Etna: Volcano And Wine Tour In Jeep Catania City/port - Taormina

Antonio and Elena were excellent! Very friendly, personable and flexible. Etna decided to hide herself on the day, but, we still had an excellent time. Great varied stops for local produce, tastings and wine.

Jacopo was an EXCELLENT guide and the Etna Jeep tour exceeded our expectations. Really fun, comfortable and interesting. A highlight for our Taormina visit. Highly recommended.

I wanted to like this tour, and genuinely Mt Etna is very interesting. Pickup from downtown Taormina was easy. However, the value you get for what you pay for is simply not worth it. Do yourself a favor and find another tour. One of the stops was completely emitted from the tour (the Wine and Honey Tasting). Instead, we were brought to a roadside "winery", where anyone can go, and were served wine from a PLASTIC cup with zero information about the wine. No honey tasting was included either. Everything else on this tour you do is essentially free, so you are just paying for a VERY expensive ride.

Etna should not be missed. Had a wonderful day with Antonio and Eleanor exploring the non-dangerous parts. Recommend to others!

Do not book any other trip. An absolutely amazing experience. Jacobo was just the most friendly and knowledgeable guide. The tour was extremely well paced and you felt that you did not miss out on any detail. We enjoyed the visit to the winery which was not just about the wine but the locally produced condiments from the winery. The cave visit was so cool and Jacobo was so knowledgeable. Jacobo even gave us some fantastic places to visit on our way to Taormina. We had the most fantastic day.

The trip was comprehensive with nothing extra to pay. The inclusive of safety equipment was important. Our guide Max was knowledgeable and shared his experience with us. Lunch was was very good.

Amazing experience and way of seeing Etna. The lava tube was incredible and something we would never have done without this tour. Antonio and Max were amazing and so knowledgeable.

This was the perfect way for us to experience the great Mount Etna since we did not want to do any strenuous hiking. We got to see Valle del Bove and go inside a lava tube. Etna’s landscape is magical. Max was the perfect guide for us. He is very knowledgeable and has a lot of passion for Mt. Etna. We also thoroughly enjoyed the James Taylor tunes on our ride up and down the mountain.

Great tour of Mt Etna - Loved being able to see the vast lava flow fields, hike up to see the craters and going into the lava tube/cave was a great experience. Stop at winery was nice to be able to sample a few wines, olive oils and honey. Pickup at hotel was so convenient - wonderful tour guides who were knowledgeable and looked after us well. Highly recommend

Wonderful day spent today in the company of Antonio; we took a tour on Mount Etna, discovering flavors and places we had never seen before. The day went by starting from the slopes of Zafferana up to Rifugio Sapienza, passing between one lava flow and another and tasting the local honey and wine, with flavors that recall the richness of the land of Etna, which gives the soil excellent fertilizer for the plants that explode with their colors and flavors. We discovered places that I, as a person from Catania, had not seen, also thanks to his powerful and safe off-road vehicle, which took us everywhere, up to Rifugio Sapienza where we were able to enjoy excellent pasta and a good arancino. I recommend everyone to go with Antonio, who was an excellent narrator of the history of Etna. Compliments.

A fantastic experience on Mount Etna! We took the jeep tour with Antonio and his daughter: extremely professional, very knowledgeable, and at the same time warm and welcoming. We immediately felt like we were among friends. The landscapes are spectacular; seeing Mount Etna this close takes your breath away. The tasting of local wines and honeys was the icing on the cake: excellent products presented with great passion, just like the brunch with arancini they offered, which was a real delight: flavorful and generous. Wonderful staff, super attentive and punctual. Immaculate service: Staff responds quickly to your questions and are accurate in the details. Vehicles are new and well cared for. New and in excellent condition security equipment. The explanations are clear and with lots of information that help to better understand the peculiarities of the Etna region. The tour begins with our pick up at the hotel in Taormina, a stop for a Coffee courtesy of the tour in addition to other mimos like water and honey whales. The second stop was at the site where the lava of the Etna stopped moving in the eruption that lasted 3 years (from 1991 to 1993). As we climbed the Etna park, our guide explained to us the importance of Etna for local cultivation and told us some curiosities about the flower Genista aetnesis, the main raw material for the production of Chanel No. 5. We had another stop to taste the wines of the Etna and taste honey, liquors and the fire of the Etna. Until we reached the highest stop accessible by car to enjoy an arrangement. In short, it was all I expected and a little bit more :) The cordiality, kindness and affection the guides led us made everything even more special.
