Etna Morning Tour 2000 Mt.

The guide Florinda was really prepared and welcoming, but we didn't like the organisation. We were 7 and despite the fact that we told the owner, Aristide, that we wanted to be together, we discovered the very morning that they splitted us in two groups without asking. Of course we wanted to be together and tried to find a solution, but he replied rudely "this is the only solution, either we go or you stay here" without proposing any kind of refund. Eventually we asked if we could join the trip with our car and managed to take the trip together. We believe he wasn't neither honest nor helpful at all Also, we expected to walk a bit more

Very informative and fun trip to Etna. Only slight issue was the size of the vehicle transporting us. A bit of a tight squeeze!

We are a family of 6 with a 7 year old and 1 disable person. We did a private version of the morning tour. Our guides were Aristides and Daniela. They were both knowledgeable and shared many fun facts about Etna. We really felt their love towards Mt Etna! They were also very patient with our situation. My family enjoyed the tour a lot!

An amazing half day tour. Our guide Florinda was alot of fun and very knowledgeable about Mt Etna herself as well as the surrounding areas. She made the excursion very informative but also lots of fun. Seeing the craters, the lava cave and trip to local farm were all worthwhile. Highly recommend using a guide if you plan on seeing Mt.Etna.

Added value is definately guiding by Simone who is very kind and knowledgable person with passion for his work related to Etna topic. Afterwards visit of local farm with tasting of their wines, olives, pesto and honey was also very nice.

The Etna Morning Tour was amazing and our guide Leonardo was passionate and knowledgeable. The drive to Etna was amazing and we took a different route back to Catania. Our guide was patient and helped us walking thru the cave as well as walking on the lava rock of Etna. It was amazing to see a guide who truly loves Etna as well as sharing her with guests. We want to say the largest “thank you” to Marilena It was a wonderful trip! First of all Marilena was really nice and cute. We got interesting information and it was really clear, we made pauses for taking pictures and had pleasant conversations🥰 We saw amazing landscapes, we were in the lava caves (inside!!) and tried unis olives oil. To sum up, I really recommend to go to the Etna with these guys. Everything from first connections to the food were brilliant. Moreover, we found out much fascinating not only about Etna but also about Catania city.

The tour was fantastic. We had a lovely guide, Giovanni, who was very knowledgeable. Our group was small, so it was like a personal tour just for us. Really really enjoyed our morning, I’d recommend really highly.

Beautiful experience. Aristide Tomasino was a fantastic guide. He is an amazing enthusiastic person who knows the Etna Volcano from its inside out. He is graduated in Biochemistry and a fantastic High School teacher. We are grateful to have met him and we will come back to Sicily again.

Very safe, easy and interesting trip to the craters and cave and lava flows. I traveled with two young kids in the winter time and there were no issues. We enjoyed and learned a lot. Marilena, la Guida, has been very friendly, flexible, responsible and knowledgable. We also enjoyed local specialities and took some home. We faced technical issues when booking the trip day before and they appeared to be very flexible and available to secure our excursion, despite late hour of confirming. Many thanks as the issue was totally on my side!

Booked a day in advance and they were were swift to arrange all reply and arrange all details. Our guide (unfortunately forgot the name, a lady originally from the north of Italy) was great, very passionate about what she does, friendly and likable. We were in a company of another couple, so a very enjoyable 4-people tour. Would recommend, especially as it starts early in the morning and hence avoids all the big crowds coming later.

The car took us about half way and stop for coffee with the view looking amazing and the power of nature! You can also take a cable car right to the top but we decided no to. Definitely Got a better view up there.

We had a great morning tour with Luigi our guide. Experienced, very good English, lots of knowledge about the history, the geography and of course the volcanic action. He was well organised, built the tour to fit our family needs, and the whole experience was special as on our day the mountain erupted! We visited Mt. Edna with Samuela, our tour guide. She picked us up at our hotel right on time and took us to Mt. Edna. We were extremely impressed with her knowledge of volcanos and her ability to tell us about it clearly and succinctly. If you are lucky to have her assigned to you, you’ll have an excellent time. We had a lovely, lovely day.

I would like to point out here the preparation and professionalism of Aristide Tomasino, with whom we made a more than pleasant excursion on the Silvestri craters of Etna: he explained in detail the different types of volcano and how over time we determine what we see today. An exciting history of geology in which he managed to engage the attention and curiosity of all participants. Aristide is a cultured man and has not failed to make interesting historical quotations, also seasoned with the innate sympathy of the Sicilian leprechaun that he is. I highly recommend it to those who want to plan a guided tour of Mount Etna but also the Aeolian Islands.

Alberto excellent guide has illustrated 360 degrees and in many respects Etna .We visited 2000 meters craters Silvestri, tunnel scroll the friend and the Valley of the Bove. Tour suitable for everyone. The departure at 8am allowed us to visit the most beautiful places on our own despite the period. Maximum availability, many anecdotes and tips for the continuation of our journey. Particularly significant was the meeting with Mr. Sebastiano of the farm that before the tasting spoke with so much passion about his work as a beekeeper and presented his bees.

Our guide Florinda was magnificent: very prepared, nice, kind and welcoming. Despite for us it was the first time on a volcano, it made us feel welcomed and safe and gave us a wonderful spring morning to discover a unique place in the world. Excellent organization for the meeting point, with suggestions for overnight stay since we were in a camper. Met the guide, Prof Aristide, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic in his explanations of the tour, capable of involving both us adults and the children, aged 4 and 7. The presence of 2 future guides in training was also pleasant! Advised! Thanks to this tour, we discovered places that would have been difficult to find and/or reach on our own!

Waking up early in the morning for this splendid ride on Etna was really worth it. Our guide, Aristide, allowed us to have an immersive experience of Mongibello. As speleologists he took us into the lava flow caves, as explorers we walked on the lunar landscape of the Silvestri craters. Aristide entertained and entertained us by describing this fascinating lava world in detail.

Beautiful morning tour on Etna with my girlfriend! Aristide welcomed us early in the morning on his Pajero and took us to discover the wonders of this magical living creature that is Etna! Between stories, excursions and tastings, it was a fantastic experience enriched by Aristide's professionalism and courtesy. We were in Sicily for the first time, we did the excursion to Etna on August 16th. A unique experience that began early in the morning with Aristide who came to pick us up at a meeting point and together with 2 other couples we started the tour. Difficult to explain, a continuous discovery, the volcano is immensely fascinating, and it was beautiful to walk above its summits. We made a stop in Zafferana for a tasting of exceptional wines, honey and oil. Aristide made us experience an incredible visit by telling us every aspect of the volcano, super detailed and competent. We had a lot of fun! Don't let me tell you, it's a unique experience that must be lived at least once!

The weather worked in our favor and made us live one morning immersed in a unique and extraordinary landscape. We visited a cave, lava, the Silvestri criteria, the valley of the bove and a company in Zafferana etnea. Recommended! The only flaw, linked to the agency's procedures: we paid the fee, provided it was reduced, even for the child, perhaps below an age threshold it would be right not to charge the little guests.

Morning tour on Mount Etna with a very prepared and punctual guide, Aristide, already immediately illustrated the program, which among other things was already well clear from previous communications, interesting tour as a first approach to the volcano, we visited the craters at 2000 meters a cave carved by lava in a forest, exhaustive explanations and historical anecdotes really curious, breathtaking landscapes, thanks to the beautiful day, appreciated final tasting, and advice on where to have lunch apt... surely we will try other interesting tours.

Aristide loves his work and made us perceive it; we discovered the differences between the various volcanoes, we understood the close bond between man and nature that can be established in a place like Etna, we entered inside a tunnel carved by lava. A morning that literally flew away, in great company.

We chose this excursion to do with our two children aged 8 and 5. Comfortable pick up a few meters from our b & b. Our super guide Aristide was definitely the added value of the whole experience: nice and very prepared, he provided us with accurate descriptions and explanations, enriched with historical anecdotes. Never boring, he managed to involve and intrigue even the children, with whom he was very patient. Tasting of local products (oils, wines and honey) is also welcome. Absolutely to do.

Morning excursion with friends. Leaving Syracuse by train we met at the station with our guide, Aristide, who immediately proved kind as well as prepared. Despite the dancing time we managed to do almost everything, visiting remarkable points of interest and a farm, where we could taste the local products. Marilena was incredibly friendly, full of knowledge of Etna and surroundings. You felt safe in her car, even with the many winding and sometimes not very well-developed roads. It was a great experience of a private tour where we also had the opportunity to taste. Definitely aimed at tourists, but worth it! 10/10

Beautiful day spent on Etna with all family and friends. In addition to seeing beautiful views, we also visited the fresh natural caves created by lava. The kids were really excited. A big thank you to our very good guide Aristide, nice and prepared bike.

We took part in this morning hike at the end of August. We were 2 families with teenage children. Having in our group people with hypertension and asthma problems, we were forced to limit ourselves to this excursion, but we were very satisfied. The visit was led by the excellent Aristide who took us as a first stop, to visit a lava flow cave. Then we climbed to the Sapienza refuge and visited some craters and admired the wonderful landscape that can be seen from there. We left very early in the morning and this was a winning choice because the sky on the volcano was so clear that it was a blinding blue. Afterwards we went to see the valley of the bove and then to Zafferana etnea to do an excellent and abundant tasting of typical products. To finish Aristide accompanied us to the 1993 casting, near the first house in Zafferana which was threatened by lava. This tour is very simple and suitable for everyone, but nevertheless the views and places you visit are truly unique!
