch in the morning through no fault of his own, was professional and attentive. His passion for volcanology and looking after people clearly showed and he was an excellent guide. The food and wine were unbelievable, as well as the setting. It was just a fantastic day all round, with people from all over the world. We started as strangers and ended as friends. Thank you for an unforgettable day.

This was an excellent tour of Mt Etna with our guide Itala who was very nice and knowledgeable. The landscape was amazing and we are glad we did the short hike around the craters. I recommend renting the trekking shoes or bringing your own. The lunch was excellent with the perfect amount of food. The wine pairings were also perfect for the dishes. Overall I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for the perfect mix of Etna and wine.

We had an amazing time. The pick up and drop off was extremely efficient. Florence was a fantastic tour guide who was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The food and wine was absolutely delicious and much needed after Mt Etna. This was definitely a trip of a lifetime!

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing and unforgettable tour of the lower regions of Etna (up to 2000 metres), including tasting of wines, liquors and pesto, with our fantastic guide, Alessio, whose great passion for and knowledge of Mama Etna was obvious in his every word and gesture. He is the perfect guide, gentle, helpful, knowing, and we cannot strongly enough recommend him and EtnaTribe.

Small sized family group of 5. Was not too busy. Had an excellent guide, shout-out to Alessandro. Went the extra mile to make the tour more personalized and also plan according to the needs of the group. He also spent some extra time to take us to the local Sicilian places, not crowded by tourists. He was very knowledgeable about mt Etna and explained to us about how the volcano shaped the current city of Catania.

This was our first tour of our Italy trip shortly after the most recent Etna eruption. Our tour guide Claudio made it an unforgettable experience and we even learned some hiking tips.

We did a full private day tour up to Etna with Bruna and genuinely can’t say enough about how much fun we had. She’s such a fun, easygoing guide and made the entire day an absolute blast. She also met us directly at the cruise port and dropped us back off there afterward, which made everything even easier — especially on a hot day! Mt. Etna is such a gorgeous and special place on this Earth, and everything Bruna + Etna Tribe put together really gives “Momma Etna” the respect she deserves. An easy 10/10 experience. We couldn’t recommend Bruna and Etna Tribe enough!

Was unable to go because tour does not get back to ship. Try to switch us to shorter tour for same money. Contact made once via app i didn't see. Then after final payment. Paid for never got a tour. Offered i could go on tour and miss my ship

This experience was everything we could have asked for. Angelo, our guide, was very knowledgeable. We felt that the van ride up to the mountain was worth the money by itself with how much we learned on the way. Every individual part of the experience would be worth what we payed for the whole thing quite honestly. We were very satisfied with the wine and food tasting after the mountain and loved experiencing the local food and drink. We did call to confirm the pick up point and they gave us an intersection of two roads which was slightly different from what was on the ticket, but Angelo was right on time. We got picked up at 8:30 am and was dropped back off at 5 pm. We were grouped together with a couple from France and a women from the US. Everyone was lovely. (American, 24 y/o M+F)

I' so glad I took this tour! I've been wanting to visit Mt. Etna for years! Unfortunately, I was not ready to trek up the crater with the rest of the group (it might be considered a "moderate" hike), but enjoyed sitting and experiencing the location. Our guide, Stefano, was fantastic! He had a deep knowledge of the volcano and its history. The wine and food pairing was perfect. Great food, nice wines, and the location was fantastic! I highly recommend this tour!

An excellent tour for those who would like to experience Etna and also taste wines with food.

We booked this trip as it looked interesting. The pickup at the hotel was a nice feature. We rode in a mercedes vito with six people total. In the midle and the backseat we could not hear nearly half of what the guide had to say about the history etc on the way to the etna volcano. When we arrived at the volcano we were provided with the included trekking shoes, these did not fit half of the people attending even tho we had provided the shoe sizes in advance. My partner’s shoes where in so terrible that they had holes in them and was almost falling apart. After that we were provided with 3 options, either do regular trekking around the part of the volcano were we stopped, quadbike exploration or a cable cart further up to the volcano. The last two options you had to pay an adittional fee to do (we did the cablecart further up the volcano) this was an adittional 82€ per person, we got fast track tickets. But the only fast track on this option is just the first line to buy tickets. After that there is no fast track. The trip on the top besides the 30min waiting time for the 4x4 was amazing. There we got assinged a volcano guide. Which was fluent in english, italian and french. That was really interesting experience. After that we met up with the group that took the hiking trip. They waited a good amount of time for us to come down from the mountain again. From there we went to the lava cave. That lasted for aproximatly less than 10 minutes. We went in to a cave and watched a little with the guide giving some basic history/info about it. Then we went to the wine tasting. This was the highlight of this booking. And waid up for a little of the negativ experience earlier. We tasted 4 different local wines and tasted many local food’s Then the trip went back to the hotel again. To sum up the experience it was really nice on the top of the volcano and the wine tasting. Also in total the experience wasted around 45minutes for us just in waiting time. For this price i would not recomend anyone to take this. I whould rather book a seperat experience with winetasting and a seperat with the etna to the top. Also would like to add that the whole experience was very rushed. For half the price it would be a good excursion but for this price i would not have done this again

We had an amazing time on this excursion with our guide Giuseppe! My husband and I agree that this was our favorite excursion we’ve ever done! Giuseppe was really awesome! Our whole group got along wonderfully because he created a fun, relaxed vibe, while also being very informative. The experience was very hands on and just amazing to see! We loved the wine and snacks at the wine tasting! The food and wine was incredible and we learned so much. We really enjoyed the group atmosphere and we had the perfect amount of time to socialize during the tasting. Lastly, we were able to borrow trekking shoes which were definitely needed and were very comfortable! Very pleased that they offer that with the tour! Overall, awesome experience that I would recommend again and again!

Unparalleled Mt. Etna Tour Guide - An Unforgettable Day! Guiseppe was an incredible tour guide! He was highly informative, deeply attentive to our comfort and safety, and made our entire excursion to Mt. Etna and back to our hotel absolutely wonderful. We had a group of eight, and because it started to pour rain and tiny hail, we couldn't complete the full scheduled climb. Oddly enough, the wild weather only added to the excitement of this unique experience! After the hike, we visited a local winery where the staff was welcoming and friendly. Sampling the excellent food and wine together as a group was a major highlight. To top it all off, the return trip turned out to be a massive group Karaoke session. The wine certainly helped, but it was Guiseppe's warmth, hospitality, and fun energy that truly made the day. Highly recommended!

We had a fabulous day walking around Etna and Thomas our guide was very informative on the tour. The wine tasting and lunch was spectacular to end the tour with. Highly recommend this tour.

Do not hesitate and just book this trip. Absolutely outstanding in all areas. Our tour guide, Giuseppe, picked us up right on time and we headed up the mountain. He spoke with knowledge and passion about Mount Etna. When we arrived we did the crater tunnel first then headed to our trek route. My husband at this point decided to go up to the top point and Giuseppe arranged this. Me and the other couple then trekked around the lower craters, including the Silvestri. There was ample time to get a coffee and meander amongst the shops. We then headed to the wine tasting. Unbelievable service. I though we would get a few crostini...be prepared, it more like a full meal. Four different Etna wines to pair. The winery was called Enoteca and is a community space. Absolutely beautiful. We were then delivered back to our hotel for a sleep after....just book. You'll not have an amazing experience.

Our favorite day of our Sicily trip. Great guide, volcano visit options for different ability levels, delicious food and wine tasting experience, and a lovely group to spend the day with.

We did a private tour since there were 11 of us. It was an unforgettable experience as a hailstorm occurred while we were mid hike to Etna. We were soaking but it was part of the adventure. We knew weather could change while we were there so while we didn’t think the rain would be that bad, it was definitely memorable. Our wine tasting lunch was a great treat after. There were plenty of wine and food to keep us stuffed! Would recommend this experience!

Excellent experience. We elected to walk to a recently formed volcanic crater over taking the cable car to Etna’s summit. Our guide was informed, dependable, and humorous, and the hike was manageable for a variety of skill and fitness levels. Large elevation gain to keep in mind, however. The wine tasting was delightful. We had lively conversation with other American tourists and enjoyed tasting a variety of reds, whites, and dessert liqueurs, accompanied by lunch fare over the course of about two hours.

I really enjoyed the experience and the knowledge with our tour operator Salvo R. He explained everything so well and we learned a lot about Mount Etna and the importance of it in Sicilian life. He made us feel welcome and comfortable during the hiking. I also loved the degustation of products like oil, and wine.

We really enjoyed our tour with our guide, Francesco. We were picked up at a convenient location. Francesco and the company provided helpful communication about the pick up and expectations. The tour of Etna surpassed our expectations. There was only one other couple on our tour. We all chose the hiking option rather than going up the cable car. We did not regret it. The hike was very manageable and the vistas were incredible. All the snow was gone at that level above the Refugio, but the wild flowers were in bloom which added a fantastic contrast to the black volcanic landscape. We learned so much from Francesco about the history of the eruptions and lava flows. The tasting was delicious. We were served various courses of traditional Sicilian food along with the tasting. Would highly recommend the tour!

We booked this tour through our hotel and it was brilliant. Thomas our host was brilliant, friendly and informative. The minibus was comfortable and the other members of the tour great fun. We departed the tour for a couple of hours to go up Etna on the cable car and a short trek at the top which we would recommend but remember to take clothing layers with you as what was 30 degrees in Catania became 15 degrees if not less and windy at the top of Etna! The wine tasting was great with some excellent food. All in all would highly recommend.

Bruna was an excellent guide! She was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the volcano. My only regret is that I did not wear more sunscreen!
