Mountain Bike Tour Of The Madonie From Cefalù

Never thought we would have got so high on an electric assisted bicycle. Cycled to Pollina, just under 2400 feet of altitude, from not far off sea level and the bike motor made it feel like a short cycle up, but with a great decent. We did the easier road route as we were new to electric bikes. Would love to do the trail version now. Our guide was great, he explained using the bikes and gave us practice time before we left. The route we did had us back for lunch in Cefalú, feeling like we'd had a great morning. Pollina is a gem, and parking is awful, so going on an electric mountain bike is a perfect way to visit, and get a relaxed work out at the same time.

Absolutely fantastic experience! We had an amazing guided e-bike tour in Sicily, taking us all the way to the top of the mountain and then back down again. From start to finish, it was just brilliant. The atmosphere was fantastic, the scenery was incredible, and the views along the way were absolutely breathtaking. Our guide was a real character too, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The electric bikes were excellent and made the climbs effortless while still giving you that feeling of adventure. Everything was really well organised, relaxed and fun. Honestly, it was worth every penny. In fact, I was surprised by how reasonable the price was — I genuinely think they could charge 25–30% more and it would still be great value for what you get. A fantastic experience all round and something I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Sicily. Five stars without hesitation!

This was an incredible tour! Our guide was perfect: helpful, patient, full of stories and insight about the island. The bikes were great throughout the ride! The top of the mountain is an absolute dreamy town and the lookout from the peak was just tremendous. We are a family of 4, with 2 teen daughters. We took the decent with some caution and watched our speed as we are not frequent mountain bike riders. We all loved it so much and we adored our guide Emanuele. 11/10!!!

A fantastic ride up from the coast to a beautiful hilltop village with stunning views out to the Aeolian islands, a distant view of Mount Etna, and across the Madonie national park. Highly recommend, just make sure you're reasonably confident on a mountain bike. The electric bikes make it pretty easy! Bravo!

We had an amazing time on this bike tour, easily one of the highlights of our trip! The guides were incredibly friendly, fun, and great conversationalists, and everything from pickup to instructions was communicated clearly and smoothly. The ride itself was exhilarating — definitely a workout on the way up, so you’ll want to be comfortable on a bike and reasonably fit, but the e-bike assist makes it manageable while still feeling like you earned it. The views were absolutely spectacular, and the ride down felt like a roller coaster in the best way. Exploring the charming little town of Polina, stopping for a coffee, and taking in the history and ruins made the whole experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!

This was a thrilling ride up into the Parco Madonie with Emanuelle as guide. And then a thrilling ride down on the e-bikes. The view from Pollina was breathtaking. Our guide was engaging and lively. Highly recommended!

A wonderful experience visiting beautiful Pollina on the mountain bike. Emanuel picked us up right on time. He was the perfect guide for this trip, which even included off-road riding and biking through the narrow streets. I would recommend it to everyone!

Fantastic bike ride with great guide. We did a 1 km ascent up to Pollina and back. The battery bikes are a great help and it was all very easy. Some truly amazing views as well. I personally think it was a bit overpriced but still a great activity

A little mountain bike/e-bike experience is recommended. Emanuele was a very good guide who tailored the trip to our abilities. The bikes are great, make easy work of the hills on the coast road. Lovely stop for coffee. Fantastic views. I imagine the full 1000 meter experience would be even better!

Emanuele is amazing, had a great time on this tour! We stopped at Pollina (not Castelbuono) which turned out to be even better. Super impressive top view and cute village. Also kind of secluded so you don't have crowds. The bike is top notch and easy to ride even in the steeper roads. Truly priceless to experience the beautiful Madonie region this way. We were a party of 7ppl ages ranging from 15 to 70+ and Emanuel was great. Due to a wide range in abilities he made the decision to take the coastal route rather than mountain and I trusted him and felt safe with that decision. It was a lovely leisurely cycle and he kept a close eye on the less confident members of the party. We stopped at a beautiful spot for coffee that we would never have found on our own, so beautiful we went back a few days later. I would highly recommend Emanuel, he knows his stuff, the bikes are great and he is a nice person. Thank you Emanuel 🙏

Ema is a wonderful guide. He is very knowledgeable about mountain biking, nature and the history of the Madonie area. The highlight for me was riding through the medieval town. The views are spectacular as well as the ride. Two thumbs up!!

Emanuel was awesome, the bikes were easy to ride, for those who don’t ride - may take a minute or two but the electric helps you traverse up great hills and length. The top of the mountain was amazing and so worth the trek. If you want to do something a little different and adventurous besides the usually in Cefalu def give this a try!!

Incredible views, easy riding and a great guide. Although the town of Pollina seemed beyond reach, we got there! The bikes were easy to use, there was very little traffic and the town was lovely

This is a fantastic day out, exploring Sicily on an e-bike. We visited an archaeological site, a village with a great church and wonderful views and had a picnic in a taverna, before descending on a great off-road path. Everyone (from our 11-year old, teenager and the older kids on their early 20s) had a fantastic time and Emanuele and Vincence looked after us very well. Highly recommend it!

We organised this for my aunts birthday and had an absolute blast! Emanuele was brilliant and super helpful. We had minimal experience with mountain biking however the ride picked was challenging and rewarding but certainly achievable for all in our group. We rode through a small village and were the only tourists in sight which seems to be an absolute rarity in European summer. The views at the spots we stopped were unforgettable. The Tusatrophy-Escursioni team made our experience very special and I couldn’t recommend this enough. If we had more time in the area we would have organised another trip with the company as the service was super friendly and outstanding.

The e-bike tour of Madonie Park up to the village of Pollina at the top was fantastic! Our guide was very friendly and took good care of us, even changing a flat tire. The scenery was amazing, especially from the top overlooking the beautiful countryside to the sea. Highlight of our trip to northern Sicily! Highly recommend!

Biking with Emanuale was a great adventure! It was a fun biking trail and we went to the top of the mountain to beautiful scenic village. I will come back for a multiple day tour with Eman and this company next time. I am an experienced mountain biker and my friend was not. Eman customized our trip for all levels so we both could have a fun challenge. It was easy to take the train from Palermo to Cefalu and meet our guide. I highly recommend this tour as a way to experience the beauty in this area.

A fantastic tour with Emanuele as a guide. He picked us up by car at an agreed meeting point and drove us to the bike garage where the trip started. De tocht omhoog naar het bergdorpje Pollina, een prachtige route waarbij we ook regelmatig stopten om foto's te maken. Door de kronkelstraatjes van het mooie dorpje. De toelichting door Emanuele onze gids. Alles was goed geregeld. Alleen jammer dat je niet kon boeken met mogelijkheid van annuleren (geld terug). Nu hebben wij kort van tevoren pas geboekt om die reden. Maar voor de rest top ervaring!

We had a lot of fun on the tour with Vincenzo. The bikes were good and we felt safe the whole time. We had beautiful panoramic views and Vincenzo was able to tell us a lot about the region and nature.

Emanuele is a deep connoisseur of Madonie, flora, fauna and food and wine routes. The recommended places were extremely good. Lunch prepared in a chalet at "KM 10" was very comfortable and delicious given that Emanuele searches the area and offers only selected products. Excellent guide for our E-BIKE excursion. Excellent means easy to manage even for non-experts. delicious hospitality and above all versatile programming according to guests. Absolutely worth trying.
