Dinner In A Home Restaurant With Chef Massimo In Taormina

When you visit Taormina there is so much to see and do but you will regret it if you don’t take a cooking class with Massimo. Not only is he a very talented chef, he is a very patient teacher - explaining each step in a way that is easy to understand. The best part was enjoying our meal - a meal made almost entirely by my husband and I with Massimo’s instruction - on a beautiful veranda tucked away in the hills of Taormina. Anyone can buy a t-shirt - skip it. Do the class - make a memory, learn something new.

If you are thinking of doing a cooking your, then do this . Chef Massimo is absolutely brilliant explaining the ingredients and patiently helping us to produce 2 gorgeous starters and 3 main dishes. Afterwards you will eat on Chef's beautiful terrace with added wine. The day could not be faulted. Absolutely brilliant day

We had 4 cooking classes with Chef Massimo with a Road Scholar group. They were fabulous. Lots of information, lots of hands on work to really come to know how to do what the recipes called for and mostly lots and lots of fun. I would recommend the classes with Chef Massimo wholeheartedly for anyone.

Chef Massimo and all the cuisine experiences were fantastic! He gave us a little tour of the market in Taormina next to a cooking class in his kitchen. The house where we cooked, has an incredible sea sight view. And the food was one of the best we tried in the time we spent in Taormina. Pasta, fish, dessert, and the wine! A unique experience!

I cannot tell you how fabulous it was. Chef Massimo came to out villa and prepare dinner for 3 couple. Don't hesitate - he was the best. The food was amazing. We had rented a villa in Cortona. Not only was the food more than we could eat, everyone says that is by far the absolutely best thing we did during the week were there. He has a great personality and his partner Alessandra just add to how wonderful the entire evening was.

We had the most wonderful evening! Chef Massimo is the consummate host! He met us in town and we walked just a bit to his kitchen space. Cocktails on the terrace with the option for dinner outside but we decided it was a bit too cold and opted for inside. All of his courses were an imaginative take on traditional Sicilian dishes paired with local wine. Each was more delicious than the last. Our company for the evening were new friends we had just met and a pair of lovely ladies from New York and New Jersey. Conversation was lively and fun! We had such a wonderful time and we’re so glad Massimo agreed to fit us in. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and can’t wait to come back again. Our compliments to the chef and such a terrific experience to have in Taormina. Highly recommend! Thanks Massimo for a great night!

Our dinner at Chef Massimo's home-style kitchen was not exactly what we expected, but a highlight of our trip to Taormina nonetheless. Our meal was largely prepped by other guests who started with the market visit and cooking class with Chef Massimo, then our group of 3 couples joined for the multi-course "festive meal" which had been finished off by Chef Massimo and his assistants. The food and wine was delicious and abundant. Chef Massimo was a delightful host. This was a most memorable evening in a charming setting. Highly recommend.

Chef Massimo taught us so much about going marketing for the food and preparing the food!! Then we dined on the beautiful dishes we made in his picturesque patio!! It was a fun experience to have with my family and a few other participants that we enjoyed meeting! Chef Massimo is very engaging and shares his knowledge of cooking lovingly.

Our private dinner at Chef Massimo’s home was spectacular, unique and romantic. What a host! He was charming, made us feel totally spoiled and truly pampered by cooking us the most delicious multi-course meal in a private home with truly breathtaking views. He talked to us about the yummy local ingredients and cooking techniques used in each course and let us watch him work his magic in the kitchen but also let us have one on one time to really savour the special occasion. I cannot recommend this experience enough to add that wow factor to your holiday in Taormina. INCREDIBLE!
