Nh Collection Palermo Palazzo Sitano

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I was unfortunate enough to book a suite last minute due to the Etna eruption and rebooked flights from CTA to PMO. The suite was 200eur/night more than a comparable place in the immediate vicinity, and does not provide such a quality improvement that it is worth it or advisable to book. The hotel was clean enough, the room was nice and the pastries for breakfast were good. That is where the good news ends. The hotel scammed my partner for scheduling the taxi to the airport for the next morning (The taxis are a flat 55eur rate from the city to the airport, they charged her 70eur). When requesting a late checkout as I was working the next morning, they notified me late checkout was available for an additional 18eur/hr from the scheduled check out. I would expect this service from ryanair after i purchased a flight for 12eur. Not after paying almost 500eur for 1 night. I will not use their hotels again and would advise you to skip if you are at all concious of your spending. There are better options almost anywhere you look.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the NH Collection Palermo Palazzo Sitano. We were upgraded to a suite that was very comfortable and well-appointed. The location of the hotel is perfect. Located on the eastern end of Via Vittorio Emmanuele, it is close to so many restaurants and sights in Palermo, but also slightly away from all of the noise and hubub found to the east on the Corzo. The hotel staff were extremely attentive and helpful. They helped arrange airport transfers, laundry working around the May 1 holiday, and had very good recommendations for nearby restaurants and sights. Looking forward to our next stay at the Palazzo Sitano!

Palermo wasn’t my favorite city, but this hotel definitely enhanced the experience for me. The hotel is very well situated and in a good location for tourists. Despite it being a busy area, you can’t really hear any of the outside noise which is awesome. I absolutely LOVED the shower. The pressure, the amount of waterfall shower water, the temperature. It was perfection. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a shower with the quality of water and nice pressure - I’d like to figure out how to get this at home, because it was so nice. The bed and pillows were also so comfortable. We slept so well. 5 stars because of the really good accommodation, especially shower and beds. Room was spacious, good closet space and organization. Good price overall too. Staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was so good, with lots of different options and nice seating. I’d recommend this hotel if you’re going to stay in Palermo!

We had an excellent time. Presentation-architecturally uplifting with light coming in to lobby and dining area. The heavy, glass door from the bedroom to patio area was unique and high class. Historical details such as stone pillars, were retained and cleverly incorporated. This gave the feeling of being in a unique building. Interior design- high class, up to date and inspired. Gave a feeling of relaxing luxury Housekeeping and maintenance- immaculate from street entrance on. Everywhere sparkling clean and the building maintained as new. Staff- highly trained professionals. Attentive and welcoming. Helpful and groomed to the highest level. Beautiful, immaculately attired staff throughout. Front of house and cocktail bar couldn’t be more welcoming. Delightful Cocktails and detail to presentation. We loved our stay. Thankyou to everyone.
