Ora Luxury Sicilia - Grand Hotel Villa Itria

Excellent hotel with very friendly staff. Highly recommended. Rooms are very clean and the restaurant is a dining experience. All staff were very helpful and the location is amazing.

If you happen to find yourself with a canceled flight, this was a wonderful place for the airline to put us. Everyone was so kind and accommodating and we were able to even wait around for the day until our evening train (canceled flight due to volcanic eruption). It really is a beautiful and very clean hotel with spacious rooms, wonderful restaurant and bar, and beautiful pool area also with a bar and snacks. I can’t think of a better way to have spent an unplanned overnight and day!

Beautiful hotel 30 minutes from Catania airport. Rooms are clean, bar is excellent, meals delicious and there's a pool and spa (didn't have time to use either but my friend said pool was great)

Very disappointing stay. The staff was largely unfriendly and clearly not family-friendly. The only positive exceptions were the bar staff and housekeeping, who were genuinely kind and professional. Everything is charged extra, while the hygiene in the spa area is alarming: a strong mold smell in the whirlpool and visible mold on the ceiling. This is simply unacceptable. At arrival, we received no information at all at the reception, which set the tone for the entire stay. The 4-star rating is highly questionable — in most of Europe this hotel would barely qualify for 2 stars, especially considering that almost all services come at an additional cost. Not recommended, especially for families.
