This class was a blast, and Paolo is the reason why. He was fun and entertaining the whole time, which made the course so much more enjoyable. He also shared tips on how to personalize our arancini, which made the experience feel even more special. You’ll also learn the all-important difference between arancino and arancina. Pay attention, and don’t mix them up... the Sicilians will get mad 😉 Wine is served while you’re making the arancini, which keeps the mood light and fun. Once they’re cooked, you sit down and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Come hungry, because Paolo’s grandma will not be happy if you leave any food on the table! Highly recommended!

An amazing experience. We learned the difference between arancino and arancina and we made arancino. It was so much fun. Loved it. I’ve done 2 classes here…they are they best.
Sabastian was awesome! We had a great time learning to Make Arancino! So good, cant wait to make at home! The restuarant that the class is in, is lively and fun! Makes for a great atmosphere!
We had an absolutely amazing afternoon — everything was well organised and our host did a fantastic job, making the whole experience fun and memorable.”
My wife and I had a fun time learning how to make arancini. Alessandra was a great teacher. We gained a whole new appreciation for the talent and patience it takes to make this Sicilian treat. Enjoyed eating the fruits of our labor after class with a glass of great local wine. Would definitely recommend the class as something different to do while in beautiful Taormina.
Wonderful experience, our host was the best. We met people from all over the world which added to the experience. We would go back for more of the other classes.
Francesca is a very friendly and open cook, she taught us very well how to make our own Arancinos. We had a lot of fun and there was even life music in the restaurant! Very memorable evening for all of us. We would definitely recommend her and the course to anyone!
Perhaps I expected too much based on great reviews so I’ll leave my thoughts. It was fun but not an over the top experience. I’d probably put the money towards a really nice meal or one of the food tours where walk and taste food others have made. Our class had 11 but they hold up to 20. The staff was nice and the venue pretty but after assembling your arancini there is a wait for the one deep fryer to cook each person’s creations separately. The middles were still cool or lukewarm, not hot. Maybe they could cook as long as they’d like bc so many to process? My friend didn’t even want to eat hers. Items for stuffing were already fully cooked so likely not a good safety issue, although they had set out awhile good while, already on the table on our arrival. Possibly a better value for those that could take leftovers with them for another meal and heat up. We’d rather buy a good arancini for 3-5 euros.
Amazing arancio class with Francesca. She was the best teacher to teach you all the secrets to make the best arancini. Thank you Francesca you were the best, learnt so much and hospitality we received from all the staff was wonderful 😊 10 out of 10
Paulo was our chef for the afternoon. Wonderful chef who gave us a one to one lesson which was very fortunate for us, special attention & so much more food to enjoy. Everything was clearly explained & good banter along the way too. Wine & recipes to follow and we could sit & savour our food for as long as we wanted afterwards. Additionally, we were given free ricotta cannoli as a treat for dessert.
This class was definitely a highlight of our trip! Mauricio is the BEST! Hes an incredible chef and loves what he does while making it so fun for his guests. We loved it! Not to mention the amazing food!!!
This was a great experience! Our instructor was knowledgeable and I could tell that she really enjoys her profession. With only one other person in our class, it made the experience more personal and she was able to attend to all of our questions. If you want to take home a bit of Sicilian culture, and meet new people, taking a cooking course I a great way to go
This experience was a lot of fun. We spent three hours with Paolo and Francesca learning how to make arancini, and then having a leisurely lunch with our creations and a carafe of wine, followed by cannolis and limoncello. A great way to spend an afternoon. Paolo and Francesca made the experience very entertaining as well as informative.
Had the best time with Paolo! Chef kiss to the whole experience n to the basically bottomless wine that was included in the experience :) In between the drinks n the enormous quantity of food we made, we spent the whole time rolling on our bellies out of laughter (n fullness)
What a fun and delicious cooking experience! Our chef,Francesca was very helpful, informative, pleasant and accommodating! We had an abundance of food choices for the inside of the arancini, and we made so many! After preparing and cooking, we enjoyed eating our arancini along with wine and a cannoli for dessert. Highly recommend this experience!
We had a great time learning how to make arancino. Great restaurant, great chef and great company. We learnt the tricks of the trade and came away with more arancini than we could eat. We even went back the next day for lunch. Definitely recommend this experience!
The cooking class was so fun. There were lots of options for what to put in the arancino snd the host was so patient and explained everything. Really fun evening.

We enjoyed the opportunity to shop. The food venues were all cafeteria style food, nothing great. It was very hot and we had too much time so we ended up spending time in the stores for the air more than anything

Unfortunately we were first to be picked up so spent the first hour and a quarter picking up other passengers. Had plenty of time for shopping and was back in Giardini Naxos by 4.30pm. Village is easy to get around with plenty of lovely cafes. A lot of expensive designer shops more geared towards younger people but worth a visit.

Air conditioned coach takes you to the outlet and back it was very convenient and we had enough time to shop before returning back.
