We joined to tour 4 people. And different nations :) me and my friend dont know Italian but our guide Giovanni can speak English and he got every details to us. He is really cozy and friendly person. It was great experience for us. I suggest everyone to think this tour!

Our guide Marilena picked us up at our hotel and took us up to Sileni craters at 2,000 meters and patiently explained the multiple eruptions responsible for the various craters and lava flows visible from our walk around the crater rim. We then continued to a lava cave, the valley of the oxen and the terminal point of the 1991 lava flow, stopping meters from a house at the edge of Zafferani. After a tasting of olive oils, wines and honeys there, we went to the truly amazing Alcantara gorge. WALK IN HIKING BOOTS FOR ETNA BUT HAVE WATER SHOES FOR ALCANTARA!! Thank you Marilena for a magnificent day sharing with us your extensive knowledge of geology, botany and ecology!

We were lucky to be the only 2 participants that day... So we had an almost private tour with Daniela which was just great!!! He explained everything, from Etna, to the caves up to the Alcantara gorges!! Simply fantastic as the tour itself!! To be redone!! Simone & Aris

Tour of Etna and the Alcantara gorges accompanied by the very kind, extremely helpful and highly trained guide Aristide Tomasino. We spent a very pleasant day passing in the morning, after an exhaustive explanation during the journey, to the gorges of the three levels climbing up to the Speranza refuge near the sylvan craters where we were able to enjoy a suggestive and spectacular view. Afterwards, tasting of wines and specialties in the city of Zafferana and, in the afternoon, visit to the Alcantara gorges where we were able to visit the beautiful park and take a bath in the cold water of the river. Beautiful and memorable day, recommended.

First time in Sicily with the family, we chose this excursion package to visit the two destinations. Aristide, a very knowledgeable and sociable guide, accompanied us in this experience. He accurately described all the details of the landscape even with historical anecdotes and with his preparation as a speleologist made us identify as if we were on one of his expeditions. Also excellent tasting of oils, wines and honey typical of the area. Highly recommended.

It was a great experience, discovering the fascinating views around Etna. The guide showed us unique views where nature has transformed over time under the activity of the volcano, telling us the morphology and the stories that accompany it. we spent a beautiful day visiting Etna, the valley of the bove and the wonderful gorges from the Alcantara. Our escort Florinda gave us all her passion (as well as detailed knowledge) of these wonderful places. At times it made even the clouds dissipate.. Seriously, it was a truly unforgettable visit... despite the bad weather.

Edward, the guide, was very helpful. The anti-covid rules were absolutely not followed: on the transfer some tourists did not wear masks and were not told anything but especially during the visit to the cave there were only 5 helmets available for more than 20 people without respecting the necessary hygiene rules. The tasting stage is avoidable because time is limited and you can taste very little. It's just a gimmick to make tourists shop.

It was a wonderful experience!!! Our guide Giovanni, in addition to being nice, was also very prepared. He explained the history of the volcano and its craters in a clear and precise way. The scenery up there is gorgeous!!!! After the wine and honey tasting, in the afternoon we went to the Alcantara Gorges. Also here magnificent place, a little too crowded but then again we are in August. Giovanni explained how the throats formed and left us an hour of freedom. We took the opportunity to take a walk in the icy waters of the river (I recommend rock shoes). Absolutely to do super recommended!!!!!

Spectacular tour with a guide, Aristide, who did not just tell us some notions but made us passionate at any time of our adventure. Tour started earlier than expected to avoid heat and crowds. Perfect choice because we were alone on the craters and in the cave and the excitement was incredible. Very interesting and complete the tasting of wines, grappa, oil and honey. Wonderful part of the visit dedicated to the Alcantara with plenty of time to relax, swim and have lunch. Return to the hotel after lunch and afternoon free to visit the city. Very easy route suitable for the whole family. Absolutely to recommend

Aristide is very prepared, nice, helpful and very friendly. We spent a really exciting day with him from the age of 14 to 82! Recommended really.

A true illumination: a very special, unique itinerary, told with passion and a lot of sympathy! I was able to discover a landscape that I had never seen up close, which tells the story of a magical and constantly evolving territory! Il.percorso is comfortable but charming and wild, carefully chosen by the guide who has shown himself precise and welcoming. What about it? In my humble opinion you can not leave Sicily without having seen etna up close, and understood, thanks to the precise explanations of the guide, many aspects often unknown. I booked online and immediately I sent an email with practical information and contacts. Good organization. The guide Aristide, kind and polite, showed us with professionalism and patience the beauties of his land. Hike started very early, at 7, but it was worth it to be the first to arrive on Etna and be ALONE. The stop for the tasting of typical products did not take up much time and was definitely pleasant and quality. The Alcantara disappointed me a bit because in high season it is stormed by seaside tourists as if it were a swimming pool or a playground. So my advice is to do the day trip to Etna and possibly postpone the alcantara in a low season. My daughter forgot her sweatshirt in the car and they were super helpful to make it recover = Thank you Florinda.

Congratulations to the association but especially to our guide Aristide for the professionalism, competence and use of technical and scientific language, passion and love for his work. A tour started at seven in the morning that allowed us to visit the suggestive landscapes of Etna.... and then admire the beauty of the Alcantara gorges. Followed and accompanied step by step. The tour ended at about 1430.... tired but rich in information and sure not to have left out any details! Thank you Aristide!
