Suite Del Ponte Normanno

My partner and I are a young couple who stayed here for a week and everything about the room was perfect, comfortable bed, great sized tv etc. I’ve never known someone to reply faster than our host Gianluca when we had an issue with the AC. He was a great host. I didn’t hear anyone else in the other rooms but that’s not to say that you will, I could also hear my partner in the bathroom (bit of an ick) not sure if it’s because it’s a thin wall. We opted out of housekeeping and breakfast but still a great thing to have. the location of it is okay but a little run down area and unsure if I would feel safe walking to it past a certain time but we didn’t have any issues and there’s a lovely cafe about 2 minutes down from it. It is also a 15 minute walk to the main parts where you will find shops, pubs and anything you really need.

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was amazing. The rooms were clean and well maintained, with air conditioning. The host, Gianluca, is welcoming and always responsive. Also the location is near the train station, so this makes it easier to travel around if you don't have a car. Overall it was a great experience 5/5 from me :)

Personally, I wouldn't recommend this place if you prefer lower temperatures The listing claims to have air conditioning, but in reality, the room is equipped with an inefficient fan coil unit that barely works. During a hot summer night, the room was warmer inside than it was outside, making it impossible to sleep. When I reported the issue to the host, they admitted they were aware of the problem and simply offered a standing fan instead of fixing the AC. To make matters worse, other units in the same building have standard, fully functional split AC systems installed on the facade, so claiming it’s a "humidity/building issue" is just an excuse and cost-cutting at the guest's expense. Misleading listing and very poor sleep conditions. I had to leave at 7 AM.

A lovely home away from home. The host is very courteous and friendly. Apartment clean and spacious.
