Very good excursion. Does require a lot of walking. We have some mobility issues and are private tour guide was very helpful. Our guide Isabella and driver Rosario were great. Godfather Church, Naughty Bar and the European Best Clocktower were special.

Paria was amazing! She kept our entire group of 16 informed, entertained, and on schedule. Her witty and sweet personality really made the tour enjoyable.

What a memorable and delightful trip we had with Pari as our guide! She was delightful and knew Sicily, its history, and its geography very well. We picked this tour to visit several cities and sites. It lasted all day, from 8:00 am to almost 5 pm. We did a ton of stuff, and the van was perfect. Thank you, Pari, for making our time in Sicily informative and giving all 16 of us an insightful look into the Sicilian way of life during our port stop in Messina. I highly recommend her!

Outstanding tour of Sicily. Pari is an amazing guide and she is knowledgeable about the local history and the surrounding towns. The first stop was to Bar Vitelli in Savoca and we got to enjoy a little movie culture from the Godfather. We were able to shift our agenda a little and hit Taormina next. Great town for shopping and Pari booked us an awesome lunch at Mamma Rosa. Our final stop was at Castelmola and a surprise visit to Bar Turrisi. Let’s just say it is an interesting stop with amazing wine and cannolis. Alberto was our driver and he got us close to all of our stops and was very prompt with pickups. An amazing tour overall and I definitely recommend asking for Pari and Alberto!

Amazing! Our guide ( mi cugino) Andrea was excellent. Prompt accommodating friendly knowledgeable. He really made the entire experience excellent. The places we visited were like postcards. He even brought us to beaches that weren’t even listed as part of the itinerary. You could feel the pride he has in his country and his passion for his job. I I would definitely Highly recommend this excursion.

We had an absolutely amazing day on this private tour in Sicily, thanks to Alberto and our amazing guide Paria. We were picked up from Messina cruise terminal in a lovely, spacious and comfortable air conditioned vehicle and taken first to Savoca the iconic village where the God Father movie was filmed, where we enjoyed coffee in the famous Bar Vitelli. Thereafter, we went on to Castelmola and finally on to beautiful Taormina. Our guide Paria was exceptional. She had a wonderful warm personality, a wealth of knowledge and such passion and enthusiasm for her job. She did everything possible to accommodate all our requests and made sure we had a truly fabulous and memorable day. We were even treated to the authentic Cannoli, the best we’ve ever tasted. It was an excellent way to see the maximum we could in a limited time. Thank you Alberto and Paria. I would whole heartedly recommend this wonderful tour!

This was a great tour. Our guide, Paria, was amazing. The first stop at Bar Vitelli was such a cool experience for those loving the Godfather movies. Taormina exceeded our expectations as we have never been to this beautiful city. Lunch at Mama Rosa’s was so delicious. Just a spectacular excursion. Highly recommended. It was a family favorite for our summer trip.

A week ago while in Messina, we took the Castelmola, Taormina and Messina tour with Messina Private Excursion. We had such an amazing day touring with Alberto and Pari that we canceled our Royal Caribbean Godfather Movie tour and booked the tour with them. We communicated effectively on Whatsapp. Alberto and Pari were highly responsive. They met us at the port on-time. We talked about the day/tour we wanted to have and we were off. We headed to Savoca. Pari provided movie scene overviews as well as the towns of Savoca and Forza d'Agro. We rocked out to Italian music along the way. We were so excited to experience Bar Vitelli, the wedding of Michael Corleone Appolonia, the wedding procession walk and more. We just loved Savoca as beyond the movie there is so much history. We toured the beautiful streets, amazing viewpoints, churchs and so much more. Next, we headed to Forza d'Agro for the amazing viewpoints, the churches, the Godfather scenes from all 3 movies, the Church scene, the scene of Michael Corlene showing kay his fathers home, and so much more. There was so much to see and history to experience here. We headed back to Messina along the coast going to the Cathedral of Messina and viewpoints. So picturesque. Pari recommended the Smokehouse Messina restaurant which was so amazing. Erfan was such an inviting head waiter. Never thought I'd have Italian and BBQ in Sicily. It was so good. Highly recommend Messina Private Excursion and the Smokehouse Messina. Alberto was once again and excellent Driver. Pari was one of our favorite tour guides of all time. Pari managed time very effectively and we were back on the cruise ship on-time. Just loved our wonderful day in Messina. Cruisers take this tour!

We had the most wonderful day on this tour visiting Savoca, Castelmola, and Taormina. Our driver Alberto, and guide Paria were amazing. The villages were beautiful and charming and we learned a lot about the history of each place. It was fun to see where the Godfather was filmed, eat the most delicious cannolo, and see incredible views of Sicily from high above. Paria took us on a beautiful stroll through the gardens in Taormina before recommending a yummy restaurant for pizza. Before returning to our ship, Alberto and Paria took us to see the famous Astronomical Clock in Messina and explained its history. We highly recommend this tour with Alberto and Paria.

Pari was a wonderful guide. We saw so many things and had some time to shop and relax. It was a full and enjoyable day. We would highly recommend this tour to get out of the cruise ship crowd.

If you’re reading this and looking for something to do in Sicily/near Messina - look no further. This is the one. We had the best day on this excursion!! Our driver took the time to contact us before the trip to confirm the meeting time and location. They were there and ready when we got to the meeting point, and were so friendly right off the bat - we knew we were going to have a good time. We got a great Sicilian history while on the road to Savoca, and spent some time there taking beautiful pictures before going to Taormina. We ate lunch (and gelato of course) and got to do a little shopping in Taormina before heading to Castelmola. Lunch was incredible - the best of our trip so far! We took more pictures in Castelmola, stopped in some shops, and had a delicious cannoli before heading back to Messina. Cannot recommend this trip enough!! Thank you both so much for such a memorable day! We had a lot of laughs and were very happy to experience a little bit of this part of the world 🇮🇹

Hana and Fulvio were fantastic and made our day very easy and memorable. We saw everything we wanted to see and never felt rushed. The restaurant recommended was great and very reasonably priced. Definitely would recommend this private tour instead of a crowded bus.

We booked this tour and Marissa was our guide. The van was lovely, the driver was wonderful and of course Marissa was informative, fun, lovely and super terrific with the kids. We went to different cities in Sicily and had a wonderful day. We saw so many interesting sites, bars, Monuments and churches, and we had a ball. Definitely do this tour!! 1st and foremost, if you can, have Hana as your tour guide and Fulvio for your driver-- They were AMAZING!!! Seeing the Bar Vitelli and the St Lucia's church from the Godfather was awesome...let alone the amazing view from way up in Savoca! Even took the lil "taxi" tuktuk up to the church!! Castelmola was beautiful-- ruined castle, beautiful streets and all the great views -- as well as Mt Etna in the background!! Hana & Fulvio surprised us with a cannoli and shot of delicious almond wine at a very fun cafe in Castelmola called Turrisi (look it up! It will surprise you!) Taormina was fabulous too! Had a great lunch at Mamma Rosa, saw a few more churches and shopped- including at a great chocolate store called Ninos & Friends. Then back in Messina Hana & Fulvio gave us a tour of the cathedral and the really cool astrological clock. It was a fun, beautiful and very informative day spent with old friends and new ones, Hana & Fulvio!! Thank you!!!

We had a beautiful and customized experience with Alberto and our guide Farla. We were able to see the most beautiful sights of Sicily and the surrounding area. Everything from the beginning was first class service with an on-time pick up straight from the Disney cruise line. The communication was very good via whatsapp. We saw the beautiful town of Savoca where the “God Father” was filmed, both the church & the bar. Then off to more beautiful views until with arrived to Taormino. Beautiful & charming town with much food and drinks to enjoy. The van was extremely comfortable and clean with plenty of bottle of water for our party of six people. Alberto offered one final stop for an amazing cannoli… most delicious. Our 6-7 hour tour came to the end at the cruise terminal with a short walk to get back on board. Very convenient and a very good value for all the time we received with a great guides. Highly recommend, 10 out of 10. One day, we will be back to spend more time in this beautiful region of Italy. 🇮🇹 ❤️

This tour was amazing despite the rain!! We were met promptly by Marisa (our guide) at the cruise port entrance. Salvatore (our driver) was waiting for us at the vehicle. Marisa offered us rain ponchos but we had our rain jackets and an umbrella with us. We started off by going to Savoca - the fog was starting to set in as well as the rain. The church was unfortunately closed but was still cool to hike up to it to get pictures. We grabbed coffee at the coffee shop to warm up at the end and headed to Taormina next. Marisa explained the sights and other things as we drove along. Taormina was beautiful - also very busy! We walked to the amphitheater first and we decided to pay the extra to go inside. We then walked along Corso Umberto as Marisa pointed out things such as the famous Dior store/alleyway. Once we got to the balcony area and talked about a meeting point we had about 1.5hrs of free time. We decided to use that time to shop a bit and eat! We chose a cute little Italian restaurant down an alleyway called Gambero Rosso - it was the BEST lasagna I've ever eaten in my life! We followed this meal up with gelato of course!! Finally we went to Castelmora which was a quaint little town where we tried the original cannoli and almond wine - both delicious!! Although we were soaked and chilled to the bone it was a great private tour with Marisa! We had a lot of fun!! Thanks for a great excursion - 5 stars!!

Today we did a private tour with Alberto and Diamond and I was thrilled so relaxed always felt safe and they always checked in. Alberto and Aurora gave us the best tour during our visit to Messina. They were very accommodating and patient with our wacky group. Our driver Nicolo Coppola picked us up at the port. Then drove us to Savoca where we saw the church and the bar from the godfather. We then drove to Taromina and got a great view of Mt Etna. Nicolo then dropped us off in taromina to do some shopping and have lunch. We then drove back to Messina and saw a cathedral and a large mechanical clock. We then enjoyed a delicious pistachio canola and granita before heading back to ship. I would highly recommend this tour.

We booked this last minute and we are so glad we did. We did the Savoca, Castelmola and Taormina tour and our guide and driver were amazing. We loved the little touches like the Savoca souvenir and the wine tasting and Cannelloni tasting. We highly recommend booking with this company.

Alberto responded quickly through Instagram & Whatsapp, & prior to our trip started, Alberto even answered my weather question & any questions that came up.. On 11/10/24 he picked us up at our cruise ship on time & dropped us off in enough time not to miss our ship. He was patient with a family member who has mobility issues. His assistant Spring was very knowledgeable about the locations we went to & as we drove provided more information about the areas Both were very friendly, respectful & felt like they were part of our family. I would definitely recommend Alberto again.
