Iblea Paradise

The accommodation sits right at the meeting point between Ragusa Ibla and Ragusa Superiore. Very well priced, clean, and the room was great. My only reason for not giving them 4 stars is the communication: I was sending them messages on booking.com several days before my arrival, indicating my exact train and asking about leaving luggage. There was no respinse. Only after arriving in Ragusa I received a whatsapp message from Andrea asking when am I coming to Ragusa... We had a long whatsapp exchange, following which he eventually allowed me to leave luggage and early check-in. The whole experience left me with a bad impression. I did not see Andrea or anyone else at all during my stay. Nevertheless, I can mark it as a valid budget option in Ragusa.

Nice and quiet place to stay in Ragusa. Clean and easy to park around. The host gives a lot of information about the city, what to visit in the Moto valley, restaurants, etc

Unique place, with nice half-arched ceilings and door passages. Rough stone surfaces give it a character. Extremely clean, with spacious bedroom, bathroom, and dining room. Fridge but no stove or microwave. No breakfast is offered, but a very good coffee shop called Caffetteria Blasé is 5 minutes walk up the hill and opens 8:30 am. Good internet connection in the rooms, comfortable couch. It is better to call the manager before you arrive, so he will be there to open the door for you and pass the keys, because he doesn’t stay there on weekends or evenings. Convenient location, but you will have to park illegally to unload your car. The manager will show you were to park your car for the day. Mine was parked on the parallel street one block away. Walking distance from all points of interest.

Excellent service, rooms are cleaned daily. Very close to the city centre. Owner is very helpful and always available should you need anything. Very recommended.
