2-hours Excursion To The Blue Grotto Of Taormina In Isola Bella

Had a great time on this tour! Unfortunately a highway was closed the day of our tour and what should have been a 15 minute drive became 50 minutes - so instead of arriving early we nearly missed the boat! We stayed in regular contact with Antonio during the drive keeping him updated on our progress and he held the tour back for us - we really really appreciated that! Grazie!

Antonio was really lovely and made the trip very personalized… the caves were amazing. You could see coral and urchins crystal clear blue waters.

Nino and boat provided an excellent trip and information about the area— the grotto was beautiful and got some great pictures. Swimming was fun.

After finding the excursion at the Naxos port a slightly long way by walk but you can use google maps, it was all up hill from there. Lovely small boat very comfortable and shaded. We had the best weather for it and loved the swim in the ocean had lots of time to ourselves. The ride was just perfect and the extra touch of a biscotto given was a scrumptious and of course the glass of Presseco was refreshing .

Tour was good, guide/team was good. Very friendly. All was easy to find and the team was helpful to provide luggage storage.

Nino was amazing very informative so kind and respectful, and he was great with our children. He gave us an absolutely wonderful experience. Highly recommended!!! A trip we will always remember.

The boat operator had few remarks about any of the sites. My rating may have been higher if we weren’t on the boat with eight college students who brought their own liquor and were incredibly loud and annoying.

My wife and I were watching the boats from the beach on day one of our Sicily trip. We’re like, “We should get out there.” We were thinking that it would be super expensive, but Captain Nino’s excision is the perfect balance of chill and efficient. This excursion allowed us the perfect getaway from Taormina. Quick taxi down to Giardini Naxos pier, he’ll call/message you so you can hop on the boat, and see all the sights that you need to see. My wife and I floated in the water because the salt water makes you so buoyant. Chill, awesome time.

We stopped at a beautiful bay for snorkeling, where the water was so clear and the waves were small. We had a great time, and captain Sandro, was very friendly , introduced the sites and threw a few fish food to attract fish, so we could see beautiful underwater scenes. Everything was great, I highly recommend it!

It was an amazing boat trip with Nino! He showed us all the beautiful places on the coast, provided swimming goggles so we could enjoy the blue waters and was overall a very fun and chill guide. Would definitely recommend!

Sea was too choppy felt sick all the way there & back , after we got off we heard there was an amber warning , so shouldn’t have gone out, maybe if it was calm seas would’ve been better .

The description of this excursion indicated we’d go in to see the grottos which were closed. The young man who gave us a narrative was wonderful. I would not recommend this boat trip.

We booked this tour a day in advance and it was a great decision! We shared the boat with only one other couple and had a really great time. We made nice stops to take some pictures and at the end we could take a swim. There were a lot of fishes so take your goggles with you! We forgot, but luckily we could borrow some gear from the captain Antonio. It was a really nice day with Antonio and with the Prosecco he brought!

This was a great excursion of Taormina! Roberto was amazing and made sure we had so much fun (and took enough pictures). He brought Prosecco, beer, juice and water and even cut up a fresh melon for us to enjoy as we took a dip in the beautiful waters of Taormina!

Captain Ninõ gave us an absolutely unforgettable trip on his beautiful, fast and clean boat to see all the fabolous places around the coast. We all agreed, that is was money well spent. Captain was very friendly and informative and treated us to Prosecco and lovely almond cakes. Even out teenagers loved the trip

Beautiful trip, truly showed Sicily off!!! Wish it had been longer. Captain Nino was fantastic, plenty of shade on the boat. Would definitely recommend this fantastic great priced trip.

Loved the cruise, great captain, and even got to see dolphins! Captain Nino was friendly and generous with the champagne! Only problem was finding him, as our rest gave no indication of where his boat would be and its name (Naussica). It turned out that he doesn’t have a docking spot but just pulls up to a small stairway behind a CitySea booth. Fortunately, he replied quickly to our email. Once we found him, all was good.

Going in the Blue Grotto and seeing red starfish! The captain was very friendly and informative. Really enjoyed seeing Taormina from the sea.

Our guide was very informative and personable. He pointed out all the highlights and even took us dolphin watching as we had a bit of time left. Beautiful scenery. I highly recommend.

Very good trip hate I got sick and had to cut it short. Very beautiful and relaxing, nice views. The guy in the boat was very sweet didn’t speak much English but he still tried and interacted with us which was nice.

We paid 76e for a trip to the blu grotto. This was not it. Others were on the same tour and paid 56e for the same thing but without advertising a trip to the blu grotto. By saying the Taormina blue grotto they took advantage of us.

We were on the 4.30pm tour. This was the perfect way to end a busy hot day of sightseeing on land. A couple of local sightseeing spots and then finally A wonderful dip in the Ionian Sea to cool off. Our Captain was excellent let us swim to our Hearts content no rushing felt we were on Sicilian time. A Sweet end touch the Most wonderful Almond cookies Ever and a glass of Proseco🤩 Perfect end to a perfect day💕

The operator of this business did not communicate well at all, I highly advise you look at another place.. we ended up going to the Pierre, and after speaking with the captain for two straight days, they left without us…

Tour was cancelled due to weather. Pending refund for the excursion. Sad we could not go but safety is important!

The guide was very nice, but the boat was loud we were smelling the benzin all the way and the place we stopped for a swim was full of garbage and oil from all the boats stopping there.

Antonio and his team made this 2 hour trip around Isola Bella really fun - great atmosphere on the boat. Beautiful scenery. We loved diving off the boat and swimming around there are lots of fish so see. Wish we had had snorkelling gear with us though as there was so much to see underwater but we booked last minute and had no stuff. Would recommend they advise people to bring snorkelling gear as they only had one set of goggles. Loved the Procsecco and almond bakes! Thank you Crew.

Exceeded all expectations! We had a great time on the trip and the guide really went out of his way to show us all around the waters. We even chased some dolphins for a little bit. Well worth the trip!

This was an incredible time! We enjoyed a lovely boat ride through the grotta azzurra and the surrounding areas of Taormina & Giardini Naxos. The operator gave us free Prosecco and delicious almond paste cookies while we stopped and enjoyed the views. He mentioned several interesting facts about the town and area. He even circled back for us after we were a few minutes late. Incredibly kind and welcoming. Perfect amount of time.

More than fantastic, Nino is such a fun enthusiastic guy and he really makes the boat trip a party. We are also on board for the 3rd time this year, we come back every year.

Excellent experience: comfortable boat for about 10 people, sympathy and attention from Antonio, which still serves the passengers a good sparkling and good fruits (shellfish, kiwi, melon and pineapple) ... and still with the good price of the tour

We spent a Wednesday moment...captain at the top!! Explanation throughout the walk ...view of Taormina , the caves ... with the water crystallizing ... coral clinging to the rocks as well as small fish!! And magical moment... we had the surprise to see dolphins jumping... incredible moment!! We are delighted with this walk... with a snack to toast Sicily!!

A boat ride, normal... There was supposed to be a guide who spoke Spanish and the walk was 2 hours... We left 10 minutes late waiting for someone who didn't arrive and came back 10 minutes early... All the tourists were Italian, so they didn’t bother saying anything in Spanish although, for the little I said, we already found out. Of course, the boat ride is beautiful and snorkeling too. Some proseco and a mini almond paste... All right, just...

We did the excursion with Giuseppe and Pippo: very nice and in love with their land. Beautiful views, amazing caves, swimming in the open sea among fish shiny. A BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE THAT REMAINS IN THE EYES IN THE HEART❤️
