We had a wonderful day with our guide Carmelo. We absolutely loved our time in all three towns, where we had the perfect amount of time to explore. In each town, Carmelo pointed us in the right direction of the main attractions and made other suggestions for things to see or do. We loved our day!

Our tour to Noto, Modica, and Ragusa from Catania was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily, and that was largely thanks to our incredible guide, Peter. From the moment we were picked up, Peter made the day enjoyable, informative, and completely stress-free. His passion for Sicilian history, culture, and architecture brought each destination to life in a way that guidebooks simply cannot. He shared fascinating stories and local insights that gave us a much deeper appreciation for these beautiful Baroque cities. Noto was breathtaking, with its stunning golden-hued architecture and elegant streets. Peter expertly explained the city's history and pointed out details we would have otherwise missed. In Modica, we not only admired the spectacular scenery and architecture but also learned about its famous chocolate-making tradition. Ragusa was equally enchanting, with its dramatic setting and charming historic center offering some of the most memorable views of the day. What truly set this tour apart was Peter himself. He was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and genuinely enthusiastic about sharing his love for Sicily. He struck the perfect balance between guided commentary and allowing us time to explore on our own. His recommendations for local food, photo spots, and hidden gems were excellent and greatly enhanced our experience. If you're considering the Baroque Tour from Catania, do not hesitate. I joined a Baroque tour covering Ragusa, Modica, and Noto from Catania in one day. This itinerary would have been impossible by public transportation, and driving myself would have been challenging due to narrow, steep streets in each city. The tour was definitely worthwhile. Peter, our guide, was considerate and made us feel at ease, sharing many interesting stories about Sicily. Meeting such a great guide made the trip even more enjoyable

Great tour! This is an ideal tour for visitors with time constraints. The excellent tour combines Regusa, Medica and Noto. The guide is an expert in baroque architecture and points out things of special interest. Medica is famous for it's chocolate, you can also try some these.

Fine tour if you want a good driver to all the cities. Nice person but not much of a tour guide in each of the towns. The Lunch place he took us to was cheap but very mediocre and the chocolate tasting was just a chocolate store, not a factory as mentioned in the description. He didn’t even mention the chocolate museum just down the block. Overall, pricey for what we got out of it which was a chauffeured vehicle through the region.

Our guide, Gianmarco was super. He was friendly, knowledgeable and interesting. He answered all our questions from the history of sites to local customs and facts about the surrounding towns.

Such a positive and informative guide (Gianmarco), full of enthusiasm for his beautiful country. It was really good to get a bit off the tourist trail and be able to chat to the guide about living in Sicily. The three villages are a must. Beautifully coloured sandstone, ornate churches, quaint streets and so much more. Modica included a chocolate tasting with no pressure to buy. Then we stopped in Modica again for a short lunch in a small cafe on the Main Street. Gianmarco introduced us to some authentic Sicilian food - a bit like a folded pizza but made with a bread recipe and only a couple of Euros each. Noto was the last stop and probably the highlight. Larger than the other two towns it is very elegant. Gianmarco gave us some free time here too which was great.

Marco is a very likable person, courteous, attentive, and punctual, but not as knowledgeable as many guides we’ve had. He was a good driver & dropped us in convenient spots for walking & climbing stairs. However, the van was in a state of disrepair and dirty - especially the windows. The 3 cities Ragusa, Modica & Noto are definitely worth seeing. The roads are very windy w spectacular views of the landscapes.

Great excursion! You get to see three great locations in one trip. You don’t bother with traffic or parking, and you have a very knowledge guide who provides explanations and answers to all your questions. Definitly a must when visiting east Sicily.

Tour guide communicated promptly and was on time. He was attentive to answering our questions and giving adequate information in each spot but also allowing us to have our photo time and free time.

We spent a beautiful day touring Noto , Modica and Ragusa. Lovely weather, great food and Rustiano was a great tour guide. Loved these towns and the people were so friendly in Sicily !

Absolutely recommendable experience for travellers on a tight travel schedule who are dependant on public transportation and don't want to miss out on neither Noto,nor Modica or Ragusa!! Allesio picked us up right on time at the hotel and fluent in English, elaborated patiently on every single cultural and historical question throughout the day. Professional,educational,safe,reliable,informative and utterly pleasant! In brief,highly recommendable!

This was a great day tour. Rustian, our driver would give us the highlights of each town and then we had time to explore on our own. This was a perfect way to see these towns. Being in a small group, Rustian was able to answer our questions and suit the tour for us.

Noto is really worth to visit, as many baroco buildings n catherdrals over there. Time may be a bit rush in Noto, can make it staying longer, as Modica, Ragusa not too many items to see.

My wife and I spent a day with Sandra our guide and driver for the tour of east Siciliy’s three hilltop baroque jewels - Ragusa, Monica and Noto. Sandra was a safe driver and informative guide, and she never made us feel rushed. We enjoyed the day very much.

Alessio is THE BEST. He’s knowledgeable and interesting and organized. His vehicle is spotless. I wish we’d hired him to take us to Siracusa too. Seriously if you can book him, you should. I am already recommending him to friends. We loved our day with him.

Alessio was a fantastic tour guide. Knew a lot about Sicily’s history and the places we visited. Very friendly and accommodating and very sensitive to what we wanted to see on the day.

I did both the Baroque Shades of Sicily and the Mt. Etna and Taormina day tours with Alessio as my guide. They were fantastic! Alessio is so knowledgeable of the different time periods, the architecture, and the history of Sicily. I learned so much and have a greater appreciation for the history of the places we visited and Sicily as well. I also learned about the different agricultural specialties if you will within the region which I enjoyed. Alessio is very attentive and made sure I didn’t lose my footing when we were walking around the craters at Mt. Etna. He also knows the best places to stop for pictures, cafe, and food (also all places with nice restrooms). And his driving was smooth which was also very appreciated as I sometimes get motion sickness, but did not through all the windy roads. I highly recommend this tour and tour guide. When I come back to Sicily, I will reach out to him first to see which tours he has available.

I and my wife went on a private tour of Noto, Modica and Ragusa with Alessio, the owner of Sicily Grand Tour. Alessio is a native of Sicily and speaks very clear English without any Italian accent, which is a great plus; particularly when he has to drive the car with his mask on and speak. He is very knowledgeable not just about Sicily but also gave informative tidbits of faraway cities like Trieste in the northeast of Italy. We found him very personable as he was always keen to engage in conversation, enthusiastically clicked our pictures with a DSLR, and of course took us to the best spots in each of the three towns. I can easily recommend him for Sicily tours as his communication/approach right from the time I contacted him via email/whatsapp until the very end of the tour was prompt, clear and amicable. SD

Absolutely fantastic tour with Alessio from Catania. He arranged to pick me up from the hotel, was extremely punctual and knowledgable providing additional information en-route. Despite it not being cost-effective for him to take me as other clients had cancelled last minute he still arrived and because I was on my own put extra effort into making my day fantastic. His English was excellent much better than my Italian although again he was willing to indulge me and allow me to attempt my basic Italian. The amount of information provided over the day and the level of service cannot be criticised and I would definately recommend both Alessio and this tour. Thank you for an excellent day

Beautiful excursion to admire the Baroque of Ragusa, Modica and Noto. Excellent and punctual meeting in Catania, perfect trip, in Mercedes, masterfully orchestrated by Peter who made us befriend two Americans and an Irishman. We learned a lot from talking with Peter during the trip, hiking and lunch in Modica. Then a sweet interlude with Modica chocolate. Beautiful experience to recommend great.

The itinerary was 1 hour free of Ragusa, 1 hour 30 minutes free of Modica and 1 hour free of notes. Only two people participated in the off-season, but they ran the tour without cancellation. They stopped at a photo spot and gave me some advice from a souvenir shop, which was very helpful. It is comfortable with few tourists in winter, but be careful as shops may be closed.
