Fabrizio was terrific. Skilled driving the boat, friendly and informative. This excursion was great value for money and seeing Ortigia and Syracuse from the water was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Fabrizio was awesome! Two swimming stops and great views. Two hours is the perfect amount of time in our opinion. We would do this again.
Booked direct and last minute—they made the booking easy and efficient, very kindly held the boat for us and accompanied us to it. We had three stops for swimming in the beautifully clear, warm sea. Sea caves were a beautiful and interesting contrast to the caves we had seen earlier in the archeological park. Our lovely skipper/guide Carmelo was very pleasant and professional, made certain we had enough time to see the sights and swim, whilst maintaining the schedule - and even fulfilled our request for one quick last swim! A perfect experience on what must be the hottest day of the year 42C!!
Great experience, good music, two swimming stops. Exceptional Mr. capital!
Great to see Ortigia and the surrounding area from the water :)
This was a great boat trip! Just long enough to be on the water, learned some history and we had two swim stops! Just jumped off the boat into the beautiful water. Early June was perfect weather. I recommend bringing goggles to see underwater as the water is crystal clear.
Great 2 hours trip. Highly recommended. Went into the caves and stopped for jumps and swimming in the sea. We were with Captain Corrado, he’s a great guide.
Corrado took us for a great tour! We had two hours of interesting information about Syracuse and Ortigia’s history. Corrado was not only informative but happy to answer questions. His English was great too! A must do if you are traveling to Syracuse!
It was great. We got to see the wonderful, magnificent caves in the area, the captain was great, knowledgeable, and clearly capable. We enjoyed ourselves very much. Fortunately the weather, which can be challenging at this time of year was cooperative.
Very friendly and a great tour :)
The boat trip was fine and the guide was excellent, but buyer BEWARE. I bought a sunset tour and was repeatedly contacted to take an earlier trip in the morning because of the possibility “bad weather.” Which was odd, because the forecast was clear. I agreed to be nice, but it was extremely annoying to see that they were still offering a sunset tour later that day — the one they said they’d cancel because of bad weather (the weather was gorgeous, by the way). If you make a reservation and they ask you to change, just say “no.” (Unless the weather is really bad, of course.)
The weather was good and it was a great way to see some of the coastline of Sicily. My family loved it!
Wonderful experience! Nunzio was our guide. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining as well. The caves are a must see. Highly recommended.
Matseis was an excellent guide. And the skipper was quite skilled. We had fun and their knowledge of the area was entertaining. Good luck to Mateo’s and his new love.
We booked the 2-hour tour, and it was an amazing experience, definitely a must-do! Our guide, Lucia, was wonderful and fun, supportive, and very kind. During a swimming stop, she encouraged my girlfriend (who did not swim before) to give it a try and cheered her on the whole time. She even took photos of us without us asking(because we forgot🙃), which was such a thoughtful surprise. We really appreciated her effort and initiative. Thank you, Lucia, for making our day so great! 😇
Fabulous trip. Ninni, our host was knowledgeable, passionate and funny. The sky turned dark and threatening as we headed out and the views and pictures of Ortigia were exceptional. The sun returned by the time we reached the caves. Lovely trip. Highly recommended
This was such a fun outing. Definitely bring a swim suit so u can take a dip in the Mediterranean sea but make sure you have a towel with you as well. Our tour guide Matteo was informative and fun. Its good to b with people who enjoy what they do. The sea caves were unique-our boat captain navigated these small areas expertly.
Great experience we got to see the caves learn somethings about some of the best spots in Syracuse and Ortigia and with the tour we got to swim twice in 2 beautiful locations. Shout out to Nunzio our young skipper which did an excellent job and was the heart of the experience. Also ask him for restaurant recommendations he can help. Definitely recommend.
My family and I were searching for hours to decide which was the best boat tour. We were delightfully surprised with this tour and we highly recommend it for people who enjoy or want to learn the history/culture of the city. We took the 2hr boat tour and it was absolutely worth it. The beautiful scenery, swim stops and caves were perfect.
This was a great way to see ortigia from the water! Relaxing boat ride to take it all in we did late afternoon before dinner was perfect great captain!
Nunseo, our driver, gave us an enjoyable boat ride! He took us through the openings of caves, etc., and told us a few stories. He was going to stop for a swim but we opted not to. We had a great time.
Lovely boat tour at sunset around Ortigia. It was really cool to see the caves. Luckily the seas were very calm, they were rougher on the other days we were there. We did not go swimming because it wasn't quite warm enough for swimming weather. Fun experience, definitely recommend!
Beautiful sights. The guide was fantastic, he turned on music and we felt like we had our own little party! My favorite part of our visit! The family that runs it was very considerate, we had a 5pm booking, they text then called and asked if we’d be able to come early because rain was in the forecast. They made the trip happen.
Our hotel recommended this company for the a sea tour around the islands and cliffs and we had a great time. Lucia, our guide on board, was very knowledgeable and also had a good sense of humour. She conducted the tour in English after politely checking that everyone on board was OK with this. It's a fantastic way to get another view of the beautiful town and surrounding landscape from the sea, plus learn more about its fascinating history. The only thing we hadn't realised was that the boat stops for a short time for those who want to to take a dip in the clear warm waters, so we hadn't brought our swim things! Having said that, as we planned to have lunch afterwards, I was quite glad I wasn't soaking wet as there's nowhere to change back into regular clothes. It's important to leave a couple of days for the boat tour as if the wind or weather is bad they have to cancel and reschedule your trip for the next day - which happened to us. In general the mornings seemed calmer at the time of year we visited, but it's worth phoning them to check they can sale before making the trip down to the harbour.
This boat trip was exactly as expected. I wish I remembered the guide’s name. She was very pleasant and accommodating to English speaking and Italian speaking during the tour. We had the opportunity to stop at two different spots to swim and she gave great explanation of the places we stopped or passed for viewing.
Tour guide and skipper were friendly and engaging. Music was played and a small dance party happened on board.
Ninni was the super friendly, knowledgable and passionate! Caught the sunset and had a swim! 10/10!!
We recommend this company without hesitation! The father and son team were very accomodating to make sure our family (two adults and two teenagers) had a wonderful trip around Ortegia....even when one of our adults is sensitive to sea sickness! :)
It was a really nice and fun boat tour. You get to enjoy the beautiful caves and waters. Water is very clear, perfect for swimming and snorkeling
Lovely two hour boat ride. 6 pm tour in August caught the sunset. Also had the chance to swim twice which was lovely. The water was so warm.
Advised by our host, we decided to visit Syracuse and Ortigia also from the sea, and expectations were not disappointed. From boat caves to diving where the water is crystal clear this experience was really fulfilling. Very good driver Otto who was able to tell even in English the wonders of this place. Recommended especially at sunset. Super experience.
Lovely trip around the island. Captain David was very friendly, knowledgeable and we had 2 swim stops. The second swim stop in beautiful turquoise water, caves were interesting. Learnt a bit of the history of the island. Would recommend this trip.
It was a beautiful trip with friends. Our guide was wonderful. A perfect way to see Ortigia and the Sea Caves. Would definitely recommend this tour!
Excellent trip, a good captain at the helm and informative. Would recommend the trip. Felt confident and safe on the trip.
the day we went the sea was a bit rough with 1-2 metre swells so we couldn’t get close to the sea caves as it was too dangerous. We explored both sides of the harbour and stopped for a swim near the fortress which was lovely. The views from the boat were great and ducking our heads as the boat went under the low bridge was a great experience.
The tour was perfect. The tour guide was passionate about his town and he really knew his history. He had a great sense of humor and left us loving the tour and the town. Closed out with tips to find the best of everything in Ortigia
Awesome tour showcasing Syracusa and Ortegia from the sea! Our guide was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating!
Great experience traversing the waves and exploring the caves. There were only 3 of us on the boat which was fabulous and our guide Lucia (hope I got that right) spoke fabulous English and took the time to explain and answer questions. Captain Carmello was brilliant knew the sea and his boat inside and out. Happy to recommend this tour.
One of the best experiences in my life! Amazing tour, amazing guide, places & vibe. Would do it again!
Our guide was fantastic! The tour was so enjoyable with only 7 people. A small boat which allowed us to go under low bridges and go in cave areas! Highly recommend Syracuse excursions!
Ninni gave us an enjoyable 2 hour boat tour with 2 swim stops. The boat holds approx 8 people . Bring towel, water and a snack if you like.( we stopped at the food market for some fresh baggets , fruit and cheese) There are a few boat drivers but Ninni is passionate, philosophical , numerous with very good explanation of the history behind Ortigia and Syracusa plus we got to see the sea caves etc . The boat has a canopy .Two hours went by quickly. Enjoy !
This was an excellent trip. There are so many boat trips to choose from in Ortigia but I was very impressed with this one. It was two hours long. The driver was very friendly and very good with the two elderly parents we had with us. He took us to two lovely swimming spots, showed us the sea caves and then took us to see the fort. Although they take a maximum of 15-20 people there were only 7 of us so we had a very personal experience. Highly recommend.
Really good trip!! A guide that speaks basically perfect english and has alot of knowledge about everything we pass with the boat. This was absolutely the best thing for us! The group was not too big (not crowded) we stopped 2-3 times so we had the opertunity to swim, they also were very attentive, making sure we all were okay and safe Absolutely reccomended
Great Trip, great scenery. Only reason we didn’t give 5 stars is very important. If you have young children, I wouldn’t allow them to swim during the stops to snorkel/swim. The reason I say this is the guide that drove the boat on our trip dropped us to swim and then pulled away +/- 20 meters with the boat. We didn’t expect this nor does he tell you in advance that he’s pulling away. When I asked why he pulls away he suggested the current. Ok, so it’s not safe for your boat in the current so you drive away 20 meters and expect us to swim to the boat against the current. He does not come to pick you up. In fact, there were 2 swim stops and at the first stop, after a swim and getting ready to board, he told us to not board because he had to circle again due to the current. I had to shout and tell him my 11 year daughter was getting on the boat at that moment because she was getting fatigued. I was wearing swim fins and was ok, my wife had trouble swimming to the boat again against the current and the guide didn’t seem to care. The guide was very stubborn and we didn’t like that. fyi, we are experienced boaters, belong to a boat club in Florida, and understand currents. Typically I would say either anchor or don’t drop people to swim. Not the right day.
Great experience. Very friendly and knowledgeable guides who made us all feel very welcome and relaxed.
Very enjoyable two hour trip around Ortigia and the coast. The skipper was friendly and knowledgeable and the small boat had a canopy for those who wanted shade. We were out in the heat of the day so we're grateful for that. There were a couple of short swim stops for those who fancied it. Especially enjoyed the sea caves. Take a bottle of water with you if it is a hot day.
Very informative and a pleasant experience. Crew were nice and accommodating. A great way to see the island from the sea.
We were not able to take the tour as my wife got sick, so we had to cancel the trip with less than 24 hours notice ( if fact the same day). The tour operator refunded us half of our payment, which they were not obligated to do I thought that was very generous, and these people should be commended.
We took a lovely ride around Ortigia and Siracusa with Nini and Carmelo. Alot of info, besutiful views and humor.
Great skipper. Fun and knowledgeable tour guide. We had some rough water but always felt safe. I would highly recommend this company.
