What a terrific day we had today with Marco! From the moment he picked us up right outside our hotel, Marco regaled us with insights about Sicily, the making of the 3 Godfather films, the corrolaries to Shakespeare, great tragedies of history, while showing us the iconic scenes in Forzo d’Agro and Savoca. Well paced and entertaining and he collaborated with me to slowly divulge the day’s theme as it was a surprise for my husband, who is a big Godfather fan. In addition to the Godfather insights, Marco explained significance of Sicily and the impact of WWII on the towns and surrounding villages. A really great experience.

Bruno was wonderful and very informative. He also kept taking pictures for us w/o being asked. This was a great way to see other little towns outside of Taormina.

This private tour may be one of the best tours I have ever taken. Our guide Bruno, was absolutely outstanding offering so much information, history, facts and humor regarding the making of The Godfather films. Bruno was most knowledgeable and provided a first-class experience. The lunch, which was included, was incredible. The food and the service at the restaurant was terrific. A very unique opportunity to visit the famous sites featured in the movie. We enjoyed our guide, Bruno, who was full of stories and knowledge about the history of the mafia in Sicily. Plus, we felt we were in good hands as he maneuvered the windy roads up and down the mountainside. Loved it!

Marco was “Amazing” So full of knowledge about the tour Actually born here in the area of Sicily To our surprise, was able to sing and serenade my wife to the theme of the Godfather!! Wow

This was such a fun trip made all the more memorable because of our amazing tour guide Marco. He was super knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. A must for any Godfather fan!

Omar picked us up at the port and drove us through beautiful areas to get to the 2 hilltop towns where scenes were shot for the Godfather movies. The towns were beautiful with amazing views. We had lunch at one of the restaurants in the second town (which was wonderful) and then drove back to the port. It was such a fun day and Omar knew his stuff. I would highly recommend him and this tour as well.

It’s a great experience for those of us who are familiar with the Godfather movie series. It was fun to walk in the actual settings of the movie. Omar made it extra special and was very attentive to our needs.

Went for The private Godfather Tour and it was truly a memorable experience. If you are a fan of the movie then it is worth a visit. Marco was remarkable. Very detailed, professional and passionate. Took the time to really explain the movie scenes. Lunch was at a quaint little restaurant and the food was just yummy. Overall it was a day well spent.

Bruno was an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable taught us not only about the movie but the history of the villages. The scenery was amazing and definitely an excellent choice to enjoy while in Sicily!

He was a friendly, knowledgeable and attentive guide and went the extra mile, quite literally on our behalf. Elena was our private guide. She was extremely knowledgeable. She was passionate about her job and it showed. She was very experienced driving in a highly complex terrain. She shared so many details of sights and locations of the filming of the Godfather. She took her time with us and we didn't feel rushed. Our tour couldn't have been any more perfect.

What an amazing tour! Shout out to Marco for showing us around Forza d Argo and Savoca. He was very knowledgeable and was an expert of anything godfather that was shot in Sicily. He gave us a little time to visit the shops in Savoca and to spend time with the neighborhood cats, one who wouldn’t leave his lap! We ended with a lovely lunch of antipasto, pasta, wine, and lemon granita. Was a beautiful and enjoyable day!

Bruno is exactly what you expect from a guide. He is local, speaks the language, knowledgeable, does the driving and PARKING and is very likable. He is a Godfather insider and even introduced us to local actors who were in the film. Lunch was top notch.

We booked a private Godfather tour and Marco was our driver/guide. He was awesome! So knowledgeable about the movie and where things were filmed but also about the area as he grew up in Savoca. Amazing tour.. Walking around in the villages where some scenes of the Godfather were shot was very fun.. Our guide Massimo was amazing … He was very knowledgeable about Sicily, all the villages, traditions as well as the movie, actors and making parallels with other movies.. Then Massimo brought us in a very good trattoria were the food was absolutely 😋 delicious and tasted like real Italian home cooking made of amazing fresh products.. We visited two charming towns and saw many sights they movie was filmed at. The Two highlights were having a meal at Bar Vitelli and meeting Apollonia’s mother at her home in Savoca. Bruno our guide was fantastic. Highly recommend this tour.

Bruno was very knowledgeable and friendly guide. He gave us detailed histories of Sisilian, mafia, background of film shooting of Godfather, and histories of beautiful churches we visited. We could learn about Godfather film making locations and people there much much more than we expected. Deliscious lunch at relaxing restorante was included. From Buruno, we learn how sisilian people help each other. Great private tour with highly recommended.

Lots of history of the island and stops along the way with fabulous views and scenery. And a delicious lunch included. Our guide, Bruno, was nothing short of amazing. Would give him 6 out of 5 stars if I could! Super knowledgeable, friendly and energetic, he guided us through Forza d'Agro and Savoca at the perfect pace with stops for espresso, granita and lunch. This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Sicily. Bruno our guide was fantastic.The information you get from having a guide is worth the money . The restaurant we finished at was so beautiful and the food and service was great We had granita at Bar Vitelli and it was definitely special for all of us. What a fantastic day with Massimo! Great guide, very personable and accommodating. We learned lots about Sicily and its history. We of course saw beautiful churches and Massimo was very knowledgeable. Lunch was a fixed menu at a mountain restaurant and it was spectacular.

The right guide makes all the difference. There was a fair amount of walking . The restaurant my guide, Marco, picked for lunch was excellent.

This was an outstanding tour from start to finish. Massimo was an amazing tour guide, he really knows everything about everything…. Massimo picked up at our hotel, drove us to our first destination. we walked through the cobbled streets and locations of the stunning scenes where the god father was filmed, stopped of for a espresso and a chat, back to the car and onto our next destination. This was a stunning untouched village, we walked to the churches, which were so pretty…. Stopped off at Bar Vitelli for a photo op, then on to the best 3 course traditional Sicilian Lunch to finish off an amazing day.. Well worth a visit… Massimo made our trip all worth while…..

This tour was excellent! Bruno was our guide and he delivered as promised in the description. He picked us up and straight away we were at our first sight of Mt Etna for a quick photo op. We then proceeded to the Godfatger movie locations and along the way stopped for some additional scenic photos as he explained interesting facts and history. We were able to enjoy a quick coffee before going to the second town from the additional movies and then we finished with an excellent lunch at a restraint overlooking the beautiful vistas of Sicily. I would definitely recommend this tour and thank you again Bruno you’re the best!

Just wanted to take a quick moment to say thank you to our guide Bruno, for a very special day I thought I was going on the godfathers tour but wait it was a lot more he brought us to all our favorite places in the movies and told us where shot where filmed but then explained all about the history of the towns, church’s this man was kind excited, and new everyone one. But he was not done he took us to a friend shop that sold pistachio products and some of the best olive oil I ever tasted. we where not done yet it was time for the grand finale lunch to aout of the hustle and bustle to a authentic Italian restaurant where they serve a three course lunch, the pasta was made by hand by the chef who also was a man who really cared about what he was doing. The views were fantastic from your table. the food was amazing! Due to the fact it was our first time in Sicily. He took the time to give us other fantastic local places to go to. If you’re in Tamina I would highly recommend to take the time and do the tour it was well worth it don’t miss out.

This is absolutely one of the best tours that I have been a part of…..our tour guide Marco shared in depth history and knowledge of not only the movie trilogy The Godfather but of the Sicily region as well! We all left with a deeper appreciation and love for the movie and Sicily! Marco pours his heart and soul into his role as your guide and makes you feel right at home! The Sicilian culture has a great love for family and community and bc of Marco’s very genuine and excellent delivery our family really felt a part of this great community! Our lunch was one of the best meals that we have had!

This was a fabulous tour given by knowledgeable guides Davide and Leonardo. Both men provided us with a very personalized and friendly tour. We never felt rushed. Rather, they kept telling us that “today is your day”. We moved from place-to-place at our pace, not theirs. We very much enjoyed spending our day, and our lunch, with them. They wanted to give us time to ourselves during lunch, but we could not exclude them. Thank you Davide and Leonardo!

This was by far the best tour in Taormina we did! It was more than just the Godfather movie history, it was a beautiful tour through the hill towns of the area . Bruno is by far the very best tour guide we ever had and much to our surprise and good fortune the same guide we had last April 2023. He is dedicated to preserving the beautiful and rich history of Taormina. In addition the late lunch was the very best food we had in Sicily .
