Room was small but always clean and this is the only good service we've had.
At the reception everybody looks very busy and letting you feel like you are disturbing with your questions.
In the restaurant you have to wait for someone to come out from the kitchen if you need something-wouldn't be normal for a member of staff to be there permanently? Or wouldn't be normal to have the coffee machine i the dining room and everybody enjoy a hot coffee? Is more to say but I stop here
Location is good if you have a hard sleep.
Otherwise the noises from the piazza and the neighbours dogs is not a plus.
The good news is that you are in the centre of the town, near the shops and all different markets.
Many ,many thanks to all at hotel. Just back from 7 night stay. Room very well appointed with v good air conditioning, much needed whilst we were there. Very convenient location within 20/5 mins of old quarter of Palermo. We particularly enjoyed the breakfasts with both British and continental ( particularly pastries)options all very good. Coffee was excellent and was brought to the table. Taxi to airport was arranged by very friendly reception. On a personal level really appreciated gym being opened earlier in the morning to fit in a run on the treadmill before indulging in another lovely breakfast!
Best hotel on our Italy vacation! Best air conditioning, most comfortable bed, and a fluffy pillow! A short walk to Palermo Lolli train station and the ferry…and only steps away from the bus stop that will take you to Palermo Central station. It was perfect for us!

We had a very pleasurable 4 night stay last at the Plaza Opera last week. For me, I would put the hotel at the lower edge of 4 stars. Lobby area and hallways are beautiful, but the room was quite spartan - bed and a desk, nothing on the walls, but closet was large. Bed was comfortable, but not great. Bathroom was quite nice and lots of hot water. Wifi signal moderately strong. Nice breakfast area on top floor with wonderful staff. Perfect central location for all the sights.
