Rooms were very comfortable, bed extra comfortable and roomy. Limited space for closet, bathroom counter, room tables and chairs. Spa and pool very high end. Restaurant onsite delicious. Staff is impeccable, very accommodating and friendly! Far from the Catania village so don't expect to walk.
Nice small boutique hotel, the spa is fantastic. The breakfast was nicely manager by Isabella, she did a very good job, very large selection of fresh baked pastries, fruits, fresh juice; however they could add some healthy options as only tomato, cucumber and fruit were available. Lunch; we ordered a burger and club sandwich, it was a disaster! Dinner; the avocado and salmon was not very good, smocked salmon was very poor quality and very salty, steak and pasta was ok. To acess to the pool you have to paid 20 euros; the water was very cold. They should improve the overall cleaning of the corridors which were dirty, alwell of the gym where garbage was not emptied for 3 days. Very nice hotel but poorly managed!
We chose this hotel to avoid getting into the hectic traffic in the old town and then took a text downtown. It is a beautiful old building and the atmosphere was good with an honesty bar in the nice social area. The room was also large and nice. There was parking possibilities on the hotel grounds and that worked well for us. The breakfast was nice with a combination of à la carte and buffé and could be enjoyed on the terrace or indoors.
A wonderful experience, unfortunately only three days, in a charming building, recently renovated with attention to detail both inside and out. The double room was spotless, spacious and equipped with every comfort. My partner really appreciated the décor and the large terrace. The staff were professional, friendly, helpful and welcoming, in the best Sicilian tradition. We didn't try the cuisine, but the breakfast was of the highest quality with delicious products and dishes (the pancakes and omelettes were superb!). Special mention goes to the hotel's SPA (salus per aquam), which we highly recommend trying. It is an oasis of relaxation where you can recharge your batteries in a sophisticated environment with a wide variety of different spaces (swimming pool, hay bio sauna, salt room, massages, etc.). We will definitely be back for every stay in Catania. PS: the hotel is pet-friendly.
My family and I had an amazing stay at this hotel, everything was perfect - a modern, refurbished villa transformed into a home away from home! All staff members were extremely helpful whenever we needed anything and extremely careful to cater for our requirements, leveling up our first experience at this hotel. First class breakfast, beautiful and spacious rooms with an overall cozy feel and, above all, very clean. A small parking area is also provided ensuring convenience for all guests good with a great location, not right in the centre - a quiet area inside Catania yet, not that far from the heart of the city. We will most certainly return! ❤️
