Run-down neighbourhood, extremely loud all day and night, streets dimly lit and rather dirty. Building has no insulation whatsoever. If you get a room whose number ends in 1, you'll be next to the elevator and won't sleep at all. Upon entry there was a nauseating smell of bugspray and the windows were tightly shut. The fridge was not plugged in and the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Even though bathroom is large, shower cabin in tiny and unsuitable even for a slim person. Breakfast was minimal and there was only a jug of bitter filter coffee. Waitress was unfriendly and didn't offer other coffee choices, which were available to be brought in as we found out later on. This hotel marred our general impression of Palermo which is a pity, because the city has an allure that escaped us.

Hotel is not faraway from public transport, sights, restaurants and shops, but maybe not the best district overall. Reception staff was very very good, all three women I saw were so kind, helpful and very insighful about exploring the city. However, the noise isolation is very bad, from the room I heard well a woman in her call and in shower. Also the noise from the street can come up very noisy. Breakfast made me very sad, did not expect that in a 4start hotel. Very poor choice and not really fresh food. But the vies from the window was amazing;) Overall, enjoyed my stay but next time would choose another option
We booked this hotel through Booking.com, the location on paper seemed very convenient. But from Palermo central station, we had to take a bus 101 after 3-4 stop we get down and follow google map to reach the place, the hotel is nice but it is surrounded by Ghetto area. You constantly feel upsafe. Streets are dirty, filled with dog poop and somehow not exactly a good entrance for the hotel like this. Reception is ok and well informed. Lifts work. The toiletaries are there basic but works. We had some mountain view but nothing that attractive. Won't recommend to book.
I was a little apprehensive about this hotel having read the previous reviews especially about the noise but I've to say in my stay it was very quiet. It's a wedge shaped building, as if someone had cut it out of a cheese form, so it only has 5 rooms per floor extending up to the 8th floor (the first is the breakfast room). A great pro must be the staff who are very obliging and also breakfast which across my trips in Sicily must be one of the best I had in terms of quality of ingredients and service. As for the cons location must be one as the area around the hotel is definitely a bit gritty with dirty pavements and not much to see or do as the centre itself is a good 20 minutes walk. The bedrooms are also in need of a refurb with scuffed walls but they are clean and the bathrooms spacious with good showers. So all in all a mixed bag. If you are ok with the area and all that it's fine.
The location itself could have been nice, but the reality is unbearable. Every Friday and Saturday night the square in front of the hotel turns into an open-air party, with crowds gathering, loud music, and chaos until the early hours. Of course, the noise is not the hotel’s fault. However, the management is 100% responsible for not taking action. After 23:00, when it becomes a clear case of noise pollution, the hotel should be calling the police to disperse the crowd. Instead, their “solution” is to hand you a pair of earplugs and wish you good luck trying to sleep. If you are looking for rest, peace, or even the basic ability to sleep at night, avoid this hotel at all costs.
