I had never spent an entire day on a boat, but my friends found in Sweet Excursions an offer that was truly irresistible. A beautiful, well-maintained boat awaited us at a dock in the port of Syracuse. My three friends and I were welcomed by the staff who explained the day's program to us. We set off to reach Plemmirio, a large protected marine area. There, we took a nice swim in the clear, crystalline waters that are rarely found in other areas of Sicily. Following that, we enjoyed an excellent lunch with local dishes prepared on board. Then, we returned along the coasts of Syracuse to visit the various caves that are of unique beauty. Before sunset, we had a delicious apericena with local cured meats and cheeses. Then, with a sense of melancholy, we returned to the dock from which we had departed. Infinite thanks to the onboard staff and to Sweet Excursions for their professionalism.

You can feel the passion for their work, and that makes it all the more special. Highlight: swimming in the sea, in a quiet and suggestive area, which made the experience even more relaxing and pleasant. The tour we did in Syracuse was unforgettable, full of natural and historical beauties. We started our journey exploring the north side of Syracuse (famous for its sea caves) this first encounter with nature immediately kidnapped us. Next, we headed to the Plemmirio nature reserve, where the Gulf of Pillirina welcomed us with breathtaking views. The historical part of Ortigia was a revelation, like taking a dip in the past, Another highlight of the tour was the lunch served on board. The mixed appetizers and first course were delicious, prepared with fresh and quality ingredients. The opportunity to enjoy an aperitif at sunset, surrounded by an enchanting panorama, made the experience special.
