This the best coming class ever! Carlos arranged for a taxi for me which was very thoughtful. Nick my driver did the best job! Thank you Nick. The setting for the class could not have been more perfect. A beautiful view from the terrace of the ocean and Carlos lovely farm where we picked some items for our lunch. I learned so much from the class making pasta and cannoli . I am excited to go home and get busy in my kitchen. There were appetizers prosecco and a white wine that paired with the food offerings. The food was fun to make, Carlos a great teacher professional/funny/kind/thoughtful. You leave with recipes and a shopping list. Thank you beyond words Carlos!! Carlo was an amazing host. We had a great time making pasta and cannoli. The location of his home is amazing. The outside terrace is beautiful and overlooks the water. We couldn’t have possibly eaten all the food Carlo prepared for us as well as the food we made. It was a fun night and I would do it again.

A MUST do! Not only was the class fun, seeing Carlo’s garden was worth the trip! Carlos’ wife graciously offered to set us up round trip with an uber to save money on a taxi. We learned to make delicious pasta and cannolis. Bring a germaphob, I was so pleased to hear Carlos ask all to wash their hands😊. I have taken other cooking classes and this was the best. I promise you will love the experience.

Carlo and his family warmly welcomed us into their beautiful home, which was a heartwarming experience for all of us. The class included pasta and cannoli recipes that were delicious and easy to follow. Carlos’ mother, mother-in-law and aunt were all there to assist us, and were just adorable. We felt like part of the family. The recipes were provided to us. As an appetizer, they made the most delicious bruschetta. It was divine. Carlo has an extensive garden from which we picked the tomatoes, herbs and other vine fresh vegetables that were used for the dinner. Everything was delicious. We enjoyed meeting people from all parts of the world, as well. Overall, I can’t recommend this cooking experience more.

This pasta and cannoli masterclass with Chef Carlo was absolutely phenomenal! From the very beginning, including the thoughtful offer of a transfer to his stunning villa, everything was organized at the highest possible level. Carlo, his wife, his assistants, and his whole family are incredibly generous, welcoming, and hospitable. The class itself was so well-thought-out. Carlo didn't just show us what to do; he actually taught us all the little secrets and details so we can easily recreate these dishes at home. The food was exceptionally delicious! He even surprised us with lovely gifts and sent all the recipes afterward. One of my brightest memories is going into his beautiful garden to harvest fresh vegetables—we picked a zucchini that was almost a meter long! It was hilarious and so much fun, something I will remember for a very long time. We ended the evening with a spectacular dinner, enjoying a breathtaking sunset with views of the sea, the beach, and Palermo in the distance. I was also very lucky to share this with a wonderful group of people. I am so happy I found this specific masterclass. I already want to return and bring my friends to experience this magic. This was our first cooking class and it was everything we hoped for and more. Carlo is a first rate chef and the pasta, pesto and canoli were exceptional. The canoli was the best we've ever had. Carlo and his assistants, Maria and Francesca were very helpful in taking us through each step of the process. The view was spectacular, and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the farm to see the variety of fruits and vegetables grown there and used in his dishes. It was a beautiful experience for my family and I. The views were amazing, the experience was unforgettable and I would recommend this to anyone! My nephew's of the age 2 and 4 absolutely loved it and they loved picking their fresh products from the beautiful garden.

Our cooking class with Carlo was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. We visited with eight friends from the Netherlands and from the very first second, Carlo and his lovely mother and aunt made us feel incredibly welcome. We started by picking fresh ingredients from the (incredible) garden before cooking together at Carlo’s home. Everything felt so personal and authentic. Carlo shared beautiful stories about his family and traditions, we ate from plates that have been in his family for over 55 years, and tasted incredible products, including his own homemade olive oil. The food was amazing, but Carlo’s energy, kindness and enthusiasm made the day truly unforgettable. The atmosphere was full of laughter from beginning to end. Such a special experience and a perfect surprise for our group. Would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you, Carlo!

This was a wonderfully intimate experience. Chef Carlo is not only an extremely experienced chef, he is very personable and an excellent teacher. The setting is beautiful, picking produce directly from the large garden that has been in his family for decades, with the sea and mountains as the backdrop. Carlo is absolutely amazing!! My wife and I had the best class with him to celebrate our honeymoon. We started by picking a bunch of fresh tomatoes, basil, and more delicious treats from his garden, where he explained his culinary and family history and detailed the process of growing and selling vegetables. He proceeded to teach us how to make a classic Sicilian pasta dish, helping us through each step, as well as the best cannolis we’ve ever eaten. His home as marvelous, he served us prosecco, wine, and his own homemade citrus drink with dessert. Carlo is a well-experienced and incredible chef who has a true passion for food and hospitality. We would recommend this class to anyone traveling to the Palermo area!!!

So great! Carlo was incredibly attentive and kind. Everything was intentionally planned, well organized, and thoughtfully done. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. Carlo connected with us in such a warm way while also giving us privacy to enjoy the experience. They even helped arrange our taxi, which made everything so easy!

Carlo and his team were amazing! We started with a tour of his garden where he grows many of the items he uses so he really is farm to table. We had some incredible appetizers, bruschetta, sun-dried tomatoes and roasted red peppers and mini sandwiches that were so tasty, I never would have thought to put a lemon slice on a sandwich but wow did it change the taste of the sandwich. We then made cannolis and pasta and ate them for dinner. We met another awesome group of people and just had the best night. Carlo is chef that has worked around the world and is extremely talented. This was the highlight of my trip so far. Highly recommend!

Carlo was so welcoming and friendly! He made us feel like family immediately upon arrival. His class was easy for beginners, and we loved the recipes! He accommodated one member in our group who was a vegetarian and ensured the recipe was ok for her to eat. His family garden is stunning and learning about his culture and food was the highlight of our trip to Palermo. He is a MUST for your vacation and we just wish we lived closer so we could come back sooner.

My girlfriend and I spent a couple nights in Palermo and she surprised me with a cooking class with Carlo on one of our days there. This had to be one of our favorite days on the whole trip. Carlo is absolutely amazing! From start to finish the experience is unmatched and would recommend Carlo and only Carlo if you find yourself in Palermo! This is a must do experience. Carlo is so a gem and so friendly. He welcomes you into his home and doesn't treat you as a guest but more like family. You go through his gorgeous garden and hand pick all the vegetables and fruits that you will later cook with. He shares his story and and his wealth of knowledge in the cooking and gardening world. We made fresh pasta and cannoli on our visit. He was so helpful and makes the whole experience fun and does all that he can so that everyone is involved having an amazing time. The food was as expected unbelievable. For such a simple meal it had to be one of our favorites just because of how fresh everything was. Carlo truly is a 1 of 1 person and if you have the pleasure to take his class and meet him you will understand! I can't rave enough about our experience and how much we thoroughly enjoyed just hanging out with Carlo. We enjoyed our fresh salad with Carlo's home made olive oil which words can't describe how good that was. Same goes for the pasta and cannoli. Which was accompanied with delightful wine. Towards the end of our time Carlo encouraged us all not to rush and to stay and enjoy our time there which is incredible because this is his home. The whole tiem it felt like we were just at a friends house for lunch. Following our experience he sent us the recipes for everything we made. Carlo told us if ever we had any questions or if we needed him when we get home when trying out our new skills for ourselves he would be more than happy to help. This will be a memory I will hold on to forever and hopefully we find ourselves back in Sicily again so we can visit our friend Carlo to take another class with him! Thank you for everything Carlo! We hope to see you again. In the meantime we will do all we can to try and recreate this experience in our own home!

I would give Carlo ten stars if I could. What a wonderful experience. He is nor only a great chef but an excellent teacher and host. We enjoyed sharing the experience with a lovely couple from Melbourne, too. A must do experience if you are in Palermo.

This cooking experience with Carlos and my sisters was exceptional! Carlos was a great teacher about the nuances of Italian cooking… the sauces, herbs, pastas. Oh my goodness! What an incredible day Cooking with Carlo. First he and his wife arranged transportation to their gorgeous home. We were met by Carlo. He took us out to the deck with running views and a perfect set up for our class. After introductions we went into their lovely garden and he showed us all of the different things they grow and told us a bit about each product. Then we got into the food. Between what he pre-made and what we did together, it was amazing. He was kind and helpful and fun. I couldn't recommend this activity any higher!

My husband and I enjoyed our cooking class with Carlo. In fact it was the highlight of our trip to Sicily! Carlo and his wife have a lovely villa off in the hills around 12km from Palermo. Before we began Carlo took us for a walk thru his mature garden filled with fruit trees, olive trees, vegetables and herbs. His class was out on his patio in the lovely sunshine. We learned to make homemade cannoli and fresh pasta. Carlo is an engaging chef/"teacher" who made the class look easy. I think my husband will be making fresh pasta for us every weekend from now on. OK, maybe that isn't true, but Carlo made making homemade pasta so easy that I'm going to buy a pasta machine and definitely give it a try at home. He served our homemade pasta, with a wonderful sauce made from the tomatoes grown in their garden. Delicious! And the cannolis were the best we've ever eaten. We definitely recommend adding this class to your "to do" list when visiting Palermo. Even husbands who don't cook will enjoy this fun class. 😍🥂

One of the best experiences of our entire trip. We booked this as a family of four, two adults and two girls (ages 7 and 11), and it exceeded every expectation. It was completely private, which made it feel incredibly personal and special. Carlo welcomed us into his home on the mountainside overlooking the beautiful city of Palermo and the Tyrrhenian Sea. At the Villa you are greeted with Prosecco & an appetizer for a chance to relax and enjoy the view! Carlo is very knowledgeable and patient with a passion for cooking. It was delightful experience and a wonderful way to have lunch!

One bite of a sun-dried tomato (hands down the best of my life) and I knew this was going to be special. We rolled up our sleeves and made cannolis completely from scratch, then moved on to fresh homemade pasta paired with the most incredible tomato sauce I’ve ever tasted. Incredible day at Carlo's villa, picked us up and dropped us off at the bus stop. Everyone at the house were welcoming and friendly. Relaxed atmosphere and learnt alot, our favourite thing we did on our holiday and can't wait to try make our own cannoli!

My husband and our friends booked cooking with Carlo for our trip to Palermo and it was 1000% one of the highlights of our vacation! I can’t even describe how beautiful the view and the sunset was while we were cooking outside on his back patio. It felt like we were in a movie! They even played music to perfectly set the scene! Carlo, his mother, and mother in law were so warm and helpful. They fed us the most delicious food and kept our wine glasses full while we worked. The cannolis we made were the best I’ve ever had and I cannot wait to recreate the recipe this year for Christmas with my family! What a perfect day and an amazing experience. My husband & and I, along with our 2 friends were coming to an end of our 2 week vacation through Italy and Sicily, diid we really need another cooking class???? But I couldn't resist some of the other reviews written by Carlo's guests...and had to experience for myself. Read other reviews for details about what and how we cooked, but I'd like to tell you it was more like spending time with friends sharing stories while making your own pasta, and the best Cannoli's this Italian has ever had. So to answer my own question... Yes, we did need one more cooking class - Carlo's !

Cooking with Carlo was an AWESOME experience - so warm and friendly, like being invited to a dear friend's home in Sicily. The views from the terrace are spectacular.
