Di Giovanna Winery Tour & 3 Wine Tasting

Perfect location with stunning views. Nicola was a very attentive host. The wine was great as were the accompanying nibbles. I would definitely visit again and bring family and friends.

What a wonderful experience. Located in the countryside out side of Sambuca. Beautiful scenery is seen from the tasting room. We had the three wine tasting but our boat let us sample additional wines. I found the Nero D’Avola and the Nerello Mascalese most enjoyable and wound up shipping a few bottles home. I added in a bottle of their olive oil as well. The tour was short and to the point which was most agreeable to my group.

A wonderful time! If you go from anywhere other than sciacca, make sure to take google maps. Very personal and beautiful tour/tasting.

What a lovely experience! The tour and tasting were very well done and the wine is exceptional. Met the owner, winemaker and director of hospitality. The food was as wonderful as the wine! Certainly worth the drive through the Sicilian countryside!

A fun experience and great introduction to the wine production at the Di Giovanna winery. Niccola was a very knowledgeable and kind guide. He answered any questions and provided great information about the winery. The tour started off with a short walk through part of the vineyard and then into the production building where the actual wine is made and bottled. We tried 3 wines: white, rosato, and red. We were also provided with a complimentary tasting of one of their all natural wines. There were yummy antipasti that paired great with the wines, including cheeses, salami, jam, bread, and Di Giovanna made olive oil. The location of the winery is about 15 minutes from Sambuca, down a secluded road. Overall, if you appreciate wine or have a general interest, this tour is for you!

We had an amazing time. Our visit started with a tour of the vineyards followed by the winemaking process/cellar. Then came the best part…the wine tasting. These are some of the best Sicilian wines. Avoid the big producers and come here. It is a medium size producer with a rich family history. Our guide Dea was knowledgeable and great. It was a pleasure meeting Nicola! We will be back.

A bit out of the town high up on the hill but well worth the trip ! The views are indescribable as you feel like you’re at the top of the world. Only to be out done by the winery and hospitality. The wines and food are some of the best ! The facility is new and spotless.

A must do wine tasting and tour if you are in or near Sambuca. Fabulous tapas served and extraordinary views. Ask for Nicola.

The place is a bit hidden but it really worths visiting it. We visited the vineyard in the afternoon and were alone there... We had great time. The guy who conducted the tasting was really good. He knew every detail about the grapes, wine, company... We were supposed to taste 3 wines and we had 5 and repeated and the appetizers were plenty and super tasty... And the ship the products to any place in europe. We bought wine, oil and salt with herbs. We were to another vineyard near catania and was crowded and not that nice experience. This was perfect. Very recommemdable.

Our wine tasting visit was a highlight of our holiday in Sicily and we are really happy we stopped. We were served three wines to taste along with an assortment of cheeses and appetizers that gave us a wonderful taste of Sicily. The tasting was fantastic but we wished we could have learned more about the wine making process. That part was a bit rushed and hard to follow, hence the 4/5 stars. But I still highly recommend this. We were traveling from Agrigento to Trapani and this was a perfect stealing the way and the mountain drive part of the adventure. The “tour” was actually only a short 10 minute walk to see the fermentation tanks and our guide spoke so quickly about the winery that he was hard to keep up with. Then we walked to the tasting room which is absolutely gorgeous with amazing views of the mountains around you. Our host was terrific and answered our questions and served us quite generously. When we told him which wines we liked and didn’t like he offered a fourth suggestion and it was perfect for us so we had a case shipped home.

The visit to Di Giovanna was a truly interesting and wonderful experience. The tour itself about the expanse of the vineyard and its history presented a very enjoyable story. More importantly, the wine tasting was extraordinary. These are beautiful Sicilian vintages in both red and white. Our group of 14 enjoyed a wonderful experience which included a tasting and dinner prepared by the kitchen in an extraordinary tasting room. This was A truly enjoyable visit at an impressive vineyard.

A lovely experience for any wine enthusiast out there. This was definitely the highlight of our vacation. We learned about the history of the winery while tasting three different wines. Since we've come back from our vacation, I already purchased more of their wines & olive oils (from their online store), to bring back memories of our stay in Sicily. In short, a great experience that I recommend to all of my friends.

This place is a hoax. They didn't show interest at all. They don't explain or showcase anything. They simply serve three glasses of wine and a cheese plate as if you were at a bar, completely ignoring you. Not recommended at all. Una tomadura de pelo, un auténtico engaño, no mostraron interés alguno, no te enseñan ni te explican nada, solo te sirven 3 copas de vino y un plato de queso, como si estuvieras en un bar y te ignoran por completo. Nada recomendable

Wow! The reward after driving up a very bumpy rural road - was 1000% worthwhile! (Use the Google co-ordinates not the address on website!!). You will be charmed by ….. A wonderful love story (New York wine specialist meets young Sicilian Wine farmer supplier) + a wonderful tour of vineyard + very generous food nibbles (fresh bread, local cheese) that compliments the 4 wines we tasted! Yum. Delicious. Stunning views. We leave with a wine and olive oil order winging its way to the uk …. !!!

I organized a wine tasting with friends at Di Giovanna in Sambuca di Sicilia. The reservation was confirmed smoothly and the incredible English-speaking staff were helpful, fun and knowledgeable. The vineyards are located in the nearby nature reserve and getting there from Palermo was simple and a beautiful drive. Would highly recommend. Incredible organic wines and the best olive oil I've tried in Sicily.

One of the first organic winery in Sicily. High class wine and it tastes even better in this beautiful surrounding. Very warm and friendly staff, that answered all of our questions. We had a great time!

We had a great experience here. Dea and Alyssandra gave excellent explanation and had answers to all of our questions. We just showed up without a booking, which didn’t matter as a tour + wine tasting (including bread and cheese) could be prepared for us. The wines are also very good so we ordered a couple of boxes to be shipped home.

What an amazing experience! Di Giovanna is a must visit in western Sicily. The place is lovely! Vineyards, wine cellar and of course the wines .. oh the wines are spectacular !! Taste the Grillo and the Vurría Rosato! :) The landscapes are so beautiful! Ah, the olive oil is delicious! A true Sicilian immersive experience through wine in a beautiful family winery!

It is a beautiful winery with an amazing scenary, wines and olive oil. It was a very warm welcome, very interesting conversation about local wines and lifestyle. It is a great place for people who are looking for a very authentic experience.

I give 5 stars because I can't do more. SUPREME experience! Everything at the top, right from the time of booking. I accidentally saw the cellar on Instagram, I didn't know it. I found out online, very clear and well-kept site; they are extremely available and very quick in responding. We arrive on site at the day and time set, to welcome the very kind owner. We do the complete tour of the vineyard and the cellar, all neat and clean to perfection, top machinery .. a perfect mix between tradition and innovation. We move to the tasting room, also this elegant and attention to detail. Crazy panorama, we start tasting the three wines requested (we had opted for natural, request welcomed) and the food paired. Great cutting board, products of the highest quality, everything perfect Mr Klaus's explanations were exhaustive, a pleasant chat in which he showed us all his professionalism but also his great passion. I recommend the visit to everyone, a more than reasonable amount for an experience that you will not forget at all! Thanks for everything, we will return and recommend to everyone, even the delicious wines!

Incredibly nice experience! We were well received upon arrival and could choose whether we would start with tasting or touring first. We chose the tasting first and got 3 great wines (white, rosé and red). The wines were served with finger food and a delicious dish with custom cheeses and ham. We got an introduction around the family and the farm, as well as the history around the different wines. After the tasting we did a tour around the vineyards and inside where the wine was produced. Here we went through the different processes to the finished product. A very nice visit. We bought 8 bottles, but did not have the opportunity to take them all with us, then they were helpful in sending them with UPS to Norway. They arrived safely, so we look forward to enjoying more wine from De Giovanna😊 Definitely recommend one visit and we will be sure to come back again!
