The hotel itself is very good and certainly has the facilities and standards you would expect from a 4-star property. Unfortunately, our experience was seriously let down by the level of service. We had specifically arranged a taxi through the hotel to pick us up after a concert at 1:00 a.m. and bring us back to the hotel, which was approximately 10 km away. When the concert ended, the taxi simply wasn’t there. We contacted the hotel and were told that they had experienced an issue with the taxi company. Whatever the reason, the result was that we were effectively left stranded in the middle of the night, 10 km away from the hotel, despite having made the arrangements through them in advance. For a 4-star hotel, I find this completely unacceptable. When a hotel takes responsibility for arranging transportation for its guests, especially late at night, there should at least be some effort to find an alternative solution rather than simply leaving the guests to deal with the situation themselves. The hotel offered us a €40 discount as compensation. While the gesture was appreciated, considering the seriousness of what happened, I believe a complimentary night would have been a much more appropriate response. To make matters even more disappointing, we later realised that we had forgotten a charger in the room. Given everything that had already happened, I would have expected the hotel to at least offer to send it back to us at no charge. They did not. It is a shame because the hotel itself is genuinely very good, but service is a fundamental part of a 4-star experience. The way these situations were handled left us extremely disappointed and unfortunately overshadowed what otherwise could have been a very positive stay.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect: beach is in close proximity (5-7 min away) and a lot of good food spots are situated nearby. The pool is very nice as well. Breakfast is great and the view from our room is beautiful.
This is basically a good hotel that just needs a few tweaks, but so well positioned I'd recommend it. The only issue we had with the room was that the aircon wasn't that strong and there were no instructions for setting it up and changing the settings etc. (There was also the fact that the on/off button was on the top of the controller and was impossible to see if you are less than 5ft 8ins! The screen would still come on with the Aircon switched off though, so it looked as though it was on but it wouldn't be doing anything!) The room we had (211) was great though. Clean, with a comfortable bed and a good en suite - small but with a largish rectangular shower unit. The room was also on the front of the hotel so we had great views of Mondello and beyond from the balcony. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss, unfortunately, especially for a 4* hotel. There were the usual cakes, pastries, breads and also a few cereals on buffet tables. However, over the 3 breakfasts we had, there were never any bowls out for the cereals. I had to ask for one every day. You then ordered from a menu for coffee, juice, cheese, ham, omelettes, yoghurts etc. Over the 3 days there was one day they had a flavoured yoghurt available. However I had to go and ask for it every day cos they forgot I had ordered it every day! The pool/terrace area was very nice, thankfully, as the beach is the usual awful Italian type (i.e. most of the beach is controlled by the bars/hotels and so crammed together you can tickle your neighbour without leaving your sunbed! The occasional small stretches for the commoners are just as crowded, just minus the sunbeds). Luckily the terrace has the sun all through the day and enough beds for the size of the hotel. There was also a small bar and 4 (!!) jacuzzis, one on each terrace level, in case you wanted to swap your sweat and sun cream with another guest or two 🤢 There's even a carpark 100m down the road that was about 14€ a day via the EasyPark app (the hotel has a titchy little garage for about 5 or 6 cars but they are parked/retrieved by the hotel for you as they literally cram them in AND it's 20€ a day).
We recently stayed at the Glam. The staff were amazing ! My wife left her watch behind at the hotel and the staff ensured the watch was safely returned to us in England. They worked above and beyond typical service levels. Rooms were fine and very clean. The pool area relaxing and the roof top bar lovely with great views. Highly recomend a stay and to top it off you are 250m's from Modello village restuarants which are brilliant and the seafront. Will will definately visit again. Justin Pitman
Probably my favourite place in Mondello!! The hotel is super charming and accept pets! My "Brutus" and I have been few times and we always had a fabulous time. They also have special and themed brunch and dinner, last one we have been was a "omaggio a Pino Daniele". Delicious food! Excellent and super friendly service! And a breath-taking view over Mondello gulf from their terrazza!!! Highly recommended ♡ ☆☆☆☆☆
