Great tour! Interesting and we did a variety of things, which made it fun. It was just a few of us on the tour, which was nice! And it felt like we were the only ones on the mountain for the first part. Great views!

We were there for the Etna major eruption June 2. It was amazing! Our guide Rui did a wonderful job and was very informative and helpful. We got to go to a fairly high elevation via a large jeep. There was already a routine eruption happening that morning, but in the middle of our excursion, Etna decided to surprise us with a much larger eruption. Our guide was helpful in getting us to safety and we also managed to take the tour of the Etna tastings, but had to skip the lava tubes for safety reasons which was understandable. Overall, a thrilling and once in a lifetime experience!
I do not recommend. We ordered two pairs of trekking shoes that were on offer - we did not receive them, which resulted in the destruction of our own. There is also no reception from the hotel - when we called to determine the details, no one answered. The guide said the office is closed. Tasting is trying free samples in the shop...
Very well organised trip with a lot of information from the guide Andrea!l …not only about Etna but also about the City of Catania and Sicily. He is a very nice and kind guide with good english.The course of the trip was flexible taking into account the weather conditions. Highly recommend!
If you go to Sicily, especially Catania, you have to go and see Etna, it is a monumental volcano and a feat of nature! Me and my partner wanted to go and do the Etna tour and also vineyard tour but unfortunately the days we went on just didn't suit (plus lockdowns etc). Andrea was our guide and he was excellent, he was a wealth of knowledge and we were very impressed, his English was also incredibly good! Even perfecting some cockney rhyming and other slangs. Tour done entirely in Italian for the other guests (all 7 of us in Andreas Jeep wearing face masks) then English just for us, picked up from our hotel (called Habitat and again would def recommend as they sorted this out for us before we'd even arrived in Italy). We stopped off at multiple places and god some really good views, pictures and information all the way up. At the food tasting we had some local wines, honey, olives, and olive oils - which we purchased some small 100mL vials so we could take home with us to the UK. By the way buy the Porcini or Chilli Infused olive oil it is amazing, better than anything you'll get on the supermarket shelves here in England. We didn't go all the way to the top, but one of our last stops as we went back down we saw smoke and explosions coming out of Etna, so that's likely why we didn't go further up. But the main viewing point we did go to was good enough. Overall this is well worth the money you pay and THE attraction for Catania, you must go and see Etna, have a tour guide like Andrea as you will learn so so much more! Best part of the 4 day trip to Catania and Syracuse for me.
This was a very thorough and enjoyable tour of Mt. Etna. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. We got to see Mt. Etna from several different angles and ecosystems. The tour of the lava cave was very unique. Lunch was fabulous - a plate of appetizers that was very generous and a main pasta dish - delicious. We had ample time to explore the crater before heading back to Catania.
Stunning nature and a lot of information from the great tour guide Andrea. He loves his job and is a very passionate Etna expert. Absolutely recommended!

The tour was very good to make a first approach to Etna. The guide, Gaetano, a great professional. It was great fun and offered us a different and unforgettable experience. To repeat, with explosions and lava.
Very good excursion and excellent guide. We went in a six-person vehicle and took turns because the back seats were very uncomfortable and in bad shape. We hired the tour with lunch and ate very well. Highly recommended. I would only ask the company to use a more comfortable vehicle or, at the very least, to repair the last seats.

My boyfriend and I participated in this magnificent adventure, full of emotions, history, nature and adrenaline. The experience is wonderful but the Team that we had been assigned even more. A group of very prepared guys, ready to answer any curiosity and question. They are INCREDIBLE, able to transmit to you so much of this wonderful land. The experience lasted about 6 hours, they accompany you to discover wonderful places, with a wine tasting, Oils, olives and honey to make your taste buds explode. The day is divided into several stages but the most beautiful is when you reach 2000 meters, from there you can enjoy a show and a breathtaking view. So we literally fell in love with it. I want to sincerely THANK the team, Composed by Alessio, Fabio , Raji!!!! You guys were great, you made us feel at home❤️. It is difficult to find Guides like you!!!!! The excursion is a very nice surprise! The Oracio guide is very kind, it helps to maintain a good atmosphere in the group. In addition, he speaks very good French and was able to explain the history of the volcano. For those who want to do Etna without having to walk too long it is an ideal alternative.
